Unless I burn up the screen the thing is I have to watch over my activity becomes frozen

Used to be supported
As others have mentioned, when exiting the app, for example if you want to process something IRC downloaded, when you return the app is super slow, to the point where you can’t use it.
When it came out, it was the only iOS app supporting DCC but now there are a few others I want to try.

Great - works
Works completely fine on my IPhone X (iOS 14.8). Joined servers and had file transfers without any issues

Not bad.
I think It's an acceptable IRC client for IOS. Maybe have a 99 cent app with no ads. And I'll gladly buy It.

Very poor design
If u exit the app then go back in it locks up. There has been no updates to fix the bugs. App hasn't been updated in four years.
