No sound! Fix this, please!
Like the other recent reviews, THE VIDEOS IN APP HAVE NO SOUND. The whole point of getting this was to have additional features than the printed book! It isn’t useless because mostly animation doesn’t need sound to be informative, but I’m very disappointed that this has not been resolved after a YEAR of complaints. I’m not hopeful about any upcoming changes.

All Animators should have this
I love this app! It’s perfect if you're just starting out or have been in the industry for years and want to remember the basics. I own the book as well and for the extra video content alone, this app is worth the cost. I’ve never run into any sound issues - I bought this back when I had the iPad 2, now I have the iPad Pro and it still works like a charm.
Although there is no way to bookmark in the app it does have a very nicely laid out table of contents that will take you back to any chapter.
If the price tag has you scared there is a demo version you can try out - that’s how they reeled me in.

Used to crash, but back to working
The book is excellent. The app used to be, but it’s now unusable, at least on iOS14.
Update: the latest update fixed the crashes, and it’s back to being invaluable. Thank you for updating the app!

The Bible of Animation
This interactive masterpiece would be a bargain at twice the price. A rich, comprehensive and indispensable tool to learn animation, it gathers the collective experience and skills of a small army of professionals and drops it into your lap. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, this book will give you everything else, period. An amazing achievement.

Very interactive "book"
It took some getting used to at first but it's a good mix of video and reading material. Sounds kind of obvious but make sure you take silent mode off of your iPad to listen to the audio.

Used to be good
This app was a great reference when I was in school. Now none of the videos play making the app almost useless. This is a travesty that Richard Williams great work has been left to the hands of amateurs. I think I speak for all animators when I say ‘Fix it’ please this is not rocket science here. You are denying future generations access to this masterpiece.

Doesn’t even start
The star I gave it is for the opening animation. It’s the only thing I can judge, because it’s the only thing that worked. Upon further reflection, I might deduct this star for the insulting sexism of the Jessica Rabbit bit in the animation, but at least it worked.

No Sound - No Support
The app seems to be laid out better than the iBooks version but the iBooks version plays sound. I’ve been unable to get a hold of the developers and will retract my review if this issue is corrected.

Doesnt work on current iOS
Total crash failure. Last update 3 years ago. They do not care about their customers. Do. It waste your money on this or them.
