Bgriley,
Beautifully Dark with Surprising Depth
This development studio never fails to create unique masterpieces. I cannot emphasize enough how underrated this studio’s games are. On the surface when you first begin, it’s an easy to pick up game with a fascinating story and visuals. But the more you play, as you learn more mechanics, the absurd depth of the mechanics, skill trees, loot variety, etc begins to reveal itself… but this depth is paced in a way that it’s never overwhelming to the player. It just continuously provides moments of disbelief as to how much thought, intention, and creativity went into development - as well as moments of excitement in realizing how much freedom you have and how much there is to discover.

This is the second game I’ve played from this studio, after spending nearly 8 months obsessively playing the first. What’s even crazier is, I’m generally a competitive FPS player on PC. I wouldn’t consider myself generally a part of the demographic for a title like this, especially not to spend as much time on a mobile game. But the games this studio releases are so consistently unique and incredible that I find myself absorbed in the worlds they create.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would, as well as any other title released by this studio. If you enjoy this game and you’re looking for another fantastic world to experience, you HAVE to check out their other games as well, because this studio is consistently great.
Norgat113774,
The sun has risen for Early Morning Studios!!!!
This game is so amazingly underrated, it need to be advertised, played, reviewed, remastered, sequeled and resequeled. I could not be more impressed not only for a free game to have so much content, replay ability and depth but by the way it draws you into the world immediately casting you into chaos and a plat involving the King. Can we please have more updated. Im going to throw a few buck your guys way and hope it goes toward development. The itemization is so great, i love the enemy spawn zones, you can tell when youve gone to far and you find enemys way beyond your lvl. I love this game in glad something like this is finally available on mobile iv been waiting years. Others games have come close but end up feeling hallow of shallow. THIS GAME HAS IT ALL!! Ty again for creating this wonder.
Raath,
Has more than the last game, that’s for sure
A friend suggested this game to me over the past weekend, and I immediately saw a similarity between this and a “vampire rpg” I played a lot years ago. Turns out the same crew made it! So I was pumped. Played a bit, laughed at the crude dialogue, I was in familiar territory. But as I’m older than I was when I played Vampire’s Fall, I see and feel things about this game that makes me wonder how I played VF so much and got to end game with it. Battles take a while to finish, battles take a while and a lot of walking to even get in to, and the rewards are measly which encourages grinding, which isn’t bad in itself. But if players are expected to grind in areas that aren’t indicated as to what level the enemies are, as well as spent time walking in circles for extended periods of time in order to grind, that puts off the casual gamer in me. A button to instantly generate a random encounter would be a huge plus for a game like this. And maybe indicate on the world map the general level/strength of enemies in a given area or dungeon?
Joe Charfauros,
Beautiful…Simply Beautiful….
The story, the action, the fact that you can progress at your own pace, the fact that it’s 100% free to play, and the fact that there is so much to do and learn makes it such a beautiful game. I’m going to spare you your time so you can play the game, I simply want to say, that even tho it’s slightly complicated, that it’s worth it, the choices you make do dictate the outcome of the story drastically. That’s what makes the game beautiful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of turn based rpgs or to anyone who wants to hop on the train of turn based rpgs.
Inotia Lover,
Don’t listen to complaints
Think of it like a soulsborne game. The game is hard but fair. Of course some parts are hard right away, the game is meant to be hard. Just explore and do your best and the game is actually pretty easy. Just level up and get better gear it’s a fairly common theme in old school rpgs. Love the dialogue, love the combat, love the story, it’s a great free to play game and knew I had to play it because their other games are also great. Looking forward to the next release.
Quinnovator,
Not for me
Most RPGs I either replay (e.g. TitanQuest, Avernum) or quickly tire of. I enjoyed Vampire’s Fall, and this seemed like my cup of tea. But it’s not. I like the storyline, and the action. There are two things that remain a barrier. One is that it is too easy to die. In the beginning quests, there are some within range, but also some that are sure death until my characters are much more advanced. And, the crafting becomes a grind. It would be fixed if there were an ‘easy’ setting, for instance just that hit points regenerate at a reasonable rate. As it is, however, I find myself avoiding going back and playing, and instead reading another novel. So, as is, I can’t recommend.
karenisacheatingskank,
An amazing game
I love turn base attack games so it stands to reason that I think this game is amazing. It has very unique dialogue and the story is great! I basically turned into a god when I found out that if you make everyone a mage and grant them healing abilities you basically never die! I have all four of my members heal each other during our fights and we are unstoppable. This game as so many unique ways of going about it and I think that’s what makes it so great!
stanislavia,
Love it so far
Question -- is there a way to move around other than holding and dragging? It's getting very laborious on my iPad. I'll probably only continue playing if there's some way to move faster and easier. it would be great to be able to click on a spot on the map and just move there.
Emankcin A.,
Game currency is just a save file thing
If you reinstall you lose your witch pearls (game currency). Nothing in game worth using it on (which is great from a player perspective) but felt it was weird that it’s just like an item in your save file. There’s a “restore purchases” button but it does nothing.

Otherwise, good game in general and outstanding game for a free game. Doubt you’ll find a better free rpg game on here in 2023.
AMPd_Fxrtress,
Better then I thought!
I started playing Vampire Falls and beat the game, thought I’d give this a try and I must say I’m shocked at how much they’ve improved.

I’m a sucker for a party-system turn-based RPG so this won me over.

My only complaint is that I wish it was longer and that after beating Valdor it felt a bit… anti-climatic.
