Its not bad
11 year old approved. I just started playing this game today and I got to day 14 and I'm still going. But so far i think its stupendous. Why do I think its stupendous? Because each day I get to build and fight to help my village grow and survive and its very exciting. But I did not give it all 5 stars because i had a few problems. The first problem there needs to be the choice to use a good tutorial, second I wanted to play with my friend but I could not. I don't like a hero system where you have to spend money. It makes it unfair for the people who are rich. Now I am going cry. The end.

Not good for mobile
Too much going on with no clear directions. Would be better suited for a pc game. I would constantly try to click my warrior to move them, but one of them keeps running off for no reason, and my fingers are too big to select the small selection box for the individual characters.
The game also describes itself in a way that everything is free but option in app purchases. Which is technically true, but every time you load your game or start a new one, it shows an unskipable ad of at least 20s. Which is a little annoying when you accidentally close out of the app or make a mistake on the game mode you chose (or anything that requires you to continue/start again within minutes).
Sorry, but not what I was hoping for and on top of that, not user friendly enough to encourage more playtime. (From me... I’m sure many people still like this game)

Game is amazing ..but..
Game is amazing but needs an update, I feel like adding different biomes and enemies would be amazing and many some more wild life as well , like wolfs and bears , and (this is just an opinion) but add habitats for the wild life as well like caves and dens . I love the game I just feel like it needs more to it I see real potential for this game , I love the fact that you can control your units on this I can actually be apart of the battle that’s amazing! If you happen to see this review plz take my comment and thoughts into consideration

Fun but, game feels unfinished
This is a really fun game that has a great potential! But it lacks some things maybe some walls a little tutorial would help, I want to be able to 1v1 my friend. I genuinely don’t like the hero system I understand you guys are trying to make money but making mostly all hero’s only obtainable by ads or money isn’t cool. A currency would be cool after a loss or victory you earn some of this currency and use that to unlock hero’s. It would keep the player in in gauged in the game wanting to keep playing to unlock new hero’s! Just my opinion

Awful game
It has a lot of potential with the design but Herod are completely pay to win and ads play about every minute for at least 20 seconds. When controlling a specific hero I couldn’t turn in a certain direction. The game is buggy, not clear, pay to resemble a good time, you have little time to prepare for waves at night even though more enemies come than it says, and for some reason about 35 varied enemies attacked my base without warning or being part of a wave including a dragon which I didn’t even compare with since it was one of the first few days. I wouldn’t recommend getting this game as is but in the future I think it could have a lot of potential and even become a really fun pc/ console game as well as mobile.

This game should be way more popular than it is. It’s absolutely amazing. Full game for free as well. No Iap needed. They should charge for this game. Besides machines at war this is the best rts on the App Store to date hands down. So glad I found this. If they continue to update this I can’t even imagine how far it will go. Rts like Starcraft air etc resource management large armies taking over of other bases troop and building upgrades really impressed and will be buying things in game to support this game. Thank you for putting out a rts on iOS it was so badly needed.

Bombarded with ads immediately. You tap single player & choose the only free character that doesn’t require watching an ad. But you get an ad thrown in your face anyways, without the extra reward of course.
No tutorial. Seems like everything requires ads & $money$. You get ads randomly as well (no rewards for watching these random ones).
I would like to assume without ads this might be a fun game. I don’t care for pvp but the single player was initially intriguing. That is until ads ruined the experience & lack of “how to”.
It’s not a hard game to understand, but a “this building gives you extra resources” or whatever would be nice.

With a lot of games they are like “hey here’s a good deal check it out” or they have the little “deal” emblems on the side of the screen.

Well the game itself is absolutely amazing. Fantastic idea and a bunch of options of different play styles. Many many game modes to fit your needs. One thing I will say is in my first pvp match I found a glitch when selling anything the building stays yet I get the rewards from selling. So I just spam sell on a tower and get max materials within 2 seconds. Great fun for me. Unfortunate for others. Please fix soon as I myself enjoy a fair game. Thank you and please continue to update and fine tune the mechanics of this game!!!

Forced ads but good game
Would be a 5 star game easy. Forced ads are very short, not too often, but often enough to merit losing a star rating. I’d pay to remove ads if possible. Minor annoying bug; hero gets selected without taping him or hero button sometimes when taping villagers or resources. Game could use a multiplayer function and more of age of empires mechanics like ages and more research. Lastly; would be nice if you could research more than 1 thing per research building instead of needing 5 to learn all 5 perks.
