Amazing Experience!

I love love LOVE this game. It is so very engaging and provides many peaceful minutes and (if you like) hours of blissful meditation, with beautiful colors and vibrant pictures of almost anything you could want. I especially love the winter and cat categories, I’m a definite cat person 😸, and winter is SO my favorite season, as anyone who knows me will tell you. If you’re thinking of getting this game to relax, JUST GET IT. You will love it, I promise you. Even if you’re not really a puzzle person, there are options to use as few pieces as five, sometimes two. You will be rewarded by a new addition to your photo albums, and you can pretend you’ve been there or seen that. 😁 I can say with conviction that this app deserves five stars. Upgrade from Totally Free; still has ads.

Totally Fun jigsaw - This is apparently an upgrade from Free jigsaw, a few more puzzles but play is the same, - [lots of categories, all free as far as I can tell. Pieces all around board, separated. Pieces flash when correctly placed. Edges fit border. Ads at bottom. When complete, still looks like jigsaw. If you exit out completely, will load puzzle in progress automatically. No videos to watch so far. No way to remove ads, apparently. Has 'Hold for picture', shows pic under whatever is on the board. Plenty of room to assemble pieces anywhere, puzzle square is slightly darker than surrounding workspace.] - except now when the puzzle is completed there is a 'remove lines' button which causes completed puzzle to look like a pic. Still no way to remove ads, which would really improve play. Also, as before, many puzzles look like amateurish snaps without any real interest.

Fun and as challenging as you want it to be

I do the puzzles mindlessly when waiting in lines at the airport or other times which need a little passtime but not something to taxing. Certainly the puzzles are pretty and are adaptable to whatever device you use by increasing and decreasing the number or by allowing rotation.
It’s free, which is nice, but stay away from the bottom border or you are besieged by a time wasting and infuriating delay as you are offered additional games!
I have got “for few” puzzles on my devices as well but they are too “puzzley” meaning the pictures are staged especially for puzzles. I enjoy these pics because they are actual photos from a photo Bank!

Review

I thoroughly enjoy the format of the Boy Howdy puzzles. The pieces are all visible alongside the body of the puzzle. As opposed to 99% of other puzzles that have their pieces on a “sliding” tray. The loose pieces can be reorganized at the players prerogative. However, the absolutely best feature is the “mystery puzzle”. A lovely challenge, solving a puzzle when the picture is a unknown factor. ... Go Boy Howdy, go!!! Gotta love it.
......Hello again. I wrote this a few years back. And it all holds the same. I think I’ve found every “cat”puzzle they have. And save the puzzles I love to an album so I can enjoy the completed pictures whenever I need a feel good moment.

Fun and Relaxing Puzzles

I enjoy using this puzzle app on my iPad. I find working on these puzzles helps create a relaxed, even meditative mood. There is a tremendous variety of puzzles to choose from with the added bonus of being able to choose the difficulty level, including the rotation and number of the pieces. Additionally, the Boy Howdy Technology customer service is fast and friendly. Julie answered my inquiry promptly and thoroughly, helping me to better understand the available puzzle tools. I highly recommend this puzzle app to anyone who is looking for a fun and relaxing (or challenging!) time, as they put together a puzzle of their choice!

Great app / Great customer Service

Awesome app, easy to use with varying skill levels, many picture choices that are well organized, and overall very intuitive to use. But GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE sets this app apart from its competitors. I wrote to the developer with a "problem" and received a reply with solutions from a real person in about two hours! Turns out the app was fine--it was my error. I wrote back to let them know and received a reply back that they were glad it had been resolved. Doesn't get any better than that. You have a loyal customer. Thanks.

Great for the brain

As we age, we’re told to do things to strengthen our brains! I’ve found these jigsaws are a big help!
1. Matching pieces according to color! Interesting how one off-shaded piece is exactly the perfect one for this space!
2.Matching pieces according to shape! I find this challenging but also a great learning opportunity!
3. I find landscape puzzles the most difficult, because you need to match color and unusual shapes for leaves etc. However, it’s very rewarding when you see the total picture! Again, very good for the brain in my opinion!

My favorite puzzle app by far

I love this puzzle app! I can choose how many puzzle pieces to play with so I customize the puzzle for any age. I can choose images from my camera roll or use any image I can download. I can send the app to friends or family members so they can enjoy it too. I only recently learned that working puzzles is one of the best exercises for the brain because it uses both the left and right hemispheres. Good for memory and recognition also. Thanks so much for this app. You have done me a favor.

Great app

No lies. The description is accurate. You don’t have to buy anything. Never ending selection of photos to use or use any of your own. You don’t even need to be online if you use your own photos. No need to be connected once a photo is loaded. (I don’t have wifi so this is important to me). You can select the number of pieces you feel like which can vary depending on your mood. I can do puzzles without pets knocking pieces on the floor and can enlarge it to see the pieces easier. I love love love it.

Great App, But Super Power Drain.

I enjoy working the puzzles on this app but whenever I do, my iPad Pro is nearly drained of battery power in just a short while. After playing for only a couple of hours my power percentage will go from 100% to as low as 40%. If I listen to music while doing this, it will drop to around 35%. As I said, the puzzles are great and lots of fun, but the app itself is not very efficient. If the developers can fix this power drain bug I’ll gladly give this App 5 Stars.
