Put’s a smile on my face!
I used to play this game when my family went to the Apple store (they had a demo.) I wasn’t interested in shopping so I would head straight to the iPads. I always loved this game but I wasn’t allowed to spend money on the App Store. Fast-forward to today, I’ve seen it around on the App Store but just couldn’t pull the trigger to spend five dollars. I was excited when I saw that it was coming to Apple Arcade. I pre-ordered it and download it last night. Buying it has brought back a lot of memories. It’s a fantastic game with great graphics, an interesting and humorous storyline, and some tricky situations. If any of these appeal to you please download the game now… you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for such a great game! Arcade is getting better!!!

I normally do not write reviews. However I am making an exception for this game.
What a fun little game which takes me back to the video games of the 80s and early 90s. Yes I’m old… The graphics, controls, in the art of the game are beautiful. I found myself draining my phone battery playing this game. I did not want to put it down and when I did I couldn’t wait to get back to it.
Congratulations to the crew that designed this game, job well done, you hit a home run.

It’s okay
Pros -
The graphics are beautiful, the story is cute, and some of the gameplay is really fun.
Cons-
Maybe it is just my device or my experience level but some levels were just unbearably annoying. In a lot of games like this, they typically come with in app purchases. I don’t like in app purchases but things like free skips or hints might be offered. This game has none of that which if you are dedicated is great but for me just sucked the joy out of the game. By the end, I didn’t really care I just wanted to get it over with because of how obnoxious the levels were and the obnoxious red flash every single time you die. So you really have to grind through a lot of it. I think a lot of this is personal preference but I think this game is best suited for players who have strong timing and dedication.

Would be a fun game if it worked properly.
I’m beginning to feel like most of these Apple Arcade games are poor versions of existing titles you could purchase outside the arcade, which seems to make them not have as much support as the other version of said title. In this case, there are multiple reviews mentioning a “downloading new content” bug (which I am also experiencing) which keeps you from moving forward past the first few levels. There hasn’t been a bug fix or update in over a month and I see this game advertised actively on the Arcade still. I’ve gone so far as to leave the app open and my phone plugged in overnight to see if it would download the content needed to keep playing, nope! This is a major flaw and needs an update.

No Audio Options?
I haven’t played this game for too long, but I find it fun and charming. The only issue I’ve come across right now is that there are no audio options at all. I would like it if I could at least turn the music off, because I like to play my own music sometimes or watch videos, and that’s kind of hard when the music from the game overlaps with whatever I want to listen to or look at. Audio options are a basic feature that almost every game has, so if it’s possible, please add that in!

Good
I used to play the original and I was so excited to play this one. There is no difference. It’s a great game. However, I did have some problems. First it said that to get to level six content needed to be downloaded. I waited 5 minutes for the game to download in the first place! (To be fair, the internet is pretty bad around here.) Second, it is kind of confusing how to get 0 fatalities in 2 minutes, even if you have done it before a long time ago. Hi Maybe allow 5 minutes for the first level. Otherwise, it’s a great game.

Too Much of a Grind
Really beautiful game and lot of fun and elegance when you’re playing … until you get to a certain type of challenge and then all you do is die repeatedly. I got more than halfway through and had to quit after 35 deaths at a certain point. You can’t skip forward so you get stuck and then it’s neither fun nor elegant—just irritating and tiresome. I think it’s the klutzy controls that make it so difficult at certain points. I think that a lot of the five-star reviews are referring to the earlier stages. Anyway,
I didn’t want to, but eventually it became so frustrating I deleted the game and have moved on.

Loving it but…
Every time I try to hop on level six it’s telling me it needs to download content. How long does that take? I’ve been waiting for a long while now and is it because I haven’t gotten enough stars or is it a waiting game? I’m not sure. But the graphics are amazing and it’s a fairly simple game with enough challenge to make it super fun. Please help with the download content or make a note to explain if we have to wait or get more stars or what we have to do to download the new content. Thank you!!

Great but …
I thought I would love this game. Started out fine on my iPad but soon got stuck and could not get pass one part. Tried and tried and tried. Over and over and over. Never heard so many cuss words come out of my mouth and I never cuss. Guess I am too old to play this game and my granny thumbs don’t work here. Wish there was some way to skip a tough spot and continue. Too frustrating for me. You all have fun with it. I do highly recommend it.

Fun but frustrating
I enjoyed playing until I lost the ability to float half way thru level 11. I have replayed all the levels and have no trouble floating when needed but every time I get to the spot where you drop thru the three circles in level 11 I can no longer float, he just drops like a brick. So I can’t progress any further in the game which stinks because I thought it was a really fun game up until then.
