After the playing the free prologue, I immediately decided to buy it based on the story it offered. The art is beautiful and the voice acting is great. I love how much you come to learn about each of the characters and how they each have something they are dealing with in their personal lives. This really helps one to connect with each of them.

Although the story was intriguing, it did tend to drag out and become frustratingly boring and repetitive on many occasions. There were also times in which the the audio for the characters was missing. The ending left a lot of questions unanswered, so based on the player this could be a negative as it leaves you frustrated and yearning for more information after playing through multiple chapters, or a positive as it leaves it open for you to fill in the blanks and make theories based on what you were able to collect.

Overall I believe this is a great game that is worth playing. There was a lot of work put into it, and it really shows through the story, artwork, voice actors, and the little hidden treasures they have to offer.

The characters each glitter in their own fabulous way, and of course, while I’m more than partial to the likes of Ashton, Isabella, and or Zach, I won’t hesitate to tell you that the story is worth getting invested in. Humanity shines through in each character through a multi-faceted window into storytelling, and it really lights up the “human” in the horror genera. Without spoiling too much, it’s a plot you’d never expect.

Yes, the occasional cheap jump scares can be a bit predictable, but that only goes to show that the real star of the show- the true focus, if you will, is the characters behind the bigger picture.

I’m obviously a writer myself, and I love games like this because exploring the human qualities of a character is what makes the horror aspect really so impactful in the first place. You care when a character dies, and yet are forced to push on and see your decisions through to the end so as to explore new endings.

Regardless: “The Letter” has a great level of replay-ability, even if the dialogue does get a big boggy after the tenth play through. All you need is a few months and you can pick it up again like it’s nothing. It’s one of my favorite games, and I knew from the moment I picked it up that I was going to buy the rest of the chapters.

I even spent my birthday money on it!

You won’t regret it either way, and I know that 2-3 years after I first bought it, I don’t either.

This game is absolutely amazing. From the wonderfully made art to the in-depth story, I love this visual novel so much! There are many endings and the choices really do change a lot of aspects of the story. If you are like me, you will be wanting to get multiple endings and so a very useful feature is the skip button. It will skip over text that has already been read and it stops as soon as unread text appears so you don’t have to reread the entire thing, and can appreciate the new parts. Of course like most games and visual novels, you will have to pay for all chapters except the very first but it is VERY worth buying. The voice acting is well done. Also, there isn’t much gameplay other than occasional QTEs but it is a visual novel, so if you are really expecting some intense gameplay from a visual novel I don’t know how to help you bud. Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed this game and I’m looking forward to future projects!

I am really enjoying this visual novel! The art is outstandingly beautiful and the story is so wonderfully written! The characters are easy to relate to and you love reading about them. But the problem is when I go the read the journal entries they won’t “flip” to the next page and after that the game kinda freezes up and I can view any of the other entries. It’s rather annoying. And when I go to the relationships tab is does the same thing. It will “freeze” when I even touch the screen and it messes up the journal entries as well. Please fix this bug, it’s such a wonderful story, but this makes it so annoying to play.

This visual novel is so great it has such a great story line and the best characters to fall in love with and relate and or sympathise with them. I've known about the game since it came out on the app store but I have just recently gotten the time to buy all chapters. The only problem is that the game could have been much more better if the journal entries actually worked. Maybe it's a recent bug because I know that there was a time where I could read the journal entries without my screen freezing but now with this problem it kind of ruins that one unique feature to look at the days as u go along the chapters. If you could fix this that would be very appreciated thank you❤️

Soooooo funny story actually. I wrote a review, thinking this game was fake/stolen, which I now know it isn’t (thankfully!). Silly, tired me decided to research if the app was real AFTER i wrote a review. I found the link, which led me here. What threw me off was the fact that it was free and that only one chapter was available. I should’ve known that it’s gonna take time to get such a detailed (but amazing) game on here, but we all make mistakes haha. I apologize to the founder for jumping to conclusions and thank him for responding me and giving the correct info! I really do love this game and I can’t wait for the future updates! I recommend this game 100% to everyone! \(^o^)/

So the game is amazing! The story and the voices are wonderful.

I am still bummed out that there is no branching tree on the iOS version. I mean this game is so complex and I always feel like I’m missing something.

Also the epilogue is a bit anticlimactic, especially after that amazing dynamic of storylines and sometimes I just wanted more to Isabella’s route since it seemed so short. Maybe someday in the future there might be more detail to things going on in the background. For example, during Luke’s route, it feels like all the other characters aren’t even there with him in the house at the end. They don’t have any dialogue and kind of slipped into background noise. I would like totally pay more money for more chapters of what’s going on with all the characters throughout the entirety of the story just because everything is so wonderful to read and I think everyone has characters they prefer.

Just a little side suggestion from an avid fan.

Haven’t read a book in a while 😅 playing too many video games then an idea sparked. What if there was a combination of the two and here I am. I tried a couple others but weren’t nearly as good as this one. From the beginning the moment I seen the ghost in the mansion I was immediately hooked to see what’s next. Definitely a good story, funny characters and soon as the I have to pay for the rest I’m 1000 percent positive I definitely am. Highly recommended to anyone that genuinely enjoys reading or someone like me that should read more but too busy playing games lol

Around December time of 2019 I found this game and bought it without hesitation once I was done with the first chapter and that’s something I still don’t regret. Almost a year later and I still replay this game when I find myself having time, trying to get as many new outcomes and experiences as I can. The game is overall very well made and polished and I find myself wishing there was more material or games from the same group of creative minds! I’m excited to see what the future has in store.

I looked at the app happy that I found a right game for me I downloaded it and it was fun and hard but I loved it until the chapter ended then you had to use your money to continue! Or you could just do the same thing over and over again which I don’t like very much. I didn’t think the game would turn out as the WORST game I have ever played I don’t know why you would have to pay for it because what if someone is poor and is happy that they got a game they couldn’t spend money on until the end they would be upset as I am so I deleted the game if your reading this please make it priceless so you can do it I really want to play this game again
