Hello Generals!

We have an exciting new update for you - CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Santa's sleigh was shot down by enemy artillery and now he needs your help! Hop in and complete the 5 new Christmas special levels in the main menu.

Thanks to our community we have also added a bunch of new Holiday items in creative mode which you can enjoy!

Besides that we have adjusted the difficulty on level 20-25 in the Italian campaign, so they are easier to complete.

MAJOR UPDATE!

- Creative update (A lot of new items added, new difficulty mode, weather selection)
- Survival mode (A new game mode where you have to defend against waves of enemies!)

It's a brand New Year and we at SimpleBit Studios have created a lot of new content for you!

SURVIVAL MODE
The first major part of the February update is our brand new survival mode! In survival you have to defend your lines against waves of enemies. After each wave you recieve coins and survival coins, which you can use to fortify your position. The survival coins can be used to buy different weapons which you can control! The survival coins you earn will also be available when you exit the game - as long as you don't uninstall the game or clear your cache.

CREATIVE UPDATE
Creative has been changed drastically. You can now select what kind of terrain you want to fight in, what the weather should be like and even the new difficulty setting "INSANE". On top of that a lot of new items have been added to Creative, so there is always something to do!

FEEDBACK OPTION
A feedback option has been added to all campaign and survival levels. Here you can give us feedback on the level difficulty. This will help us make a better game!

Great game with a lot of potential

Hi, I’ve been playing this game for about a week now and I absolutely love it. If there were some things I would add I would definitely add horses. This will go along with what I will say next but maybe you could have an option if they would use a rifle or lance/saber. For the troopers, at least the base 3, you should add a second weapon that you could chose to use once you got to a certain level on the game, so you could have the German rifle man originally have a gwehr 98 but then you could have the option to switch it to the selabaster m1916 which could shoot faster but the gwehr 98 do better in the trench compared to the m1916, that would be cool. Also maybe you could add officers which let’s say they would cost 50 and have the same health and damage as a machine gunner but give morale boosts to the soldiers, and you could pick if you wanted a health boost, a damage boost, or maybe even a speed boost, and it would stack 2 or 3 times. And if you feel like you don’t want to have too many different types of troopers then you could have the base 3 troopers and 4 slots that you could cycle out which ones you wanted and which ones you wouldn’t. I hope you see this and take it under consideration! Can’t wait for the next update!

Good game ngl

I like this game, it’s very fun and addicting to be honest. The only thing is that there are only 6 campaigns and the ottomans keep won’t spawn when I try to spawn one. I read the description to notice this. Also when I checked the version history, it said you had a feedback on every campaign and survival, yet I couldn’t find it. That’s all I really wanted to say because I wanted to make sure that I might not be the only one having this problem. (I really hope I am the only one, but I still would ask for you to fix it) I love this game and it made me realize how it takes for me to use different strategies often, I have been using one every time I play a game like this and that is always strike the enemy first. But sometimes I need defense and offense besides just offense, I really enjoy this game and I hope it all goes well. I hope anyone who has read it to this point likes it too, I sure like this a lot and if any of the creators are reading this, then I want to say that I encourage you to help make more fun and exciting games like this! (Please take consideration into fixing the problems that I have)

I’ve had this game for about a week now and it has been really fun, every campaign gives you new units to work with making you try different tactics to win, like rushing with quick units and using support to clear the path(my favorite), some levels are harder than others but it’s still a lot of fun, and even if you do finish the campaign there is a custom game mode which allows you to create your own level, this game is at least worth trying

Edit: I’ve read some of the “most critical” reviews and I have to say, I don’t know how the game was before last week but many of the reviews are about how certain sides are overpowered or that you don’t get enough money and have to watch ads, but really all it takes is to TRY another tactic, yes some factions have stronger units but they get less money, other factions like the ottomans, their vehicle doesn’t have as much health or do as much damage as a British tank but they are a lot cheaper and faster, this is a strategy game meant for STRATEGY

Few things I’d like to see

Ok it’s a great game but I can see a few mistakes. I mean it’s great and all but I’d love to see some more updates. Like could the game maybe be a little more in date? It crashes when I’m trying to make a good map! Also can we like make our own army like get stuff from other armies and combine it? Or like get upgrades and unlock more maps. It would be amazing to see a d-day map or an old town. Speaking of old towns we need more building items. Like old building or dead bodys. Plus those who like to see the piles of the men who died can there be a setting to keep the corpses instead of despawning? Also AI needs to be a little smarter. Like could they hide by trees? Also a medic troop would be really nice. Oh and we need more armies because I would to make a ww3 reniacment but y’all don’t have Ukraine. Also can the tank barracaides actually work? Like have a number of tanks to get past it or have a bunch of AI move it. Also we need transmission. Like having a setting where you can choose when a certain gets somewhere or dies something will happen like bombs or tank shots. Oh and can we get some planes? Anyways y’all have a great game but it needs some tweaks.

A very fun little game!

I downloaded this last night and have had a lot of fun playing it, I really appreciate you guys not shoving ads down peoples throats and it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to some other games.

However, I did find the balancing to be a bit broken at times, you can win every British or German level after unlocking the tank by spamming waves of them every mission start. While fun I think it would be interesting to have some kind of tank obstacles implemented to force players to use more variety in their troops. The cheap infantry of the Russian and Ottomans seem broken too as I have been able to beat almost every level in their campaigns through infantry spam/artillery alone.

At the end of the day this is a very fun game where my only complaints are relatively minor issues that make the game repetitive. I would recommend this to anyone that just wants to kill a couple hours.

Good game

I have spent around 5 hours playing this game and think it is good, some of the levels are extremely hard without using ads to get more money and some are very easy. There are some historical inaccuracies, this doesn’t matter that much unless you‘re like me, one of the German machine gunner units uses their mg08 (this should be the mg08/15)incorrectly because they hold it at the hip and in reality it was a very heavy machine gun and you would have to lay down and use the bipod in order to use it. The Russians and the Austro-Hungarians have the chauchat, only the French should have that, the Russians should have fedorov avtomat, and the Austrians should have the Schwarzlose, the German and ottoman lmgs are switched because the Ottomans have mg08/15s and the Germans have what look to be a hotchkiss machine gun. The Austro-Hungarian soldiers uniforms should be more blue, and they should wear helmets, because they had their own version of the m17 Stahlhelm. Other then these inaccuracies I highly recommend that you download and play this game. I have only deleted it because I have finished the campaign.

Great game with few bugs

This game is very entertaining strategy game for how basic the design is. Each level of the campaign adds a new minor feature for each troop of each country. The limited amount of coins you have to purchase infantry makes you think about what you need to buy to succeed. Creative modes for making your own levels or wave based survival mode add a little extra flare to the game than just a campaign. Few bugs can be found in certain areas such as the Ottoman Empire campaign having all levels unlocked prematurely which prevents you from getting later countries. The creative has you placing assets to create a map for troops to fight but the buttons to place or get rid of objects can cause nearby objects to be selected which can be annoying but is very small complaint. Over this game is exceptional and is a definite download. Also there are no micro transactions involved. Yay!

Pretty fun but very easy.

It’s a fun game, but I usually find one or two strategies and use only them for the campaigns. For example, in the late levels when you start with a ton of cash, you can use it all on snipers. They are able to counter anything the ai throws at them, except when the enemy rarely sends in a sniper to pick some of your people off. But other than that, simple sniper spam almost always works. The Russian and French campaigns don’t have snipers, but they’re also pretty easy. The French tanks out range all the other tanks, so just get a couple of them at the start, and use artillery on enemy tanks. That it for France. With Russia all you need to do is spam infantry and call in artillery on tanks so you don’t get splash damaged.

In my opinion, the ai should use artillery and snipers a lot more commonly. It would increase the amount of strategies I would need to use and make the levels a bit harder. Right now it’s too easy.

Good game

The game is amazing! The graphics are cool the soldiers the game modes are amazing! Suggestions: you could add new types of units like cavalry that would be a special unit of Austria-Hungary in creative mode you could let the player choose where the troops actually appear. metal is such that units like infantry don't do much damage to bunkers while machine guns, torpedo boats, flame throwers is the German special unit and tanks could do a lot of damage to bunkers. Those fences over there could either hurt the unit or even delay the enemy's advance it's for the strong infantry units themselves would either cross the other way or if you have closed they pass through the fence with a very slow speed The last suggestion is the gas, the gas could give you some time before killing because it's a weapon too powerful is still hitkilling would be too powerful a weapon is you guys could add a multiplayer mode

Map Idea for sandbox

The only maps you can choose in sandbox have absolutely no rivers or Shores or lakes , but in the flowery field thats the on,y bodies of water in that single map, so you could probably add a Sea Shore map or maybe even a destroyed city map or maybe a Europe map where you can look everywhere but it’s not 3D just 2D, here’s some Items for Sandbox too, Rather then fences Hay-bail and destroyed hut you could add a destroyed Turret or a Destroyed Fighter plane here’s and here’s a fun fact, in WW1 thee use to be people who digging underground the Allies expect America and France had those people but Germany had those diggers too so if you could add that that would be nice, Keep up the good updates!/work. Update : on custom maps there’s an accessory of a broken down machine gun, and another idea is too ads machine guns to enemy and/or allied Trenches. You deserve a Raise, you bring me joy :)
