Universal Tennis is amazing!
Like I said in the title, Universal Tennis is amazing! It helps me to know my UTR, my best match results, and other match results. It also helps me to know other people’s match results and UTR. I can compare UTR’s and see my competition. Universal Tennis is also better than Match App in terms of ranking. For example, UTR is more realistic than your national ranking because some people just play tournaments to get points and not to get better. (Which is not correct and you should NOT do that) On the other hand, you have to beat certain UTR people to make your UTR go up. Thanks for however founded Universal Tennis!!

Great App and Events
This app is well designed. The events are plentiful and reasonably priced and not snooty. It basically has everything the USTA doesn’t. One advice would be to allow coaching for kids under 5 UTR so they develop faster. This old adage of having no coaching in tennis is holding back the sport and development of young athletes. All this old stuffiness of tennis needs to go away if it wants to be accessible and popular like pickleball.

OK app for a great program
The UTR program really is fantastic. A great way to promote tennis and get a wide range of players engaged. The app is OK, but has a lot of room for improvement. Among my minor complaints: 1) there’s really no intuitive way of tracking events you’ve already signed up for, 2) search results aren’t sorted in a useful way, and 3) group chat isn’t integrated with events in a way that lets participants post to the group of players all playing in, for example, a tournament event.
That being said, it’s not a bad app either, and I’ll continue to use it.

Usable but needs improvement
The IOS app is slow/buggy. Having hard time finding friends on search.
Also, i cannot post a score because I can’t find my friend i versed. And could not delete wrong score upload.
Had to get into the utr website to post score and delete scores.
Also wish I can do friend request type on the app too.
Other than that, i am excited to start my journey with UTR.

Hi im using utr to see my ranks. I have few question. Why does my utr dosen’t goes up like others do. Im not saying by not wining single matches. I beat 3 utr’s and im still stuck in 2.7 and other utr playes play 6 utr tournaments and win couple games and they frt the utr as 4 and stop playing utr. And even i beat someone. Other person’s utr goes up but im staying in same utr. I don’t get this systems. Please make me understand

Doesn’t pull match results consistently. Currently missing several match results. Interacted with support team and sent screenshots of match results as they asked. Still no fix. It’s been six weeks. Extremely frustrating.

Great concept - poorly executed. The app does not consistently update for match results. Mine are lagging two months behind. I have reached out to the support team, sent links and screen shots, and they have still not been updated.
I expect more from a $120 annual paid subscription. Not worth it.

This costs too much for how buggy it is
I’ve had two issues in 3 months with the data being corrupted or missing “can’t fetch my data” in this app. If it’s still in beta, they shouldn’t charge for it. Or credit me for the time it’s not working. I’ve reported to support. Not impressed.

Updates causes LESS features, do not update
Updating this app causes less features, now it doesn’t show players’ age / age groups. Is there a way to display this again? For $10/month, why are features being removed from the app with every update?? Can we roll back app to the previous version??
