Description

Timeglass has everything you need to time exercise, study, cooking, and your other daily routines. Timeglass gives you:

● Many timers, side by side - Create reusable timers and run them side by side. Maybe you want to do a workout while timing a roast in the oven. No problem! Timeglass has you covered.

● Multi-stepped timers - Timers can have multiple steps, where each step has its own duration. This is great for workout routines and cooking.

● Spoken timers - Want to know what's up next without looking at your phone? Timeglass will talk you through your stepped timers so you can stay focused on whatever you're doing.

● Timer widget - Start and view your timers from any widget screen, or from 3D Touching the app icon. You can even use this to see your timers while your phone is locked.

● Pre-built timers - A library of forty timers to choose from, covering fitness, home & lifestyle, productivity, relaxation, and cooking.

● Lots more awesome stuff - Like stopwatches, repeating alerts, beautiful tones & icons for your timers, plus five themes to choose from.

1.1.7

Hi all! This is a bugfix and performance release that should improve notifications, as well as the widget presentation.
1.1.6
2017-09-28
Hi all! This is a small update that fixes VoiceOver for iOS11 users, as well as re-ordering steps within multi-step timers.
1.1.5
2017-09-25
Hi all! This update brings compatibility with iOS 11, including a rewrite of our notifications which should also improve notification reliability for iOS 10 users.
1.1.4
2016-11-15
Hi all! Thanks for all the great feedback. This update contains two of the most requested features:

1) You can now disable the low volume warnings.
2) If a timer or step ends while the app is open, you now get a short vibration, in addition to the alert sound.

A few users are experiencing problems with notifications in iOS 10. We're sorry about this, and hope Apple's next update resolves this. Until then, installing Timeglass may help - Unfortunately this one is out of our hands.
1.1.3
2016-10-23
Hi all! We've been paying attention to your feedback. Version 1.1 contains your top 3 feature requests:

1) We now have a widget! You can access this from any widget screen, or using 3D Touch on iOS 10. The widget shows running timers, gives you a way to start your favourite timers, and you can even view it without unlocking your phone.
2) Skip between steps
3) We've added 40 pre-built timers, from workouts to relaxation tools to productivity hacks

Version 1.1.1 Makes it obvious that timer names are optional, and fixes a bug with Chinese character input.

Version 1.1.2 Fixed an issue where restore purchase wasn't working for some users. Fixed the icons that appear when 3D Touching the Timeglass App Icon. Fixed an accessibility voiceover bug with timer buttons.

Version 1.1.3 Fixed an issue where spoken timers that pause between steps could lose their speech when being resumed through notifications.

CryptoClinx(YT),
High Recommendation Especially for GTA V Online
Hello! If you are reading this, you may be interested in also using this app for GTA V Online to help manage business after the Cayo Perico nerf. Well, let me tell you… this app is INCREDIBLE! It is easy to use, navigate and is such a blessing for this specific use. You can name alarms, easily access their pause/play button, and best of all… YOU CAN ORDER THEM HOW YOU LIKE! For example, if you have two timers with the same name, then upon creating both, they may get moved on their own. HOWEVER, there is a SIMPLE feature that just lets you slide it to where you want! In my case, I am using this app to let me keep track of how often I have to resupply my business in GTA V. And, so I created my first timer to be 10 minutes long because that is about how long it takes purchase supplies to arrive. Then secondly, I made my next timer be 50 minutes long because that is about how long it should take for any MC business to use up the purchased supplies (if it is a full purchase). However, when I made this second alarm it was automatically moved to the top, but I simply dragged it as the second alarm, and BAM! Easy and happy! I HIGHLY recommend!
CalebKJB,
I've wanted this exact app for a decade
I can't believe it's taken so long for something like this to come out, but is it well executed, or what? This is the exact app I've had in my head for years. It does everything: lets me name multiple steps, lets my adjust by the second for each of these tasks, lets me fast forward through these tasks, lets me edit these tasks and rearrange them, lets me add seemingly an unlimited amount of steps, speaks these steps out loud...all while looking good.

Get this app if you want to put together morning/nightly routines and other repetitive tasks. There are no other apps like this.

I can't think of a single thing that needs to change it's so perfect. The only thing I could think to add, and maybe it's there already (sorry for not doing my research), would be to have the same skipping/voice possibilities on the iwatch. I don't have an iwatch, but I can see this app alone making an iwatch purchase worth it.
Vicky from Indiana,
Handiest app on my iPhone
I love this app. My son introduced it to me. I have lists of timers, such as my morning routine, my evening routine, a checklist to start my workday and another to end my workday, my weekly review, etc. For someone with ADD, it's perfect to have the notification of each next step READ ALOUD to me. So awesome!

The only drawback I found was that I couldn't set a spoken reminder to begin my evening routine at a certain time. (I'm trying to get to sleep earlier so I can get up earlier.) I tended to ignore an alarm on my phone reminding me to start my evening routine. I wanted it to TELL me.

When I asked about this, the Timeglass support person actually invented a work-around that really worked! She emailed me a little recording she had made for me saying "Start evening routine," which I could download as an iTunes recording, and then choose that iTunes selection as the alarm notification at the time of my choice! Talk about intelligent and awesome support! That phrase repeats until I turn it off.

I just thought of another application: making a list of affirmations 1 or 2 seconds apart and listening to it at intervals throughout the day. Maybe several lists of affirmations, each a different theme! I can hardly wait to type in short affirmations to go along with the words I'm living by this year: courageous, joyful, focused--to which I've added flowing, and energetic! Wow! Great app!

Absolutely crucial app for wellness
For workouts, physical therapy, and other routine tasks, this app is the best multi-timer/stacked timer app I’ve seen, hands-down.

In particular, this is app is the only reason I’ve kept up with my physical therapy routine. It lets me “set it and forget it” while eating or watching TV. I wish every physical therapist used this app, it’s far easier to use than the ones I’ve seen from dedicated PT apps.

For folks with ADHD like me, this is also a godsend. Punch in your morning routine, and from then on just hit play. No distractions, no manually going to the next step, and with the narrated steps you don’t even have to look at your phone. Amazing.

Perfect balance of customization (build your own timer “playlist”, choose sound or narration) and focus (once set up just tap play, only shows one step at a time).

One concern: Support for the app seems to have slowed down, and it doesn’t have some common native features. (Siri/Shortcuts integration, iCloud sync between devices, widgets, etc.) These are usually niceties, but with an app that’s used for routines and such, this is perfect for using in Shortcuts.

I would absolutely pay a small subscription to ensure this app is kept up, and includes sensible integrations with iOS. It’s just too helpful to my daily life. Thanks for making this!
Harmony&Hope,
A wonderful tool
I am thankful I stumbled across this early in my search. The latest update improved it so that it meets my needs very well. I use it to learn how much time common activities typically take up, to improve on those times and know what is realistic, to keep me focused on the task at hand and next so I can stick to a schedule. I’m not officially ADHD or any other similar diagnosis, but I wonder if it might be useful for others who struggle with time management. I just need a little extra help in the morning when I’m still groggy but must press on to be on time.
To sum up, this app seems very flexible and a pleasure to use. I highly recommend it.
Creepyliz,
So far I really love the app
I love that it’s simple and easy to set up - so far it’s really been helping me keep track of my day- but I wish it had two features- one being able to add a new step wherever you want in an already existing timer- unless I don’t know what I’m doing and this already exists it seems like you have to copy it Wich ads it to the bottom and then delete your way down to it or juts make a new list - but I found that as I was getting my routine down I wanted to add steps and then by the end of the day how much time have you saved if your backtracking

And the other thing would be if you could organize your steps into folders - they have already set up timers but once I started to add all of them my list of timers became overwhelming - if I could put it into categories it would make it easier to Navigate

And lastly I really liked some of the preprogrammed timers and I’m always looking for new routines it would be cool to see how others start their wakeup routine or bedtime routine or?? If there was a community share option where I could copy theirs or upload mine i think it would be helpful

But for what it is I really love the ease and simplicity of the look - I would give it five stars if it had those two too features because I know this stuff is not simple to do but that seems like it should already be built in -
Autsy,
Was SO excited upon downloading this app
I have been wanting, and needing an app like this one for as long as I have had an Iphone. Maybe even before that, too.

When I came across this one, I was so excited and couldn't wait to use it. I had so many different tasks and such that this would make so much more convenient for me, as I am a MAJOR procrastinator as well as the type of person who will always get sidetracked no matter where I am or what I am doing and end up being so late to wherever I was supposed to be or whatever I was supposed to do next. My friends and family have already accepted this about me and no longer depend on me when I say I won't be late.

This app was going to help me change all that and be a great way to start getting me back on track when it comes to time management and being aware of how long I have been doing a task for while also making me aware of what I have next and that it is time to start heading out again. No other app I have ever found is set up quite like this one and I love it.

Well, I thought I did....Until I went to use the app for the first time ever and read that if my phone is on silent or do not Do Not Disturb or if the app is closed all the way, THE NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT GO OFF.

What a waste of a great idea.
Kitchigammi,
I’m happy
I’ve tried other timers. Some were trash and a couple were serviceable. This one is the best I’ve tried. The interface is very user-friendly. Multiple timers can run at the same time. You can set up an interval timer with repeat steps and each step you can name individually, i.e. warmup, interval 1, hill one, cool down, whatever. About half the time, I would forget to start my Apple Watch for my stationary bike workout. This app solved that problem. I renamed the “Warmup” interval to “Apple Watch” and now I never forget! I really like the way the app runs and the versatility of its features. I would recommend it without reservation.

Multifunctional, Easy to use, and personalizable
I'm an app junkie. Especially when it comes to productivity. This has quickly risen to the top of my timer apps that I've tried because it is simple to use and personalizable. You can set up, save and run multiple timers or just use their suggested timers.
I use this app for everything. From brewing coffee to hiit work at the gym. Right now, I can break up my study sessions into macro chunks and mini breaks. It helps me push my ability to focus on something while helping me remember to take breaks and keep a fresh mind (until it sends a notification to write a review in the middle of a study session).
TarheelsCompSciii,
Great for the gym!
If you're like me you have complex workouts and it's annoying to look in your phone to remember how many sets and how long to rest after every single exercise. Well if you buy premium you don't have to anymore. Just create timers of all your sets and the phone will speak it to you thru your headphones and through your music. For example I have a 50 min total back workout saved that reads... Lat pulldown 3 Sets of 12... Rest 60 seconds... 2nd set... Rest 69 secs... Last set... Get ready for bent over row... Etc etc. It's awesome ! Never even written a review before but this is worth the trouble.
