P7um,
Getting Outside for the Better
I have always been a fan of TAD and with adjusting to what is becoming the new norm this app could not have come out at a better time.

Going from sitting in front of a desk and playing WoW for hours at a time to being able to get outside and do some real life questing really does help make the day go by. I have not been able to do allot of the quests at this would require traveling outside of the state to areas that are not easily accessible but being able to see what quests are available and try to make up my own that me and the family can do over the weekend we make it all feel worth while.

I’m really looking forward to how they take Quest to a new level and find ways to improve the app for everyone’s benefit.
Narc45ACP,
Adventure awaits!
My first TAD was a Ranger hoodie from about a decade ago. I’ve used it for range work, hiking, off-roading, and everyday use (except in summer of course). Always loved its quality so I kept on getting new stuff from TAD. I was looking at the Alliance tab in the website recently, looking for Foundry stuff, and got curious at seeing Quest there. I downloaded it last week and just went on my first quest yesterday. I love that it makes you think first: solve the clue first and plan before actually heading to the POI, and then actually doing the deed. The app also challenges you with competition on the leaderboards. It makes you showcase your TAD gear and your outdoor skills, and makes you live your life actively. The rewards you receive are points that unlock exclusive gear.... and the adventure that awaits behind each quest.
TwoStepsBeyond,
TAD Quest...A new way to plan adventures.
The team over at TAD has developed something unique to the outdoor community in that they have created an app to get their customer base to explore something new to them. This is fun because each quest requires some research to locate and plan out the trip. Sometimes you’ll find plenty of information about the point of interest, and other times resources will be limited. This adds a greater sense of adventure to it. I participated in Quest 2019 and actually ran into another person completing the same quest that I had never met before. It’s pretty cool what TAD is doing to bring like minded, like interested people together through this app and network.
Knightingale86,
Excellent App, Excellent Company
I’ve been a TAD fan for awhile and only recently was able to branch out into more of their gear. I love em but gosh does this company make my wallet bleed lol but the QUEST app is something I’ve been pumped for ever since they first announced it and I am not disappointed in the least! An excellent user interface and easy to use controls and instructions for navigation as well as vivid photography and a cool intuitive feel to the whole thing. I love the Logbook feature the most, I enjoy checklist though so take that with a grain of salt! Overall I am excited and overjoyed this app finally launched and launched so well and usable on to my own adventure, now get this app and QUEST away!!!
hayhonker,
Sometimes an app can be the boost you need to get out there..
I discovered this app while clicking around the TAD website. I started browsing quests and immediately discovered that this isn’t a run of the mill marketing gimmick.
Within about 15 minutes I had “discovered” quite a few new-to-me locations in the surrounding area.
I decided to check one out on my first free weekend and was simply amazed that I had never heard of the place.
This whole quest thing has given me another option for planning adventures both nearby, across the country, and just while sitting at my desk (digital).
jknrmde,
Neat concept, only a couple of app issues
I’ve followed along with Triple Aught Design for years now and this app is a pretty unique twist on their “ethos” as a whole as well as their seasonal/product releases, and generally just a good way to get out more or follow along with a few puzzle/digital quests.

I’m encountering two issues with the app itself, though neither are dealbreakers. Sometimes the app will not update and without a manual refresh mechanism, you’ll have to log out and back in. The second issue is that some of the quests (SEG Protocol) have contents that aren’t fully visible on mobile. There is a web version too, however, and visibility is fine on a computer’s browser.
moose-mouse,
Quest! Yah!!
I love TAD gear! And now with questing I have even more reason to use it! This app is awesome! (There are some technical oddities in the app, like the back button acting more as a toggle between the last 2 screens than a back button, but overall it’s an easy app to use.) It makes questing an adventure from start to finish. My husband and I plan all our trips using this app. We love solving the clues, mapping out a strategy, using the intel provided in each quest to gear up, and then heading out to conquer our mission! Thanks for creating this fun way to inspire us to explore so many new places and test our skills!
Betty-Blue-13,
Fun idea for a clothing company!
My dad has always really enjoyed their clothing and gear. He used to get stuff more my mom and I as gifts. I never really thought about the company much until they started these quests. They are a fun way for me to get out and explore places I wouldn’t see otherwise. We make family trips out of them from figuring out the clues to taking pictures at the top of a mountain. The app really brings everything up a whole level. Sometimes getting my computer out is just too burdensome when I wanna look at whatever quest we are going to.

Questing for adventure...
I’ve been a “TAD Junkie,” for well over a decade. TAD is about providing the end user with the highest quality mission capable gear, AND NOW, they are encouraging the customers to get out and use the gear as it is meant to be used - Questing for adventure. Explore the world, YOUR world. Experience things in your own back yard, that may never have seen before. Quest with friends, in the “Goon Squad,” section. Build a collection of experiences, earn points, unlock special gear...and LIVE the adventure.

Thank you, Triple Aught Design. As always, you deliver the goods...and Quest is just that - GOOD. 🤙
BDefeo,
New found love!
I had dreamt about joining the Triple Aught community and finally owning a piece of TAD gear and now about a year later I’ve got quite a few items that I can’t wait to put to work on some Quests. Quest has opened my eyes to something I didn’t know I liked to do... explore. This is great, it has shown me how to push my body (by loosing 40+ lbs) so that I can get in some sort of shape to get out and see this beautiful land we live on. It’s helped me meet new friends that share the same interests! And I’m excited to start logging some serious miles, heights, and depths! F-Yea!
