You have always dreamed of flying - but your wings are tiny. Luckily the world is full of beautiful hills. Use the hills as jumps - slide down, flap your wings and fly! At least for a moment - until this annoying gravity brings you back down to earth. But the next hill is waiting for you already. Watch out for the night and fly as fast as you can. Same as original but still amazing
I was excited to see a new Tiny Wings game on the App Store, seemingly an enhanced version of the original, so I decided to start the free Apple Arcade trial to check it out. However, I was honestly a bit disappointed to see that not a single thing had been added to the game except a new startup screen. But take it from someone who has been playing the game since 2013, speedruns the game, and created a Discord server just for this; this game is absolutely phenomenal. There isn’t much I can say that hasn’t already been said, but the experience you get from playing this is unlike many other mobile games out there, and is filled with love and passion at every corner. Although I was a bit underwhelmed from the lack of new features here (which should definitely be clarified in the description of this game listing!), hopefully this release will give more exposure to it now that you won’t have to pay a price upfront :D

Great, but same as the original one!
Hello everyone this is me again and I have loved your Tiny Wings games. I can’t even find a single different thing except for the hills. (And a new intro screen) Okay 👌 so I absolutely love 💗 your games there is nothing wrong 😑 with them I’ve also heard it’s now on my TV which is great!😌 and also things that should be added to make it look new 1. New birds in in both games: I heard it there are the same birds in Tiny Wings and Tiny Wings+. I wonder 💭 if you can add more birds. 🦅 🐦 2. More islands:Now, I know that a new Island is now here, but could it be even better if you add more islands? 3.Add one ☝️ more Chapter to the game: I don’t know 🤷♀️ what chapter 4 is going to have but please make a chapter 4. So, thank you ☺️ for making a brand new version of this game there are no differences I can find right now, and I hope 🤞 you make everything I say in this review. thank you 😊 again.

Fixed : Problem with the game making it unplayable
Fixed: I deleted and reinstalled the game and the screens were normal. It slides the screen to the left when you first start and I think this got interrupted somehow and stayed as a permanent bug
I’ll change the rating as soon as this is fixed. I just wanted to alert the devs. I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 15.0.2 From the first screen I’m seeing what is supposed to be far right of what’s being shown. I can see there’s a tutorial happening to the left of what’s visible to me but only because I’m seeing the right side of it a little bit. Only chapter 2 is able to be selected although I can see chapter 1 off to the left. And even in chapter two I can only see Koi Island.

Strange Syncing
I loved and enjoyed this game 5+ years ago when it was first released. When I saw it on arcade I was willing to play it again… unlike other + games (threes+, angry birds+, ect), I believe because I previously owned this game it simply redownloaded the original copy of the game. At first it was nice to see an old user name and sync of my old gameplay, but then I was a bit creeped out in how or where did this data exist and how was it handed from original to plus, then I searched for the game and it appears that it simply redownloaded my original copy from the App Store. the two stars are more about the confusion arcade caused, this is still a great game. I think I would of preferred an option to sync or a chance to not to be stuck, where I got stuck before. + should indicate a different .app file, maybe additional content… I can see why this choice was made because the original lacks in app purchases that must be removed for addition to arcade. It was just unclear, concerning, unwanted, from my previous experience playing + games on arcade.

Gets old fast
This game unfortunately gets old REALLY quickly. Sure, the colors and hills change, but there’s nothing to keep it interesting. There’s no real skill involved, either. You essentially try to time your drops with the hills, but you’re also just kinda stuck with whether the game will drop you mid uphill climb or downhill. Once you get the hang of tapping, there’s no challenge, and you just do it until the timer ends.
Even the high scores and coins are meaningless. Like, oh, I guess this random number changed. Cool. Other games in the “try to go as far as you can until you stop” genre will have fun and unique environments to explore, like different trees or types of power ups or special things that keep it fun (like hoops to jump through or clouds or… literally ANYTHING else).
Lastly, the design doesn’t work with the rounded screens of any newer iPhone! It cuts off the timer so I can only see half of it. It seems like a game designed just for iPhones with a home button still is a bad design…

I’ve only been able to play past the bugs once
This morning, I woke up, looked at my phone, and leaped when I saw this game had finally been added to arcade. Buuuuuuut, I went to open it and I was stuck on the 4 birds in chapter 2. It said I could change a birds name and choose a bird, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t swipe to the first chapter either. I could however press the play button, but I was still buggy. The first island is cut half way off the screen and I can’t scroll to it. Also the stars on the other screen are leaving trail marks in a black area. Also the birds are hoping out of nowhere in the black area leaving trail marks. I have screenshots of this stuff if the devs and mods wanna see it. I know it’s new to arcade, so that’s why I’m not immediately doing a 1 star. Bugs are always going to happen at launch, so that’s why I’m offering the screenshots. Sorry if this seems like a lot to y’all, I just wanna get this out there.

Still fun
This game is still amazing. The soundtrack is one of the best musics in any game. The art style is so gorgeous. And the gameplay is fun. There are some minor problems:
1- playing the game as a left hand person is a little hard. My thumb covers where the bird is and I can’t see where I am landing my lovely tiny bird.
2- the pause button is a little high and sometimes when I try to push it, my touch brings the Notification Center of the phone and I should push a button to get back to the game and push the pause button again. And when you want to quickly restart the game it can get a little annoying.

Great Slide detection is not good.
Most of the challenges in Tinywings require you to achieve a great slide or to gain a fever over a certain period of time. This is made real difficult by the detection being more luck based than skill based. After a while, the challenges change from skill based and instead focus on difficulty. An example of this would be to reach island 5 without any great slides. This challenge is telling you to do the opposite of what you would do in any regular run, and intentionally makes you play worse. Plus the fact that Great Slide detection is not reliable makes this challenge annoying and frustrating to deal with.
I’m not against fun challenges like “get to island 5 with your iPhone upside down :)”, but past those challenges the game is less relaxing and more grueling to deal with.

So, great game! There are no problems, but meany improvements can be made……..
So, ya, basically, like i said, no problems many improvements. So, first, there should be more birds. I think you should be able to by birds with coins in games, and they can have special abilities to! Like, staying up later, and, doubling coins. Also, it would be cool if there were levels. You don’t haft to do that, but it would be cool. These are must haves: completing tasks should give you coins, and you haft to be able to buy stuff with the coins. Great Game….Until
I was really enjoying this game until I got to Chapter 2 Flight School, Tuna Islands. No matter how much I play the level, I always come in last place and play it over again. I’ve noticed the other birds zoom past me like I’m standing still and I’m doing the exact same moves as them. I’m just about to uninstall this game since it seems impossible to pass this level. I do have a question though. Am I actually competing against other players or am I playing against the computer? If I’m playing other player, how is it possible to come in last place every single time I play the level I mentioned above? Something is not right with this game and it’s not just me. I know how to play. Anyway I’ll try a couple of more times. It really is a fun game.
