No complaints until it disappeared
My only wish was that it kept track of results. But that seems even more minor, since now I wish I could get more than a black screen. I was starting a game, an ad appeared (which happens every other game, but I'm OK with that) and when I closed it, the screen went black, except for a small display ad at the bottom. I guess I'll give it a little while to correct itself, and if nothing happens, I'll delete the app. I enjoy the game, but what's the point of keeping it if all it does is show a black screen with an ad for dermatology cream?

Hide Menu Bar?
Would be nice to be able to hide the menu bar while playing. Would also nice to be able to start a new game with a single tap.

Fast and smart AI - worth paying to get rid of ads
I’ve been playing Othello on this app for a few years and have played something like 10,000 games on it. This is a great version of Othello to build up some serious skill over time. I’ve beaten up to Level 22 both black and white without hints, undos, or handicaps. The AI is reasonably quick on iPhone SE and even faster on iPhone X. Great for a quick thinking game. Once the game is over, you can review your moves (just can’t undo them).

Not terrible, until ...
... thanks until the ads covered up the menu bar, making it impossible to play the game. I deleted the ad and had to play the usual Google Ads game (“Why did you delete it?” “Why don’t you want to see the ad again?”). They gave me an option, “Ad covered content,” which I selected—but it was all in the game. Google very politely said, “We won’t show that ad again” and replaced it with a Google Ads logo that—guess what—covered the menu bar.
I don’t know if this problem is the fault of the game makers or Google, but as it comes down to my relationship to the game, it’s all the same. Bye.

Best Othello AI yet. PERIOD.
If you want to get good at this game TS is the app to learn from.
The only con is that sometime the AI "thinks" way longer than it should need to when the best move is plainly obvious. I say this because I see it and long before the AI moves I'm yelling, "THERE!!!!! RIGHT THERE!!!!!" And then it eventually does move RIGHT THERE.
To the guy complaining the game is making you pass, I know it's been a long time but this might be helpful to others reading these reviews:
Passing in Othello is not a choice. You MUST pass if you have no possible moves, and that does happen. So that is not a glitch. The game is supposed to do that.

Game? Great! Header? Bad!
Since you can’t rotate screen, the area where you touch the option icons is too small. I have to aim very carefully if I want to get a new game started. Sometimes, (usually), it takes a couple of touches for the new game button to stop lighting up, then dimming without starting the next game. Other than that, the game offers a lot of skill levels, & realistic graphics. Fun to learn. Harder to master!

AI POWER
I have tried many different Othello apps but this one is by far the best. The apps doesn't look the greatest but makes it up by having the best AI around for all levels of players and many different features and settings others don't have. I have found no bugs.

I have to touch the screen 3 times to start a new game. Surely just a “new game” button is in order.

Actually challenging
I’m pretty good at Othello and I’ve been searching for a good app to practice. But all of them have been too easy. This is the only one that has a challenge and it’s a real challenge too. So bravo

Good game but…
So i think that this is a good game but it has one flaw and that is the passes me and my dad both got mad at it so please take it out.
