Say hi to the biggest Taxonomist update ever! This release is all about documents, the iPad and all the great new features in iOS 11. Here are some of the new improvements:

· Now you can work with multiple taxa in a single document which can be saved to your device or in the cloud and shared with other people. Moreover, this means you can work with several documents and even sync them across all your devices.

· Build your own tree of life. With the amazing new drag and drop capabilities in iOS 11 on the iPad you can now drag a species (or even more than one!) over the currently selected species to create a lineage alignment where you’ll be able to learn more about how these species have evolved over time.

· Yes: iPad, iPad and iPad. I’ve completely redesigned the app’s iPad user interface so as to take advantage of all the screen size available on this devices. And why not? Now you can combine split view and the new drag and drop feature to, for instance, compose an email with your latest findings :)

· The Wikipedia abstracts for your taxa are now displayed using rich text when available.

· You can now choose to see common names instead of scientific names in lineages when available.

· Taxa are now cached so they don’t have to be downloaded again each time you add them to a document.

· Support for Galician language.

· And many more fixes and performance improvements!

pajfie zismeil,
This is a hollow app, DO NOT BUY
It just goes to your iCloud folder and that’s it, there is literally nothing there. I wish Apple would make the refunds easier so we can counter such crappy trash apps, there are hardly any good science apps as it is. Apple should force these guys to take crap like this down, its a non existent app, who knows, maybe it’s a hack, if I don’t get my money back I’m gonna be ticked.
gbrljnsn,
Empty
Literally nothing in the app. You can browse your own files in the cloud, but you can’t open any of them. Not that anyone would want to use this app for that, but I thought this would help with a taxonomy class I’m taking and it’s literally just empty. Nothing to it.
dell0002,
Buyer beware.
Do not buy this app, it is useless and I would give no stars if I could.
Zach's Latitude 7390 2-in-1,
NOT a directory of plants, animals, etc
This is not what I thought it was - an app for understanding the genetic similarities of living organisms .
mike03.14,
Aweful!!!
I literally don’t know what to do. This is garbage.
bellio7,
Empty
Seems empty on my iPad Pro. There’s literally nothing on the app.
