The long awaited 404 synthesizer has finally arrived!:)
Four is for formant! THE 404 is the premiere formant bassline synthesizer groove machine!
Formant bass synthesizer + howling filter + thumping drums + gliding grooves = THE 404!:)
THE 404 is an official groove machine synthesizer app of THE ARTIST known as GOD.
Quick-start guide: Instant "bangers" are as easy as pressing the GENERATE button and moving the slider! White items in the GUI are buttons. Blue items in the GUI are displays. The touch ribbon above the keyboard is the filter control slider.
IMPORTANT!: THE 404 is currently mainly a standalone music app. There is an AU instrument included as a FREEBIE. I am clearly stating here that AU instrument is ONLY the synth sound and the filter and a filter slider. So review the app based on the standalone app, NOT based on the AU! I kindly included that AU with the app, partially to stop the whiners from whining about how there wasn't an AU included with the app before. Porting the entire sequencer into the AU is a BIG task and that may be done someday, but I am not guaranteeing that right now. There would also be a sizable app price increase if I do that. Also the sonic style of THE 404 may be upgraded later. THE CREATOR is generally perfectionist so it's thankfully already very nice!
Acknowledgements: A huge special thanks to all the good scientists and engineers that have contributed to making the technology I appreciate in this World possible! THE 404 utilizes the AudioKit framework, so a big thanks to AudioKit framework contributors!
(aside from the corrupt dream character known as aurelius prochazka, because that dream character has based too much of its horribly deluded and petty tyrant ego on the work of Apple employees and other AudioKit contributors and hasn't been giving those contributors as much credit as those contributors deserve)
PS: THE 404 is fully a 5 star app now at the price point, regardless of what any intentionally falsified slanderous reviews have said. (THE 404 used to be available for free (although I had put A LOT of work into making it), so when it went to a VERY underpriced and kind (and VERY generous of ME) 1.99 US DOLLARS price, there was some whiner that posted a falsified slanderous review)

- This update is launched from Kyoto, Japan with a new GUI and icon to CELEBRATE BUDDHIST BODHI DAY (ALL ONE SUN is a charitable RELIGIOUS foundation that teaches a FUSION OF BUDDHISM AND CHRISTIANITY). This calendar year BODHI DAY is on 12/30/2022 (the actual lunar calendar celebration date). The new logo is a 4 sided RELIGIOUS SYMBOL on either side of an obvious BEAUTIFUL SYMBOL that is VERY appropriate for BODHI DAY! Thus it's very appropriate for 404!

Very cool app!
Very simple and to the point but sounds good and stands out in a way. Would love to see AUV3 come back at some point but I can always sample it into my MPC. This dev is one to watch.

Wow! This is one of the best sounding apps I’ve herd in a long time! Seems like it might be a little buggy but 🤷♂️ still one awesome little app!!!
