I have been using TVG for the past five maybe seven years. I was one of the first users that I knew of no referred multiple people to the website. I’ve also exposed countless people at bars restaurants coworkers etc. to this website and have enjoyed many nights and days using the site. I think it is a very user-friendly site and I think there’s not much that can be better.
I do however think a certain point reward should be given to long-term users as well as consistency in use. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that I still pay five dollars per transaction and I think at some point there should be for every 10 deposits the next two or three or something of that nature. Five dollars goes a long way on your site.

Worst customer service
I had accidentally deposited 600 into my TVG account instead of 6 on a Thursday night. The only way you can contact them is through fanduel chat service. No phone center. Was on this cat live with an agent for 24 mins Friday the very next day. Before a holiday weekend. The gentleman told me the funds were on hold and it wasn’t going to hit my account. Well he lied! The funds were quickly taken away from my TVG account so I couldn’t spend money that wasn’t there. Nice one fan duel. What a quick response to make sure your money wouldn’t be spent, yet on Tuesday after a holiday weekend the funds were debited from my account. It is Wednesday and I still have received a refund! Best part is I was heading out of town for vacation, so when the customer service agent told me it was all taken care of i was relived. What a joke! After explaining to them over and over the ach wouldn’t be returned by the bank, that they would have to credit the account and not my bank. They still said no. Asked for a manager to call me, but said it will be by email. I am canceling my account. I’m going to have overdraft fees, yet they still don’t care enough to keep me as a customer. Been with them for 3 years now! Good luck if you have an issue or mistakes!

New look
I’m still getting used to the new look but I’m liking it so far. I like that you can review your bets and watch the race at the same time. I also like it when you launch the race video, you actually have to click the arrow to see the race and there is an option to disable the sound first. I don’t know how many times I play TVG in public and the race starts blasting in front of people. LOL.
Only issue I’m having is when I make a TVG Prepaid card deposit, after I fund my card, I get the usual pop up and click Close. But after I Close, I get a message if I want to cancel operation rather than it closing and allowing me to fund my TVG account. It gets stuck and I cannot proceed. I have to completely close the app and log back in, then I can go fund my account. Please fix this issue. - FIXED! Great job!
Also it would be good if you’re playing P4/P5/P6 plays, when you go to the next leg, I would like to be able to see the TVG picks at the bottom. - Added. Awesome!
New issue- Video cuts out/freezes on almost every track/race. Race starts, freezes, continues, freezes, resumes again but this time they’ve already crossed the finish line. Annoying! I’ve already reinstalled the app, made sure my phone is on the latest iOS, WiFi is fast and stable, happens on LTE network as well.

Refunded ticket total instead of paying out the big win
Placed a "missing bet" for $50 across the board to win, place and show. Ticked total $150. The bet appeared in my "Bets" showing with a potential win of up to $1161.
This bet then disappeared from the "Bets" after the race. The balance on the account was $306 prior to placing the missing bet. After the “missing bet” was submitted the balance was $156. About 10 minutes later, the "missing bet" ticket of $150 was placed back into the account and the balance went back to $306. The "missing bet" was a winning bet. Per the “active bets” the approximate payout would have been $1161 if the horse took first place of which it did in fact take first place. The winning bet disappeared and the original bet ticket of $150 was refunded to the account balance. Account holders son spoke with a rep. there twice about the situation and was told twice the key account manager would have to call him back regarding the situation. Account holders son was present and witnessed the race that resulted in the “missing bet”. The key account manager never called.
The situation is very similar to a review left on Trustpilot left on June 6th 2023. TVG only has an average review of 2.6 stars out of 5 on TrustPilot.
Bottom line is you can win a race with a big payout and you are taking the chance TVG will not honor the payout and instead simply reimburse your original bet ticket.

Great for betting on the go or at home
This can be addicting! It’s fun to watch races on phone or TV and have a stake or bet in the race. I am beginning handicapper and started out by betting on my micro-share racehorse ownership, but have learned a ton watching FanDuel TV ( previously TVG ) This is great if you live far away from tracks, or you just can’t make it to your local track. I have not decided if the expert hosts picks’ win more than I do. They are like the weather person - they get paid and have a job no matter how often they are wrong or right LOL! This app has contests you can win extra money on top of your betting! Good luck 🏇🏻💜🏇🏻

Update made it glitchy
I love the app and have had it for a few years. It’s now really glitchy. I bet a little for fun every day and it is disappointing and confusing because I can’t pay super close attention while doing other things. 1. Doesn’t show a bet unless it is closed and reopened. I have bet twice on the same race because it doesn’t show my bet. I don’t mind losing some money, but I don’t want to lose more because the app is defective. 2. Doesn’t auto refresh. Sometimes it’s many races behind. Example: It shows race #1 is in 2 minutes. But the track is on race 4. Not just one track, but several: Thorough breds and harness. It won’t refresh even if closed and reopened. I hope it can be fixed soon. I will be happy to upgrade my review once it gets better.

TVG is hands down the best online horse wagering site.
I’ve tried all the online betting sites, and TVG is by far the best. The new iPhone app is particularly easy to use. TVG is a safe and sensible way to bet when you can’t be there in person. Deposits are easy and your money is always safe. Want to cash out? It’s no problem at TVG. Direct deposits, bank wires: Your winnings are easy to withdraw at TVG. This is not possible at other sites-apparently. They are always figuring out ways to take more of your money. TVG has money back promotions and wager rewards that get money back to the player. Always loved the website -till this app came along-I’m hooked! The app is great!

My TVG experience
I like the TVG online wagering platform. The TVG television program leaves much to be desired. It’s hard to tell you how difficult it has been listening to idiots like Todd And Simon for the last 15-20 years. The only thing worse is contemplating the next 20 since you’ve never displayed the common sense to show any of these poor handicapping, singing goofballs like Todd, Simon, also Perloff, Weaver, Joyce, and Ken the door, with the rare exception being Geno. If you cut some of this old dead weight you’d have space for more Andie Biancone’s, Caleb Kellar’s and the young guy who does The Quarters, not George.

Promotions are BS
Did the FanDuel risk free $200 bet on the derby. Should have known this was BS when I saw it. I bet $200 on the race and only that race. I unfortunately didn’t win :( so I was like oh well it’s risk free, right? WRONG! They only gave me $50 back and I asked them about this. They said that I apparently didn’t read the rules right and they would only pay my first $50 bet. I placed 4 bets total with my $200. Two $50 on win and two $50 on show. I told them I understood about the show bets and I would take the $100 loss. They still wouldn’t honor my other $50 for the other win bet. They said that since it wasn’t on the same ticket, that they just can’t do it. They were completely irrational and not fair about it. The betting was fun, but don’t do the promotions without reading the fine print. They want your money BAD. I will not be using this app again. ✌️

In California I have a variety of choices to spend my discretionary dollars. I can drop $50 on all kinds of lottery games or scratchers sponsored by the state. Or I can buy a bag of weed from a shop that has the states seal of approval. I feel that gambling is at best a long shot and the weed is so overpriced I would rather go to my neighborhood drug pusher.
My gambling of choice by far is TVG. I get the same odds as going to the track and don’t feel the hot breath of any politicians as I do with the lottery or buying their pot. Now if my state could only legalize gambling on football.
