The device plugs in and lights up, but multiple attempts to “find the device” have resulted in nothing. It claims it is backing up, for a nanosecond, and no files are actually downloaded. iOS 16 on a iPhone 14. Complete waste of money. Have you cleared this with Apple?? They are obviously blocking all attempts to do this as my iCloud was spinning, and NOT the photo stick device. Furthermore, the screenshots you put in the app don’t match what’s happening on my iPhone. For instance, after selecting the photo stick, which has a different icon than shown, there is NO option to then go back to the main menu. It automatically opens up a folder and if I hit the back button on top of the app page, it appears to then I select the device. Back to the drawing board! I want a refund. Ridiculous price for what you get. Shameful.

The first time I plugged it in my phone was not recognizing the device. After several restarts I finally got the red light on the photo stick. I followed the same instructions as before but this time it said it was downloading pictures. It got to 13% and it lost its connection even know it was not moved or touched. After that, back to square one no red light despite several reboots and reinstalls of the app. So disappointed in this expensive device that is useless. And yes I followed the instructions, and yes it was properly plugged in. I would not recommend this product.

I don’t know what these other people are doing, but mine works great. Follow the instructions. I admit I tried to use it first on the iPad and I think I didn’t give it enough time after it downloaded and said review the pictures. So tried it on the phone. Worked great, then the iPad, again works great. I keep checking because people say that they lose the files. It’s all good. The only thing I can see is when you are looking at the pictures, you’re not able to scroll through the file. You have to use the back button and tap the next picture. Not ideal but, not a deal breaker.

Got my Photostick Omni this morning. I’d previously downloaded the app to make sure I had all the instructions beforehand so that I knew exactly what to do when it arrived. Followed the easy to understand steps and it took awhile (maybe 12 minutes) but I was able to download 1,431 pics and 37 videos without any problems. All of them are now viewable on the Photostick. Love it and will be recommending it to family and friends!!!

Bought a 256GB device and it failed before getting even 40% of the way through a backup of my 128GB iPhone. With the device plugged in, it is recognized on the device list, but when I try to resume the backup, it asks me if my device is securely plugged in and tells me I need to select the device. Over and over. Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

And seeing some of the other “follow the directions” reviews, I did follow the directions. It still doesn’t work and those people just got lucky with a faulty product.

For the umpteenth time I have spent an hour plus trying to get this product to work for me! As with the previous reviewer, the only troubleshooting and/or satisfaction one gets is to shut off one’s phone and begin again and/or to check the apparatus and see that it is plugged in all the way!
My iPhone is brand new and this app and this product does not give me any more satisfaction that I got from my older iPhone! I have seven photos downloaded and even deleting the app doesn’t change that so the app has a memory, but the item doesn’t work!

I purchased this device with hopes of clearing space on my older iPhone! This device absolutely does not work as I’d hoped! Since purchasing, I’ve had to reformat twice and reach out to customer service twice. I plug it into my phone and it shows that my phone is reading the device but does not give me the option to select the device as the handy dandy instructions suggest! I was excited to get now I’m looking at other options that are easier to use! I want a refund.

Initially everything worked, it downloaded about 30% of my photos and then shut down. The iPad wouldn’t recognize the Stick. I can plug the stick into a PC and it recognizes the stick and the transferred photos using the stick alone or with the adapter. Using my PC I only used about 5% of the Stick capacity. I deleted the app and reinstalled it on my iPad and the app will not recognize the stick at all. The stick and adapter appear OK but the app is awful. What a waste of money. Never buy the PhotoStick or use this app.

My first attempt failed before completion. I figured it was going I order but the photos and videos it backed up were selected randomly from the roughly 3k photos on my phone so it was impossible to easily figure out which ones it backed up and which it didn’t. So I decided to start over again but it never connected again. Been trying for 2 days. It’s getting returned and I’ll never buy another one. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

Doesn't work as easily as the website says. Instructions are not clear on the website or the quick start guide. After backing up my photos it said 4 files could not be downloaded but it's impossible to tell which files it couldn't download, then I still cannot find an efficient way to delete the files on this device as I don't want to select one by one and delete. No wonder their ratings are so poor.
