This Thread Learning by CentralReach release contains file upload and storage, Interval Focus Mode, improved ABC Data, international date formats, and the ability to self-upload curriculum.

The following new features and product updates have been released in Thread Learning by CentralReach:

Clinical files can be uploaded to learners’ profiles, allowing providers to download and view important documents pertaining to the student. The goal is to eventually provide parental access to files the user chooses to share.

Introducing “ABC Data,” for web and mobile, which allows users to:

Collect ABC data on a student across all products.

Associate ABC Data with a particular behavior program in Thread and define the behavior as data is collected.

View a student’s data in aggregate or filter to data associated with particular behavior.

Introducing “Interval Focus Mode,” which allows users to view more information about an interval program and return to old intervals and change values. Users can access this by selecting the magnifying glass during data collection.

Dates on graphs can now be set to international standards. The current mm-dd (e.g., 02-13) format can be changed to dd-mm (e.g., 13-02).

Organizations can now upload custom curriculum for their organization. Currently, an organization can only choose between default curriculum, a paid curriculum like CR Elements, or a custom curriculum.

To switch to a custom curriculum, contact your CR representative to enable custom curriculum for the organization.

Once a custom curriculum is enabled, navigate to the curriculum page for more information on downloading the Excel file, inputting curriculum, and then uploading the file.

Currently, there is a limit of 2,000 curriculum templates when uploading, however if your custom curriculum has more than 2,000 templates, contact your CR representative.

The “Start a Session” page is now in alphabetical order instead of the date of last run.

The following bugs were fixed:

When entering a data point with a denominator that does not match the typical number of trials in a program, the issue causing the percent correct to display wrong has been resolved.

When assigning students to users, the issue causing the pop-up to display incorrectly has been resolved.

J.J.Y00,
Terrible to use
I have been using Thread since it’s beta era. I loved the old Thread and love their website. BUT I hate hate hate this new app. I cannot even log in to use the app to begin with. My therapists are losing data as someone things are not syncing. Old mastered targets are showing up again as new targets. Criteria shown on the program did not match across the information on the graph and on the program description. I no longer can see the date the program was last run. I don’t know why they had to discontinue the old app. It was working fine and was user friendly, but now everything is so complicated. I really wanted to love the new updates but now I can’t even deal with this app anymore…. Very sad and stressful
Goldnexception,
Don’t fix what isn’t broken.
Taking away the other Thread app was the worst thing this company could have done. It’s honestly like you took all things good about the old app and threw it out the window, because who needs software that works quickly and efficiently?? That just makes WAY too much sense!! This “new” app is just the web version, which is slow, glitchy, and inefficient to say the least. It’s inefficiency slows down sessions to the detriment of the client. Instead of “actively compiling” suggestions and complaints to address, JUST BRING THE OLD APP BACK!!

Network error
The app doesn’t work anymore. Whenever I open the app it says “network error” and that I need to connect to the internet. I’m connected the internet. I am forced take data via their website now. Not that I liked this app to begin with, but it did help me from graphing all the time.
Jonny_Renegade1,
Junk compared to old app
The original Thread was AMAZING! So intuitive and user friendly. This is ugly, hard to navigate, not intuitive and frankly a pain. We went back to collecting data on paper.
Tinytower pro,
Much easier to use
Now that we can tell when a program was last run it makes it less time consuming to run programs.
taylorsy81,
Worse Update EVER!!!!
This app is the worst! The old app worked fine. I would give this app a negative 10. I have had the worse time inputting data over the past 2 days.
