Most Adult Backgammon BUT…………
The game is fine, but gets hijacked by some idiotic matching game. It freezes and users must restart Apple devices to continue until it freezes again. Please fix this. It happens on both iPad and iPhone.

Ads Are Persistent. Cannot X out of them.
Acorn Investing ads are the worst. The ad finishes playing. I am not interested. There is no X. The only symbol is >> which takes you to the App Store. Even if you go to the App Store you cannot get rid of the ad and return to the game unless you close the application and restart it. Acorn is not the only advertiser that does this. Others have an X that is impossibly small so you end up at the App Store anyway. Again you cannot close the page and return without restarting the app.
I would gladly pay for this app. It’s an excellent game. But you cannot buy this app. You must endure the ads. You must visit the App Store. You must download the advertised ad. Or you must close and reopen the game. This is unethical and unacceptable. I am disgusted with both the AI Factory Limited developers for foisting this on us, and with Apple for permitting such abuse by the developers in the App Store.

Unexplained data
This is a good “live” game. It took me awhile to decipher what labels such as 25K, 1D, and 2D meant. They relate to one’s “win” achievements. It’s also nice to be able to look into the room to see who’s playing. The ranking data is a great addition., but the basis for awarding rating points is unclear. It would definitely be more interesting if there were a “chat” option for online play.
My main criticism is the annoying adds,….just wait it out and look for the faint, little “x”s. Also, I am fairly certain that the dice are not always random. I actually played a game where I knew what rolls were coming up because they were an exact repeat of the previous game, lol.

Big time cheater
Okay, I’ve counted to verify over an extended sample. This app does NOT use honest dice unless someone rewrote the laws of averages. The more difficult settings manipulate the dice rolls to make it harder to win. You will get approximately 6 2/1 rolls for every 6/6 roll. Also instead of a double every 6 rolls like you should get, it will be about 1 every 10 or 12 rolls instead. The app also is ridiculously stupid in late game situations. Accepts stupid doubles and proposes doubles even when it only needs one game to win for instance. Many other idiotic moves as well. Sheesh. Can anyone recommend a backgammon app that is both honest and intelligent in all game scenarios. I haven’t found one yet.

Why are the dice outcomes so questionable
Enjoy Backgammon (hate the background music), but why are these games all the same when it comes to the dice? Here’s a recent example. Just finished up a game where I had my opponent off the board and had only the 5 and 2 open. Guess what my opponent rolled? Yep, a 5 and a 2. I suppose that was ok - stuff happens. But, a moment later, I got him off the board again and this time I had the 2 covered, as well. Guess what the opponent rolled? Yup, double fives. Ok, ok...stuff happens. However, I immediately get him off the board again and guess what? Yup, he rolls double fives on the next roll, too. THAT IS NOT RANDOM. NO WAY, NO HOW!

A deceptive algorithm.
The algorithm for this program favors all those with a ‘D’ status - Ds will win the first roll 99% of the time, and their first roll will be one of the ideal combinations (6/6, 6/1, 6/5, 5/3,…etc) 95% of the time. Also, in the final moves, the Ds will throw the exact combination of numbers to win - 90% of the time. There are many more issues that prove that this game is manipulated to favor ‘certain’ players, without skill involved. I will not waste any more time with this program for a game I love!

Dice are definitely rigged
I’ve now played over 1000 games at level 5. All my games were against the computer. The dice statistics compiled by the game itself confirm that the dice rolls favor the computer. The statistics show that I rolled more double 1s, 2s, and 3s, and that the computer rolled more double 4s, 5s, and 6s. I enjoy playing Backgammon against a computer opponent, but I would sure like to find a game with truly random dice rolls.

Rigged dice
I have now played over 1000 games against the computer. I see in the statistics that the doubles are about the same in number but when the computer gets a double ,it’s at a more advantageous point in the game. Also when the computer is coming off the bar there is an uncanny ability to hit my blots.

But it cheats (won’t let you move a piece you should be able to move) and the count is off sometimes.

Not Random
The roll of the dice is not random. At level 5 it rolls whatever roll it needs. When bearing off it rolls two or three doubles while I get none except in situations when it would not effect the outcome. It would be a very good app if randomness were used with every roll.
