Fun, but as everyone says, kind of unfair.
This game is fun, and I love it a lot. There is two things I want to cover, though. First, the premium membership is a little, well, expensive. May as well just have the game for a few days, rather than paying 5 dollars per month for 3 or more months. I would like the game more if the premium items were a one-time purchase, rather than a monthly thing. It will make the game more enjoyable, and keep everyone happier, as well as maybe getting you a little more money because it is more enticing. And the second thing: the elements you get by watching ads are not working for me. I don’t know if it is on your side or mine, but I have tried a lot of things that people have said would help, and I am still not getting any ads. So, if you could, please make it so the important items, such as metal and other materials used to make a basic but fun level, would at least cost mana instead of videos, because I know of other people who have had the same problem as I had, and it will improve my experience as well as others. If you can, you could just let them be free, not costing anything at all, but that is your choice. The game is very fun, and I love it a lot, there are just those two things in the way of my 5-star review. Please think about them.

Great game, somewhat obnoxious subscription model
I’ve been following The Sandbox God games for many years now, and recently redownloaded Evolution as it’s essentially a heavily improved rework of their original. I came to the unfortunate realization that they’ve restricted a large amount of the content I was excited for to a $5 monthly subscription.
I loved their old revenue model, they used to have it so you can only earn X% of the total cost it’d be to buy every single element, and then had the remaining be obtainable by buying the paid storylines and earning mana by playing those missions. I may be slightly misremembering, but it was something along those lines.
The pay $5 a month is a very inconvenient model especially for players like me who may not play consistently for months at a time, I know their old system wouldn’t work the same with how they’ve made mana much more available, but I’d love to see some sort of system that allows players like me to unlock more content permanently, even if we have to pay some money along the way. Great game, but I have no intention of paying on a subscription for any iphone app that isn’t music. I already spent enough of my parents’ money on your games as a kid ;)

Just a money maker...
To the players: Don’t play this game if you don’t have a hefty wallet. Only a very select few elements in the game are 100% free. Some you can watch ads for. Most you have to use “mana” to get. You don’t have much of it to start and there aren’t many ways of getting more of it besides buying it. There is a premium membership which unlocks many of the cooler elements, but it’s 4.99 a month. That already pushes many of the elements behind a pay wall. So again, don’t get the game if you aren’t willing to pay for its enjoyment. It’s free to download, but not really very fun for long without cash.
To the developer: why have tons of ads, over reliance on in-app purchases, and a premium membership??? I played this a while back and half the things you’ve got in the premium were things anyone could get. I don’t even understand why you even need a premium membership when you have ads and in app purchases making revenue... it makes this game extremely hard to enjoy without shoveling out loads of cash to get the things I want to play with. In Regards to the Pac-Man DLC
I'm a Pac-Man fan who's played quite a few of the many different games in the series, Pac-Mania and Pac-Man Arrangement being my two favorites, and seeing a Pac-Man level editor really had me interested. The DLC itself offers plenty of different Ghosts and mechanics, so I was quite sure I would sink quite a few hours messing around and creating plenty of mazes. However, after making my $3.99 purchase I found that the DLC contains some pretty aggravating bugs that practically defaults the whole game mode. The grid and pathways are somewhat unintuitive as they keep bugging out sometimes when erasing and for some odd reason all the other assets (Pac-Man, Ghosts, etc) refused to be placed within the normal length of the Pac-Man grid barriers. I'm not too sure how to explain the problem exactly but it almost seems like the walls and the rest of the mechanics exist on two separate grids. This wouldn't be too big of a deal if it wasn't for the fact that none of the ghosts seem to work when placed the way they are. The four ghosts placed automatically work completely fine, but any ghosts placed by me just simply do not move. I'm not sure whether or not these problems will be addressed, as apparently the game hasn’t been updated in roughly a year, but if I'm wrong and updates do come back again I would be more than appreciative if these glitches were fixed quickly (Especially for something that I payed money for).

Wonderful game
(ORIGINAL POST:) Do not let the three stars misguide you - this is a wonderful game. I love this game so much that I’ve bought the premium and all elements pack. However, when I bought Premium, I saw a small problem that could easily be fixed. When uploading a level as a premium member, the level is automatically set to premium only. As a level creator, this reduces my potential audience and feedback from other players since only a fraction of the community can play my levels and is premium. I searched up a solution to this, but to my dissatisfaction, there was no way to switch it. I would give this game a definite five stars if a mechanic were added where premium members can make their levels premium or not premium. If the review team is reading this, I’d love it if you added this feature in. Otherwise, this is a wonderful game.
EDIT 1: The game is also somewhat bugged since the new update - redirectors in dungeons are automatically set down when loaded in a saved world, and many elements that are premium are still locked for me. What I said above is still the same.

But when you PAY $5 A MONTH AND GET NOTHING IN RETURN, YOU GET IN KIND OF A GRUMPY MOOD! No, not grumpy, FRUSTRATED.
Seriously, developers, it’s almost like you left and completely abandoned the game altogether other than keeping the server for it going, you aren’t reading feedbacks anymore, you aren’t doing anything. This was months ago when I had this problem, and what did I do? I unsubscribed and subscribed to see if that would fix the problem, it didn’t, it made me lose every premium privilege instead of just not being able to use one premium character. I can’t make entities, use premium elements, the Druidess character, and many other things. The only things I could use were the other premium characters and the sorcerer boss.
I’ve decided to permanently unsubscribe since you haven’t fixed this problem, I’d ask for a full refund of every subscription payment I’ve made, but I’m not going to do that, you probably need it to fix the problem or you’re too greedy to compensate your customers for neglecting your product. You’re losing another star for this, my last review was to let you know there was a problem, now it’s to either give you one last chance to fix your mistake, or to warn others and keep them from downloading the app.

A big problem in a big game
I’ve been with this game since the beginning, and seeing it get bogged down more and more by micro transactions has legitimately made me sad. I left it for quite a while once Karma was removed, and when I came back, I realized that there was a premium membership. This THING. I can’t enjoy tons of things that I formerly needed Karma for. Sure it got converted into mana, which was helpful, but not being able to play the new levels really bogged it down. I had some Premium items when I came back, but those were far and few between. Also, having levels that you can only play with membership was a bad idea. I constantly see great looking levels being locked behind a micro transaction wall. Also, just replying “we’re working on it” won’t work. I’ve seen the new updates, and with ads and promo features as well, why need a premium membership? Oh I know. You’re just greedy. You want the cash. So either remove Premium all together, make it still there but make it unlocked when you make an account, or just delete the game all together if you don’t want your “hard earned cash” to keep coming. It seems you might be being plagued by the EA syndrome of having a decent-good game but ruining it with micro transactions everywhere.

When this game first came out, I played it all the time and found it very fun to just relax on. Coming back to it a few years later, I’m very disappointed as to where the game has gone. It is now 90% micro transactions. You can’t play most of the game without paying money and getting started is hard without paying or putting an unreasonable amount of time into a game that isn’t even worth it. Exploring some of the new packs and game modes, this game went from a creative building game to something it simply, isn’t. It’s trying way to hard to add game modes like ones that are puzzles and one that’s a side scroll running game which half of them are locked behind premium anyway and are very poorly made (for example your character stops running or they seem to just die by the hands of nothing). This game is supposed to be about being creative and mixing elements and making your own little systems but the most fun and creative game modes are locked behind a premium $5 monthly subscription along with a big chunk of the elements. I’m very disappointed as to the path this game has taken and I’m sorry it’s been corrupted by EA devs (that’s a joke as EA is also seen as greedy and money-hungry). Long story short, unless you’re willing to pay $5 a month or are looking for poorly made versions of other games, this really isn’t worth the download

A truly unique game.
I really like this game because it’s is unique in a way: it doesn’t spam ads on you when you die or something. I like it because it really annoys me when the game just says “Looks like you died, better load up another ad” but this game, no. This game is like “looks like you died, better NOT load ad because this is a good game” which is really good because if you do, you will get a bunch of “This game has more ads than gameplay” that’s why I like this game. -yaboy (I’ll change my name) Oh wait I forgot to include a funny glitch that needs a patch : the Shrek Ground Pound Glitch. It happens with the big Meme Master Shrek when you do this on a trampoline flower, first you rapidly ground pound on it with Shrek. After a while, you will float when you stop ground pounding. this will never stop until, Here comes the Math part. When Shrek Hits a object or touches the top of the screen or if you just press the speed move button (I don’t know the name.) even know this will cause some levels be impossible like a level I made called shrek glitch. So warn the Creators before you do this. (I actually Kind of like this glitch)
