Tespo Health Hack 2.1.1 + Redeem Codes

So I can say that using the Tespo (after I was able to connect) has been pretty good. I haven’t connected any other of my devices yet. I don’t think I will.
I have to say, just like so many others, the connection process was the most frustrating. It took several times for it to finally connect.
And it would be nice if the water tank came off for better cleaning and refilling. But overall I’ll continue to use it. And for those reasons I give it a 3, based on immediate experience.

I’ve been a loyal Tespo user since 2016, well before there was an app. Over the years, the customer service has been outstanding and it’s one reason why I’ve remained a customer. They even sent me a free replacement dispenser years after my first one stopped working. However, I wonder if they are under new ownership because the customer service is atrocious now and the app has literally never worked for me. There are constant log-in and account errors, and it won’t connect ever, at all. I had an issue with my dispenser recently and my customer service request was completely ignored. I ended up ordering a new dispenser along with 3 new pods to get a discount on the dispenser and I got a tersely-worded email that 2 of the 3 pods (everything except the Customized Pod) are “out of stock indefinitely.” It seems the new ownership is pushing the Customized Pods at the expense of what got Tespo here in the first place. As a long, long-time customer I’m super disappointed.

I don’t know where my other review is but I rated three stars based off of the dispenser working great but the app needed Work.

I’m lowering my rating to two stars as it never reminds me to take the dose. When I do take the dose at the same time that the reminder is set up, it says I missed my dose but took an extra one.

Also I still have yet to hear back from the company on what vitamins are actually in the dose. I could be drinking Tang for all I know. It would seem a company would have a list of ingredients in their product readily available.

Tespo started small and with this recent update they added the “currently in dispenser” which allows me to set my schedule, see my weekly adherence and even see a visual of how many doses I have left.
I love the clean card layout with visual charts.
My favorite section is the “currently in dispenser”.
I just started this bariatric journey last month so I’m thrilled to see this useful addition.

Suggestions:
1) Apple health integration. I don’t have Fitbit not garmin. I do have an Apple Watch.
2) bariatric servings are 2x daily. Please add the ability to change the frequency from the “once/Day”
3) smart scale integration. I have a Withings Body plus composition scale and would love for this app to be my go to for steps, weight, vitamins, sleep & activity.

I was so excited to get the Tespo, one of the reasons being that you can connect it to your phone, Alexa and another WL app I’m using.

I downloaded the app as soon as I unboxed it but still, after 6 weeks, I cannot get it connected to WiFi. I contacted support via their chat feature because when you call in no one answers. It’s just a recording advising you to email support. I had already done that with zero response. The agent was nice enough, told me it needed to be escalated to engineering, that was almost 2 weeks ago. Crickets ever since.

Save your money, don’t buy the dispenser just purchase the Tespo Go and a small shaker bottle.

The app is very buggy. When I downloaded it, there was no option given to connect my machine to WiFi, and there doesn’t seem to be any where in the app where you can connect to WiFi. It won’t connect to my phone’s Bluetooth either when I select add a dispenser since it’s not connected to WiFi. There are some things that won’t open up on the app, such as users, or the contact is button, and when I put my height in, the next time I go to it, it is no longer there. This app needs a major overhaul, especially since there is no connecting the app to the machine.

I just downloaded because I got the vitamin dispenser. It timed out in setup at entering phone for notifications. I closed and reopened it and I cannot get it to even open. I have the first screen with a wheel spinning and eventually I get a message that says it timed out, so I can’t even get into the app! Very frustrating.

Ok It looks like react native app was written by a pre-schooler. Logging in failed with a JavaScript serialization error. Could not read data. Deleted and reinstalled. So unable to log in and use the app. Have no idea what impact will have on vitamin dispenser. My guess that is crap too but we will see. Getting my custom vitamin is key to my survival so if it fails I will be very unhappy.

I keep getting an error message that my phone number is in the wrong format! I bought the Tespo connect and now I can’t even link it to my bariatastic app for reminders. I’m really disappointed as I like technology to keep me on track

I bought the dispenser specifically for the use of the app and everything the app had to offer! Can’t sign in . The app keeps throwing me into a sign in the loop. And it never gives the option to connect to the dispenser.
