TOLACA’S STORY
Tolaca may look cute, but there’s no doubt he’s a bit of a jerk. This time it was his
insatiable appetite that got him into hot water. When his tribe discovered that he had scarfed
all their winter provisions, he was booted out of the village and told to find some food, pronto!
To succeed, Tolaca has to travel across enemy territory, which has been
blocked with enormous rocks. Fortunately, his tribe’s Shaman took pity on him and provided
him with a powerful mace that can crush rocks.
Unfortunately, the enemy has Shamans, too, and they have cursed some of the rocks.
Step on the wrong rock, and he dies.
Tolaca has to use his wits (and yours) to choose the right routes to the food.
He may be a bit of a neanderthal, but think of the villagers!

Fun but not perfect
I've only played the first levels but already there is one glaring problem to this perfectionist player: if you give the user rating for each level then there should be some indication of how the ratings are given and what needs to be done to get a perfect rating. I've played the first 12 levels and gotten three stars for all of them. Then on level 13 I only got 2 stars. I have no idea what wasn't "perfect" on this level or what I can do to get 3 stars...less moves? Less breaks? What determines 2 stars versus 3? This should be communicated to the user clearly.
Other than this, it's a fun little game that I'm looking forward to getting more challenging :)

Compelling maze/puzzle game with lots of levels
The first levels of the game are very straightforward, but the complexity to solve ramps up after that. It has good production value and resists the temptation to add distracting doo-dads. As I was playing I was conscious that is was just me and the puzzle. And the music loop, but you can turn that off with one tap. I liked the fact that I could skip ahead to any level I chose, but at the same time the 'path' through the levels lets me see the relative complexity of each level.
