FINALLY an app that’s more than templates
Loving this app for many reasons but above all, it’s based on solid movements that are framed or programmed to meet specific goals. A lot of app claim to do this but if you study their workouts closely and match it up to what real trainers do in person, this app has the rest beat. Videos are excellent for form providing several view angles and TEMPO is noted - the one thing has made all the difference for me in building muscle

Good overall, but has room for improvement.
I gave this app a try and found the different routines a great feature. I feel the variation between each focuses gave me a chance to explore new exercises. It’s also nice that I don’t have to manually put together a routine like on other apps. As for meal plans, not the most exciting, I tried a few but didn’t quite like it. So I don’t really use that feature.

Here are some things that could be improve:

1. Since Mike specify tempo, I work out with a metronome playing in the background to keep pace, it would be nice to integrate this feature into the already existing running timer at the top of the workout screen, to play the tick sound counting the seconds.

2. A built-in rest timer would be nice. Again, another feature to keep the pace of the workout.

3. In weight tracking, the integer scroller does not support decimals when you workout in imperial units. Not a big deal, I just round down for conservatism, but would be nice for accuracy to support 0.5lb. increments.

4. Also using a scroller to select weight is kind of annoying especially when the weight is high. Maybe an input field to directly enter weight would be a better option.

5. Mike’s video content is full of great information. I’d like to be able to consume these at double speed, but there’s no option to speed up videos. He speaks nice and slow, but too slow for my liking.

Generally love this app, but it only allows for five weeks of routine.
I love the app because it helps track my progress in both data (weights/reps) and photos of my body over time. It offers some exercises I’ve not tried before which is great. My biggest complaint is that the app only allows you to have five weeks of workouts. After you’ve completed five weeks? Nothing. No mew weeks can be added. No new exercises, tracking, etc. frustrating to enjoy the app so much only to find that you cannot use it anymore because of a glitch? Because of a design flaw? Please make this change. I will not continue to pay for an app I cannot use. Thanks!

My opinion
I’ve only been using the Thirst app for a couple days. My main concern is customer support. The first problem I have was it was putting all my way it’s in kilograms not pounds even after I switched it to pounds, so that was very hard for me.
Second is when I start a workout program let’s say I did chest and triceps yesterday and I started the app today and the first workout. It gives me a chest and triceps. There’s no way to quickly switch to something else like legs or back and buys or shoulders. other than that, I love the videos I love the training sessions. I love the teaching sessions.

App Has Bugs and Needs Work
I have enjoyed the workout plans so far. It’s elevated my workout and emphasis on tempo has been my favorite. I needed something like this.

However, it still need a a lot of work. The rest timer sound does not work. The reps/sets glitch and randomly input random variables. The percentage completion glitches a lot. If you accidentally close the app, your erase your time for workout. Explanations for tempo need work. For example, what is difference between X and 0? I hope Mike cares to make continuous updates rather than using the app to pool another source of income. It could easily be an amazing app.

Awesome app
The amount of work that went into this app is staggering. This app is super thorough and contains a huge amount of info. Easy to use in the gym. Not a lot of silly extras during your session to worry about. Lots of extras to study on and get into when you’re not in the gym. I usually never leave reviews on apps but just couldn’t let this one by. Priced perfectly in my opinion. We’ll done Mike and crew!

Buggy app
Has good training workouts for what’s available and enjoy the meal guides but needs some serious work and not what you’d expect to be paying some serious money for. 1) If you sign up for the men’s guides, there is a bug where it will switch you over to the females. Tech support refuses to acknowledge that it is a bug when it clearly is. 2) meal plans are not exactly budget friendly, hopefully that’s changed soon. 3) Hoping to see more workout plans added and maybe more than just 5 week plans as well. Biggest complaint is bad technical support and refusal to fix the glitches.

I was skeptical!
I was skeptical at first especially since finally coming back to the gym after several years, but after a few weeks of following this app (push, pull, legs) 5x a week I’m seeing results and I’m feeling great. I haven’t tried any of the other features but I assume they’re just as great.

Full of bugs
I’ve been using this app for 4 months and this past month the app has been full of bugs that make tracking ur progress nearly impossible. It’s really slowing me down at the gym, a spreadsheet might be easier at this point.

Would give this app a solid 4 stars for great workouts for a good price. But.. the UI/UX is really that bad.

Also, the in app feedback modal doesn’t let you leave feedback in the App Store. If you click that you aren’t liking the app it redirects you to their website.

I love this app but new update is bad
I truly love this app, I use it every workout and find it extremely helpful to keep track of my lifts, but the new update completely screwed up the weight tracking and now when I try to type in 135 it comes up at 134 and all the numbers are wrong.
