TAG Heuer Connected Hack 2.1.2 + Redeem Codes

This is the second version of their companion app for the Connected watch and it is miles🏃🏽‍♂️ ahead from the previous version. Not only can you change your ⏱watch dials, they’ve also added a sports app. This is great as it syncs all the info from your watch to give you a more in depth look at your activities on your 📲phone. It’s really intuitive and well designed. Going to spend some more time with it, but first impressions is fantastic, so I am giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Despite having opened a case for several weeks with TAG Heuer Connected technical support, and having a couple of one-hour long phone calls with them, they still can’t fix my connectivity problem.

I am very frustrated with random connectivity issues on my new smartwatch.

75% of the time that I use Google Assistant, Maps or Translate, in my wear os watch (TAG Heuer connected 2020) it doesn’t connect to internet and gets an error message like "can’t reach google at the moment". It happens with or without WiFi available. The watch is always connected to Bluetooth, the broken cloud is never present.

When I go to connectivity and select WiFi, it’s never connected, it says “last used” and then connects and apps work for a few seconds and then it happens again.

Something weird is that Google Play Store always works and get connected without issues, I can even use it as workaround, opening first google Play Store and immediately open Google Assistant, Maps or Translate and they will work for a few seconds before disconnection happens.

Another thing I noticed is that whenever Google Assistant works, if I keep asking questions continually, it works well as long as I don’t wait. If I wait just a few seconds after it responded, looks like the connection timeouts and it doesn’t work again for several attempts. The same with Google Translate or Maps.

I bought this watch about a month ago because I have a thing for watches and thought would be a good addition. Honestly, I wanted something a little more stylish than my iwatch. So I dove in … downloaded the app along with WearOS (Google). Saw that it had cycling and walking as traceable activities. Yes !!! Because since the pandemic most of my workouts are at home. 🏋️‍♀️ Soon discovered that if I walk on my treadmill It tracks my heart rate … it tracks my time … sorta tracks my exertion… but it only tracks about a third of my walks because it thinks I’m not actually moving. Booooo 😒 Don’t get me wrong the watch looks amazing. It feels great on my wrist. The complications offered through this app get a thumbs up. 👍🏾 For fitness tracking unfortunately a big thumbs down 👎🏾 #dobetter Tag … expected more. Doesn’t allow for text notifications either.

For a company like this to launch a connected product and have it perform so poorly is truly disappointing. I purchased the golf edition watch which they claim connects seamlessly to Apple Health/Fitness and it does not at all. Not only does it not transfer data, but the watch does not come close to capturing the correct amount of time, steps, distance and calories while using. Also, the fact that you have to download 4 different Google apps to even make an attempt to get this to work is an absolute joke. Come on Tag, you are supposed to be a top brand. If you want to be in the connected market build an app that works for the iPhone and stop relying/blaming it on Google, Strava, etc. I have reached out to customer service and have heard nothing back. If you want your connected watch and app to work with Apple, look somewhere else. Tag is lost. I am so disappointed. Tag should be embarrassed to put their name on this.

Bought the watch due to the NFT verification and integration which seemed innovative but it has a ton of bugs. Everytime I use the sports app it messes up the NFT watch face and the motion spinning particles stop spinning for good whenever the watch face gets activated. Customer services and technical support have no clue of how this is happening and no clue when they'll have an update to fix this. I wanted to return the watch but CS says they can't take the watch because of a SW bug even though the whole selling point on the watch is this NFT integration which is NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. I own several Tag Heuer watches and this is the 1st time I'm dissapointed with both the product and the service.

Just having it for about a week, I am very pleased with the quality and operation. I like the many different watch faces to choose from. The phone app allows me to easily configure it from day to day. I also believe this watch is an exceptional value. Thank you Tag Heuer

I was getting connection issues when I first used this watch & app last March but are now fixed since. The app is not perfect but gets the job done based on my needs and use. My only “complaint” is that I cant get Mario theme/faces and that we dont get new watch faces regularly and had to rely on third party apps (which i do not prefer). Overall I am happy with the watch and app, and hoping that we could get new watch faces every now and then. Give us Mario faces!!

I love detail. It expresses the degree to which a company cares about their reputation. The level of detail in the presentation of the Tag Heuer Connected watch is perfect.
Of course if the actual watch itself was lacking no amount of presentation could make up for a lacklustre product. So far I am not disappointed.

Interesting watch faces. Once the watch goes into sleep (energy saving), those faces look very basic and simple.
It would be awesome for users to have some level of control what happenes when the watch goes into power saving state.
I would like to see the same face that dimms a little but looks still exactly like the one when full power is on.
For a $2,500 watch I would expect a little more.

I will never buy a Tag watch again, let alone their connected version. I have owned two of their mechanical watches previously and was a big fan of the brand. That all ended when I had an issue with my connected watch and they refused a warranty repair (even inside the warranty period). They claimed I had abused the watch when in fact all I have done is used it as a Sportswatch a.k.a. its intended purpose. I now on a Garmin Fenix 5 and can confidently say the Tag does not even compare. If you are looking for a true Sportswatch look elsewhere as this is not one!
