Excellent for those who enjoy poker but don't want to gamble
I downloaded a number of poker apps before I settled on this one, and for obvious reasons. I wanted a game where I could gamble fake money with more then just the computer. This game allows you to socialize with not only a huge cross-compatible community on different devices but also to connect with your friends on Facebook and enjoy the fun of poker, rather than gambling away real money at a casino or through a pay system. I would highly recommend this unbiasedly as a solid time passer and a good way to learn the ropes of poker, as well.
As for all of those other reviews that complain about the game being all about luck: poker is all about luck. Even if you were at a real table your hand is solely based on luck. This is just a different median of playing a classic card game. The computer doesn't favor anyone, it's just how you play the game. It's a 50/50 luck/skill kind of game no matter what median you play it in.

Good App, Bad Support
I've played this app for years & enjoy the competition. But I've had two issues with Wagner support & they will not correct any mistakes made by their server. Players level up by playing and I was a Level 12. During a "server maintenance" my level was changed to level 7. I believe this was due to multiple accounts under the same "nickname". I contacted support & their response was "levels can't be changed". Well, I know mine was because I play almost daily. Otherwise fun game & nice players. Word of advice: do not log in using Facebook or real name. There are stalkers on all internet apps

i have been on and off this app since 2011. i have played 100,000+ hands across multiple accounts. i’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with this app. The people who created this app should literally be so ashamed of themselves. the lengths they go to literally rip money from you over and over by giving that person the one and only possible out to beat you. my account is a level 36. they have genuinely put some sort of hold on my account to where i can no longer build past like 7million. yet others have 2.5-3.2 Billion and continue to grow everyday. this app has wasted enough of my time/energy/and money i have chosen to delete my account as the people who made this app are disgusting low life’s who ignore every email, every complaint. i lost 220milliom after signing in and out of my account

Seen it happen with my own eyes. If your not spending enough money to suit their taste, they will lock you out of your account or do whatever it takes to get you out of the way. After I bought chips and played for quite a few hours and was definitely ahead, they had the henchmen on me. Wouldn’t have believed this had I not seen it with my own eyes. Unbelievable. When I went to log back in they said the password was incorrect. I new exactly what password I used. I hit forgot password. They said they emailed one to my email. They didn’t. Basically locked me out of my account. These people who run these things need to be in jail

Complete BS
Anybody who rates this app three star and above has no idea what real poker is. I’ve been playing poker for over 20 years, some professional with good results. I’ve played many poker apps as well. Of any poker app, I've never seen so much BS. I just completed 50 five-person Sit & Go tournaments and only won four (8%). On other apps I have 28%+ win record in such tournaments. I’ve never seen so many four of a kind and full houses hit on the river. It’s truly amazing and statistically not realistic. Poker King clearly caters to players who pay. I highly recommend staying away from this app. If you play understand you'll get screwed unless you pay, but I recommend taking your money elsewhere regardless.
If you want to learn real poker this is definitely not the place. If you're looking to waste your time with a bunch of players who don't care, or have an advantage because they pay this is the app.
To try and be positive, this app does have a simpler and cleaner Interface with less gimmicks compared to other poker apps, but that doesn’t make up for the statistical BS.

Payouts/winning hands
This game is great except for one aspect. The way the game splits the post for multiple winning hands based off of how many chips you bet. Some times even giving money to someone with a loosing hand. Two examples, I had 4 chips left in a tournament, I split the pot because we had a 9 in our hand and on the board but my other card was a queen his a 2, even tho I should’ve been the sole winner I only got somewhere around 140 chips and he 1.3k because he had bet a majority of the chips. The other example is I win with 2 pair only 100 chips in the bank and get 400 chips but someone who has a lot of money still had 1 pair and still got 100+ worth of chips, the only correlation I can make is they have significantly more chips and you fewer. It kind of ruins the vibe of the game sometimes it’s a great game otherwise, almost always have some sort of hand so you are constantly engaged. Fix the pot issue and its one of the best on the store

I’ve loved this app for long time but there is a handful of cheaters playing 2 and even 3 accounts at same table. The app used to monitor this and try and stop it. That no longer happens and I see the poker players slowly leaving. Few years back this app was booming with 4 full servers now only 1 and it’s mostly empty. Other poker sites are getting your business and it won’t get better til you get rid of the double and triple sitters. There is also 1 player in particular that seems to know what Turn and river card is coming. His name is le quack and by way he bets and wins so quickly I’d say he was a computer programmer of some sort. I’m expert at poker and nobody can win that fast consistently as he does playing hands with seemingly bad draws that hit far too often

Last “bug” fix caused a worse “bug” issue
I have played this app for years and it was always my favorite. Until this past year. I play daily, sometimes multiple times daily. I like the app for its simplicity…login, play poker with real people, no frills. Easy enough. But something went wrong with the last bug fix they did a year ago. The algorithm is way off! It does not shuffle properly, LITERALLY! I just played and, as happens most days now, I get the exact same pocket’s sometimes 3 and 4 hands in a row. Then, the same winning hand comes out on board: 2 pair - winner always having a high full house. All for consecutive hands, repeatedly and daily. I think it’s time for a new bug fix! Until then, I’ll check this one for an update; I’m willing to give it another try (again, I do enjoy the simplicity) but I will be switching to another app for now.

I didn't tested this theory by purchasing 20K worth of coins within my first three hands I have one with my highest hand yet a straight flush. This app is a monument to mediocrity and the posers pretending like Vegas card sharks. Do not waste time on this app or any other poker app for that matter they are all rigged to get you to spend more money.
Calculating ev and equity is pointless when hundreds of kids with their parents credit cards are buying millions in coins so they can rid any competition with reckless abandon.

Full of racism and perverts
Used to be a decent app. Now it’s full of trolls and cyber bullies. They like to be shocking by using racial slurs, vulgar sexually explicit language and often the sexual remarks refer to children. People report them but the reports go largely ignored and there is never any action taken. The trolls over time have realized this app is a safe haven so they are prolific now. They are allowing men to post pics of their penises and refuse to take them down when reported. This app has been abandoned by the people who own it. I’ve reported this app’s lack of action against this type of behavior to the App Store and will continue to do so. The fact that support in this app ignores, thereby encourages this behavior, is in direct violation of App Store policy. I ask the App Store to to enforce their rules.
