Thingiverse Hack 1.2.2 + Redeem Codes

This app was perfect to search for and save (to my Thingiverse account) projects/models to download and print later

I found the app a more convenient way to do this on mobile than the Thingiverse mobile website, just open the app, search and save, then when I get on my computer, I can just log into my Thingiverse account and download everything I saved... Great!

Imagine my surprise when I go to open up the app one day and do a search... To find NOTHING, I’m wondering, based on my search term, there’s got to be SOMETHING... But NOPE!

So just as a test, I search for something I already searched for before, something I know there is a LOT of on Thingiverse... Aaaaand NOTHING!

I then redo my searches on the Thingiverse website, and BAM, there it is, no problems searching

That’s right, this app doesn’t even work anymore, completely dead, it won’t even connect, so ALL searches come up as 0 and NULL

But wait, there MUST be an update, right? I mean this a obviously a bug in the app, and others must have it to, obviously Thingiverse knows about this an plans to fix it, right?

Well, it’s been over a year now and I haven’t seen any updates whatsoever, they are clearly ignoring this issue, THEY DON’T EVEN CARE

As things are now, don’t waste your time downloading this app, it won’t work, and it never will

I love Thingiverse and use it all the time to upload objects and to print. However, the app leaves me frustrated constantly. I would love to post makes using my phone but there are soo many bugs, glitches, and crashes on iOS that it’s impossible to use effectively. There are many prints I would upload if it would work. Please either remove the app from the App Store or support the app with regular updates to address the many problems. Thingiverse is such a great platform through the computer but please support the mobile platform too! It has the potential to be a must have app for anyone who has a 3d printer but at the moment it’s not up to snuff.

This app makes it easy for me to take pictures of my 3D prints with my phone, then quickly post them with a short description to the thingiverse.
Allowing me to get my designs online quick, easy sharing to all my social accounts, & gets me right back to 3D Designing/Printing!
Another thing that is awesome is you can view everything on the site and save it to a category you can specify. When you change what your looking for you can change the category it is saved to then when it's time to print the models are easy to find!

I love this app and would completely recommend it to anyone who does 3D printing or 3D modeling because its mobile thingiverse but a few weeks ago it just stopped working I’m guessing that they decided they didn’t want maintain the app anymore so they just stopped which is a shame I’m not a professional 3D printer person or anything but i love to 3D print and this app made it easy that when I’m not at home on my computer i could quickly open up and find a model that i need and save so i can print it later so I don’t forget about it and. Know i can use the website on my phone still but the app made it so much more convenient and now I can’t do it as well if it worked i would recommend it to anybody but since it stopped its just dumb

So I used your website a lot since I got a printer and have made countless prints off of it. So I was a bit excited to learn that Thingiverse was made into an APP. There are some thing I would like to constructively criticize. Or something like that. But one major feature I saw missing was a search bar for looking up things and designs. And I do love the idea of a whole separate app for this community. Another thing is when you first open the app there should be an option to create an account too instead of just signing in. I love thingiverse and I can’t wait to see how this app develops and what it’ll grow into. I hope this helps and thanks for reading this

Pros:
Easily post anything. The app does this right you hit post in the tip right and click which type of post but on the website you have to almost jump through hoops this is the only reason I didn’t give 1 star
Cons:
Uploading: as I said it’s easy to post but it’s buggy actually uploading your post I can have full LTE coverage and every other app work but I can’t actually upload for some reason
App design: overall it’s just poor design my home page is half blank this should be a great app and I can really see how the developers intended to give the app a social media feel and I like it that way but it feels incomplete.

Could you guys please update this app? I love Thingiverse with a passion! but it drives me crazy how well it doesn’t work on my iPhone XS Max, the most frustrating thing is this search bar, to me what good is browsing for what you need if you can’t search for it! every time I search it tells me it found hundreds of items but all it shows is 1 item titled null and so I click on it and it doesn’t load anything....ever! until I eventually get frustrated waiting and just go to my desktop because I’m tired of waiting on nothing, can anybody help this issue

This app is amazing. It's great how are you can sync up your app with the website itself. The only problem is that you can not view your designs in 3D. Don't pay attention to the people who say the app is worthless because they are a bunch of non-designers who don't have anything to do with the 3D Printing community. Even if you don't know anything about 3D printing, you can still benefit from other's designs.

I was so excited when I saw there was an app and have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get over all of the bugs and lack of information options. When your looking at a thing and try to go back into your search results the screen only goes half way back and your stuck guessing what everything is for the rest of your search. The License tabs NEVER works, and there is no way to get from the app to the web page to look up all of the information you can’t find in the app. Great potential but very frustrating as is.

Love this app! If you are into 3D printing, weather you own a printer or not, you will love this app. Thingiverse is an online community of 3D printer and 3D design lovers, all of which are sharing their designs with you! I have found so many cool designs: airsoft pistols, self-watering plant pots, carabiners, and so many more designs! You can also publicize your own designs and get feedback, likes and support on your design! It's great! Let's you download designs in Zip, Obj, and Stl files as well. 5 Stars!!
