- New Practice Mode: replay specific level sections without getting a score or rank
- Improved “Restart from Checkpoint” feature: restart from any previous checkpoint (not just current or previous). NOTE: you can only restart from any previous checkpoint on new level playthroughs after updating and not on playthroughs from before this update.
- Fixed “phantom turns” that can appear under certain conditions in Level 6-9.
- Checkpoint score/rank tally is displayed at the end of the final section of Level 9 if the level has been previously completed. This helps those attempting to S-rank Level 9.

- Fixed potential hang that can occur when spamming the pause button at the end of a level, just before the score tally screen
- Fixed visual issues on pause menu when the game scene is partially faded out

Diddians,
Just Missing One Thing
Love this game, played it on PC a while back and when I saw that it had been ported to iPad I immediately jumped on it. The graphics are great and the game runs smoothly, plus the game itself is so so satisfying (the best rhythm game that I have played except for Beat Saber). There is only one thing I want from this though… Add support for keyboards! I have the iPad Pro and I got the Apple Magic Keyboard with it, and I miss being able to play this with keyboard controls. The magic keyboard is already so integrated into iPad OS, it shouldn’t be too hard to add support for this too, would it?
Waterbob0303,
Good concept, not for touchscreen at all
In the end, it all came down to struggling with the touchscreen controls — this isn’t supposed to be the real challenge of the game, sadly.

This game is great. It is intentionally designed to be hard and the fun is to challenge your reflectivity during the high-speed rush. Everything is cool except that you HAVE to use a controller or keyboard to manage everything. Your mistakes are only tolerated down to a window of less than one second which is way below the sensitivity of touch screen gestures. There is simply no way to make your swipes faster than the game allows, not to mention that you NEED to chain many such swipes in a perfect stream in order to move on since level 3. So if you really like this game, go play it on a PC or console, not on an iPhone or iPad.

PS: I knew the game supports Bluetooth controllers. But who would actually use a controller on a cellphone to play a game. Lol
Moxygrl37,
High learning curve - even the tutorials
I would love this game , but even with the tutorials the gestures are super unclear. I went as far as to google them. The “jump and pound” feature tutorial in level 3…. I followed the countdown for like 20 min….. got it to work once. The learning curve is high… it’s a game I would totally be into, but either the game is not as responsive as it should be with the iPhone, or it’s not easy enough to play. I can’t tell if there’s a lag between gustier input, but it kinda feels that way. Otherwise I’d give it a better review. And I’ve played Hexaflip, where the gestures input time is integral in game play, and it wasn’t a problem- so I feel like the app might need work. Otherwise I would have given the game itself 5 stars. The tutorials need work and probably the the app itself.
Foxbear5,
This game is PERFECT for a level creator
Most games are fit for a level creator but THIS GAME, would be PERFECT GAME FOR LEVEL CREATOR! The level creator in this game (would) be even BETTER THAN WORLDBOX!!!!!!
And if you ask me, i'd say that worldhox holds the top level creator right now, but you could possibly TAKE OVER THAT POPULARITY!!!!! With one simple level creator (you get to pick if it's a circle or triangle boss but the game picks which final boss depending if it's your 1st level, 2nd level, etc.) This game could possibly have the most popular level creator and you would make possibly (POSSIBLY!) Make $100 A DAY from your non-🍎🕹thumper just because of level creator
BobbyRoyale,
Nearly Perfect
I’m absolutely loving this game. The music, rhythm, and arcade action make for one of the best mobile gaming experiences I’ve had. And it would be nearly perfect if not for the lack of level selection.

I can’t select sub-levels and this is just exhausting. I’m trying to S rank each level and if I want to go back to attempt something like 4-23, I can’t! I have to go through all of level 4 again and that’s just exhausting.

I hope they update this soon.
Israelu,
Not for m me
Well, I guess this one isn’t for me. I tried to like it. I kept going back over and over hoping I’d finally “get it”, but no. Bottom line, I just can’t the hang of the controls. As basic as they technically are, I even looked them up online (which the very fact I had to do that constitutes a fundamental design fail), and even “knowing” what I’m meant to do, there’s an utter disconnect between those supposed touch gestures and the actual gameplay. Oh well - the game has enough excellent reviews to drive the point that to each their own.
The second star in my rating is for production/design quality. The game really is very pretty.

Perfect
This is by far the best music game I have ever played. It feels so luxurious and fantastic, with all the monochromatic fluctuating designs. Something others may not like is the extremely steep learning curve. It will take much trial and error to get through.

A bug that I have is that I am not earning any achievements after I beat level 2. I have an S rank on levels 1 through 3, but I only have the achievements for beating level 1 and 2. Please fix this bug, thank you!
bit by bitz,
5 stars but 4 just to note about a problem
Okay, so I’ve had this game for a while now. Everything about this game is PERFECT! But there’s one slight issue, When you press down, it works fine. But if you swipe up, left. Or right, the beetle has a slight delay that could make you loose between it turning and you swiping. I’m on touchscreen, I have no problems but this and I continue to make things like this. Please calibrate the sensitivity if you can 😄

Amazing game
Definitely a must play for anyone who enjoys rhythm games. The difficulty is very well balanced, considering you can play it on your phone, console, or PC. I have noticed an issue with achievements though. Recently I have been going for S rank on all levels, and have made it through to level 5. I checked my profile and S rank didn’t show up for levels 1-4 despite me doing them. Still one of my favorite mobile games.
GandalfTheGray,
Fantastic music and art, control sensitivity could be improved
I love this game. As good as the original. Sometimes I noticed my interactions were not being registered. Or maybe that’s the intentional sensitivity level for difficulty? Still pretty enjoyable 🙌 Can be rather difficult to play if you have sweaty fingers though lol
