Techne is amazing
I love Techne so much. I can compete with teammates doing different drills made up of dribbling skills, wall passing, and juggling. Coaches can see your progress too. You can also put in custom leaderboards with sisters, brothers, or other friend not on your team. You can see improvement within yourself, and become a way better soccer player. To keep a streak you have to complete ten minutes of training a day. One thing I would recommend is putting in a function where players can put in how long their games are and that could count towards your streak minutes. I know that people could misuse that though. But also I know you are supposed to train outside of set games an practices so understand why not to put that in. All and all the I have seen improvement in juggling and one on one moves. I love this app!!

I’m a soccer player and during quarantine this is perfect! My coach can see my progress and I have goals to meet that help me stay focused while training alone at home! The app also provides a little competition with my fellow teammates and I because we can also see each other’s progress! Overall this is a great app that is very easy to use! The voice controls on the timer allow you to put your phone on a table while you complete your tasks while not going over time on accident! I love this app and it’s design it is very sleek and modern! The sock level is a very fun way to motivate us players into practice for more hours daily! Overall great app and I am a super happy soccer player in quarantine! Well as happy as I can be that my season was pretty much cancelled. Great app easy to use nice design! Overall I feel like this app really does deserve 5 stars!

Great for parents to help kids
I am skeptical of technology in general & prefer my kid to go play in the backyard. We have this app free through his club. But after a year of learning about training, I think I’ve learned that at the young ages (my son is 13, but still in that category) the things to focus on are 1. Ball handling in order to have 1v1 skills that help them keep the ball & move it forward and 2) finishing skills .
Techne helps with number 1.
He’s been doing the World Cup challenge this summer & I like how the drills are simple, achieveable daily, and build skills. After this 30 day program we might look at some of the finishing drills.
I would recommend this. There is info available online but this puts it together in a manageable, motivating & progressive way.

I coach a boys classic U-14 team and we signed the team up for Techne so the kids would have a focused and competitive technical training program that they could focus on this summer. Hands down the kids who have committed to it are improving their games. I knew Yael’s program would be excellent but I didn’t realize how quickly it would translate into first touch, confidence and stamina on the ball and decision making. After only 50 days the players are so much better!!! Thank you Yael and Techne!!! I highly recommend this for both individual training and especially for teams because the Leaderboard is very motivating for the players. One of our kids has just broken into the top 100 leaderboard and he is so excited to keep moving up!!

Would recommend
Amazing app, it’s great for players in quarantine or who simply want to practice. One thing I would recommend is adding customizable time options (ex: being able to choose how long your drill is). I know I’m having difficulties when playing on the app because I just don’t want to have to click buttons every 1-3 minutes. Maybe add 1-6 minutes for certain drills? Also, I would personally enjoy a ‘free play’ option, where you select the number of minutes you want to train, and do whatever drill you want during that time, or anything with the ball. I have trained probably double the time by myself then on Techne, and I’d love to track my ACTUAL training sessions— it would be way easier this way if you only had to press a few buttons for a half hour!

I’d like to HIGHLY recommend techne from a manager/parent perspective! As a team manager, I find techne to be an excellent tool for players to use. The videos are very helpful in teaching the players specific skills. The app is so easy to use! My children-ages 10 and 12-both love techne! The app offers a wide variety of skills, challenges and physical/mental exercises. But what I mostly want to express is that the customer service I’ve received from techne has been OUTSTANDING!! Hunter and Molly specifically have been wonderful to work with. They reply promptly, are very courteous and truly want to help resolve issues. I cannot say enough about their customer service! They go above and beyond! Five+ stars!!

Amazing Progress
My daughters were turned onto this app through their soccer academy during the COVID-19 shutdown, and they are hooked... The dribbling, wall work, and juggling drills are phenomenal for all competitive age levels as you can adjust the difficulty and still have a correlating instructional video clip per setting. And with different sessions available weekly, it’s exceptional at keeping a fresh, comprehensive, and engaging set of drills on your child’s plate. My 8 year old went from her juggling record high being 13 TO 58, and my 9 year old WENT FROM 28 TO 105 IN THE MATTER OF A MONTH!! You just can’t put a price on the number of touches they’re getting on the ball with this app... I’d certainly encourage any parent or club to invest in Techne Futbol as a fun and productive training tool.

Amazing!
Ok, so my original impression was incorrect(i thought there was no way a 40 dollar subscription could be worth it, but this app has proved me wrong). I have been using the pro plan for a few weeks now, and i have noticed so much improvement! This app has great weak foot training, and juggling tips. And a lot of drills i would have never thought to do on my own. The mental training has also gotten rid of my anxiety before games. I will recommend it to all my teammates! Definitely worth it for the price. I love competition so the leaderboards are such a fun feature! I also love the World Cup training! If you are looking to improve any aspect of your game this app is a must in the offseason!

I have tried countless soccer apps to find something that had the right level of challenge, but Techne Futbol was above and beyond all the others. The training modules and organization of the app allow for progressive increases in challenge.
I also love the video feature to test your skills in front of the camera. This is a great tool to see the progression you have made in specific drills. The weekly training packages are also a great feature. No longer are you stuck doing the same repetitive drills every week. Each week has a new tailored line up of drills to practice.
Love this app. I train on it and so do the kids I coach.

The best support for coaches and players
The Techne platform has helped coaches support their players in many aspects of development. Since our players began utilizing the app, I have seen more comfort with the ball, more ideas, more players willing to use their 2nd favorite foot 😃, better balance and coordination.
I have also seen some players learn how to make time for their own development, set goals, challenge a teammate; all skills that will help in other avenues of life.
Coaches also have support in providing assignments to do at home with videos, a variation of levels. It’s got it all. Techne continues to listen, engage and grow as well so there is always something new.
