ELECTROBASE is both a fun music app and a revolutionary new way to view a music production app as a type of space ship interface!:)
Making a nice electro groove with ELECTROBASE is as easy as pressing 2 buttons (PLAY and GENERATE) and moving the sliders! (More advanced music composers can also manually compose with the elaborate step sequencer)
Piloting ELECTROBASE can feel like piloting a musical starship! Greetings electronauts! (and elektronauts)
ELECTROBASE thankfully squelches and chirps and thumps like a nice electro anthem should.
ELECTROBASE also includes an AUV3 instrument! (New in 2.17)
Better to install ELECTROBASE today while it's at introductory sale pricing (launched in December of 2022) as the ELECTROBASE app pricing will increase after the introductory discount and as features are added.
Note: An Apple iPad or iPhone that is from at least as recent as 2018 is recommended. Although ELECTROBASE likely does perform alright on some iPads and iPhones from before then, customers installing on pre-2018 iPads and iPhones have been warned that the performance on those may not be as optimal as on newer iPads and iPhones. If there are any issues on older iPads and iPhones, make sure that other apps aren't using the CPU in the background.
Quick-start guide: Pressing PLAY and GENERATE and moving the HYPERDRIVE sliders is the shortcut to electro bliss in ELECTROBASE. White items in ELECTROBASE are buttons. White rectangles with black backgrounds are displays. The first slider in the HYPERDRIVE section above keyboard is for the ELECTROBASE oscillator (smooth transition from saw to square) and the second slider is for controlling the filter.
IMPORTANT: ELECTROBASE is mainly a standalone app, although includes an AUV3 (basically as a complimentary freebie for now) with ONLY the synthesizer section of the app. That AU doesn't include the sequencer and drum and so on. So when reviewing the app, review the standalone app (not the AU). Thanks in advance! (It's a lot more involved to port the entire sequencer to the AU, and a friend and an acquaintance make similar desktop AU plugins, so I don't want to offend them by making a competing desktop AU. Although they didn't assist with any of the programming in ELECTROBASE) Also important to note that ELECTROBASE isn't a clone of anything and isn't intended to be. Thankfully ELECTROBASE has a very unique feature that makes that very obvious. Also the sonic style of ELECTROBASE may be upgraded later. THE CREATOR is generally perfectionist so it's thankfully already GREAT! (A LOT of fine tuning was involved to get it to thankfully sound so good without adding a bunch of extra controls)

-Sadly a bunch of slanderous lying scumbags posted fake and HORRIBLY misleading "app ratings" of 1 star out of 5 (standard corrupt and deceitful behavior of a HORRIBLY corrupt "tribe" named after a deceitful slave merchant that murdered the historical CHRIST and has more recently been attempting genocide against semitic Palestinians). People that liked or loved the app weren't writing enough good reviews to counteract those false ratings and slanderous lies, so added a prompt to make it easy to give the app the great 5 star rating the app FULLY deserves. - New AUV3 Instrument included with ELECTROBASE now.
- The relatively new Apple SwiftUI framework was causing some performance issues on some older (2018 and before) machines after added a couple of extra sliders, so removed those for now. That SwiftUI issue had also made maintaining the version parity on the Catalyst macOS app more challenging as those machines weren't handling the app as nicely as newer M1 and M2 machines were. Those sliders also added complexity for mainstream customers that wasn't originally planned. Currently deciding if going to wait for Apple to make SwiftUI perform faster on older machines (so those sliders can be brought back into the app) or simply redesign the GUI (likely not using SwiftUI because there doesn't seem to be any benefit to using it...SwiftUI generally sucks honestly). Currently wonder if the app would perform as fast on an Arduino Uno (if I rewrote it in C) as it does using a SwiftUI GUI. Anyway, the app is a GREAT deal at the current pricing and I was maybe getting a little maniacal by adding so many things to it. This 2.17 update is a nice balance of features and GUI simplicity. Now the ELECTROBASE 2.17 app should look and perform similarly nicely on all Apple iPhones, iPads, and computers from 2018 and newer. It's still recommendable to make sure no CPU intense apps are running in the background on older machines while using ELECTROBASE for optimal performance though.

Horrible app Even worse developer
The app is basically a toy. It has no connectivity and offers NOTHING new or original to the iOS music making community. The dev is a racist who should have his Apple account shut down. He was banned from the Audiobus website forum for multiple racist rants. The thread for this app no longer exists. He created a new account and is again spewing some of the most vile, hateful language imaginable. Oh, and that first review on this app? That is the dev, it is the same handle he was using on the Audiobus forum. Yeah, a real piece of work, this guy.
