In release 4.7 we changed the way images are loaded in the media browser and it was discovered that in certain cases this change could lead to problems. This version resolves that problem and prepares the way for improvements in releases to come. This change also improved the stability.
The 4.7 release contains some specific fixes to reduce startup time and improve media browser speed, more speed related fixes will be incorporated in our next release.
Fixed:
- Reduced the loading time of the Media browser
- Removed unnecessary reload on start of app
- Library sometimes does not load after app has been in background
- No media browser contents in some situations
- Media items' loading spinner not visible during incremental load
- Active device not automatically selected
- Media browser category duplicates when doing drag and drop reorder
- Controls not always shown after re-entering app
- Action list sometimes not populated
- Not selecting the last location when restarting the app
- Location menu not automatically shown when logging in
- Today widget does not update
- Notification window size
- Sequences are not shown in areas without any quick settings
- Timed out steward calls are shown as accepted on iOS
- When opening the app from a push notification the notification in question isn't available
- Volume slider not updating
