Touch DJ Evolution is absolutely different from all DJ apps out there, and that's why it brings such fantastic results. The app is not trying to recreate any existing hardware DJ setup, like turntables or CD platters. Instead, Touch DJ Evolution offers absolutely new and fresh approach, giving the ability of direct track manipulation.
All the mixing can be done 100% visually, without any pre-cueing with headphones. The colored track waveforms are floating in the realm of the futuristic neon-glowing interface, along with the calculated beatmaps. It takes only a single tap in the beatmap zone to activate the "1-Tap Auto-Sync" feature, which will align the tracks perfectly.
Touch DJ Evolution simply makes the mixing too easy, removing the need of technical beatmatching skills. The tracks are simply always in sync, and moreover, the key of the tracks doesn't change when the speed of the track is modified, thanks to the "Master Tempo" ("Key Lock") technology.

I like it, but....
Could easily be a five star app, but It really REALLY needs an update. The playlist editor and library management is rubbish. The fx is wonky and sometimes unpredictable. The ability to beatmap from a certain point on, in addition to more flexible grid positioning would really really help as I have encountered tracks i just could not get to match correctly. Being able to access effects samples from main window seems logical, but sadly you cant. The quick hp/lp filter slider needs to be bigger. You can record mixes, great, but once you rename or convert, they are nowhere to be found. The record function may work on iPhone, but does work on iPad3 with current OS.
Despite these issues, i use it. A LOT. Please please PLEASE update, though. This could really be a legitimate DJing app but sadly falls short. I feel a bit ripped off for purchasing all premium features.

Best so far!
This app hasn't given up on me yet. I haven't given up on this app yet. This is the best music app I have so far. I would like the import music to be free. Other than that, good so far! (Allows you to bass boost music, change toons of music and more!)

No problems, works great on my iPhone 6plus
Had initially installed on my iPhone 3GS , no problems. iPhone 5c had issues not loading music on. 6 plus no problems. One of my favorite apps to play music on

I bought the upgrade to upload my own tracks and it keeps crashing on me and not loading up my songs so t know why I even got this app waste of money

Oh Hey Lady Gaga - of Course I
This is a great universal App that will have you feeling like DJ Jazzy Jeff, or whatever is hip with the kids these days. Fresh prince is still in, right? Oh… well iPad. If you say the word iPad, it makes you cool, so there.
Seriously, this is a great, beautifully designed app that is fun and extensive. I was able to easily pick the app up and within a few minutes was able to manipulate the audio into something resembling a dance hit. Lady Gaga should totally call me up because with this App I think I could produce her next album, and then of course I’d have to go on tour with her, and then there’d have to be a song about me and the paparazzi. Ah well, it would be worth it and I’d totally have Touch DJ Evolution to thank for it.

I love it when you get those free samples at the Chinese place in the mall. It has totally inspired me, on more than one occasion to buy a full meal. I trust this app will do the same if you’re DJ mojo needs room to run wild and free and fully express all your creativities.

Such a disappointment
This app really has potential. It's awesome how you can see the music and add tracks from your own library. On the sample the songs they give to you blend great and perfectly match beats. It's a bummer that it doesn't really work that good though. I bought the premium package with high hopes. Once you import a track it analyzes each one. But when you try to mix, the auto beat match doesn't work and it sounds terrible. Even when it says the BPM is matched. This app really could be awesome! And I have tried using quite a few different tracks to see if it was just a fluke at first. I hope they can make some adjustments and fix this problem. But for now save your money and look elsewhere unless they fix this

Beatmatching? What what? Great app!
Anyone familiar with the electronic music scene knows about Ableton, mixing software that is known for it's ability to beat match sections of a number of given tracks and throw them together in a mix. This app, while not as robust as Ableton, is similar in its nature. Sure, you're not going to throw down a set at Ultra Music Festival with this app, but it is fun to play with, and it allows you to import tracks from your iPhone or iPad's library. There are a plethora of DJ apps out there but this is by far the best one for the iPhone!

Few glitches
This is a great app. It just have a little lag when touch I touch the screen and some lag switching between screens too. I hope this app keep updating for the better though and updates free this time

I am rewriting my review because I thought the update would fix the bug of when I play my imported songs to mix on my iPhone 3G, the sound cuts in and out. This app is unusable on my iPhone 3G but touch dj2 works flawlessly. I will just use touch dj 2 until the new iPhone comes out and I can upgrade and see how it works on the new device. Until this problem stops on my current iPhone or my phone upgrade correct this problem, I'm only rating 1star.
