Very informative
Even though we have not lived in Pittsburgh for many years, we like to keep up with the latest happenings - particularly sports. This app does a great job! I have followed the Pirates and Steelers since about 1939 when I started listening to Rosy Rosewell on the radio. My wife is from Pittsburgh and I grew up in Mercer County. We enjoy this app!

News is great, the app is terrible.
You can’t scroll. Because of the huge amount of ads that keep refreshing, as you scroll through it keeps popping back to the top of the page and you have to start scrolling again. Getting to the bottom is impossible if you scroll slowly. You have to zoom through the articles fast before it pops you back to the top. Then the ads are ultra repetitive. I understand the ads are necessary, but it is the same ad in between every article as you scroll. If I opened a newspaper that had only one ad in it hundreds of times, I would burn it while I still had my sanity.

I love the breaking news updates. I’m always informed of important issues and severe weather updates. Great app!

Bugs make it almost unbearable
The news is great. Most everything loads ok. Sometimes stories don’t show the bottom section due to ads. Scrolling through stories is annoying because it randomly resets your spot as your scrolling, i assume due to ads loading. Aside from those 2 things, it’s a good app. But, the annoyance level almost makes me want to quit it

Dissappointing and a failure
Have been using the app for years and have seen the quality decrease to the point of obsolescence.
The constant refresh rate makes it practically impossible to scroll through news stories. The latest updates to the obituary section leave it challenging to navigate.
The inept search feature and lack of filters make finding information cumbersome, if not impossible.

Love having access to western Pennsylvania news sports and updates living out of state it’s good to have contact and not be restricted with limited articles per month. Keep up the good work.

Scrolling issues
Had to give a little rating. Every time you scroll
Through new stories, your screen automatically scrolls back to the top and resets. Very frustrating when you’re trying to scroll through new stories. Has been going on for at least a year. developers should update/fix this.

Dependable and informative
Yunz made a very good app with all the local news on my hometown, the surrounding towns and counties, and of course the sports section. This is my daily source for all things related to the Stillers, Bucs, and Pens. One of the first apps i open each day as we live in North Carolina

New vs old.
The new version is harder to navigate through, especially the obituaries. There’s not near as much Westmoreland news. It’s harder to find what I’m looking for. Go back to the one before the last one. It’s ridiculous that apps update so often. I have to update 25 things each week. Pretty soon I’ll take most of them off.

Reloads And Can’t Scroll The Articles
Last update says the bugs have been squashed…well that’s inaccurate!
People have been asking for a fix. But TribLive refuses refuses to fix it.
You cannot scroll through the stories because the app keeps reloading and taking you to the top of the page.

If you look at the previous updates, it states that those updates squashed bugs… but that’s not true. So if the Trib is making inaccurate statements about its updates, how are we supposed to believe that their articles are accurate?
Do they think we’re stupid? Think about it…
I know I’m questioning it!
