Fun, Accessible Top-Down Stealth Game
This game is like a simplified, but fun and well-paced version of Metal Gear Solid. It's also similar to Pixel Ninja on iOS. If you like stealth games, especially top-down ones, you'll likely dig this game. It's simple, intuitive, and offers decent replayability with its medal challenges and shop unlocks (which includes two additional characters that actually play differently).
I like the art style and character designs, despite being heavily influenced by MGS. The only two things that come to mind that this game doesn't excel at were the animations, and the music. But overall, it's a very solid game, especially given the price.

If you want to play metal gear solid but don't have the time or money this is a great solution. Must play

VR Mission Ext. isn`t just an simple Upgrade of VR Mission HD - It`s like a Wishlist...
...of what VR Mission should have been from the Beginning gone through and included into the Game.
Let`s make it short since I`m busy with playing the Game and don`t wanna waste much Time with a Review that probably nobody does ready since he is busy with playing VR Mission Ext.
If there would have been a Wishlist for VR Mission then VR Mission Ext. would be the Result of it. When the iOS Community asked Sphinx Entertainment to fix all the flaws that had been left in the first VR Mission for their new Game you would have expected that they might do some or simple ignore those Requests.
After playing VR Mission Ext. for quiet some Time it`s like they nailed everything that was asked for:
- The Control System was improved
- A bigger Story
- More playable Characters
- More Weapons
- More Achievement
- ...

I could keep that List forever but I don`t want to since I simple play the Game and get every Achievement in the Game instead.

Metroid Gear Solid!!!
Its basicallylike the original metal gear games but more influenced by metal gear solid games and a little bit of metroid like gameplay. I use metroid as a comparison because the elevator system, having to open doors with switches like this and downloading the map information. All and all very fun game and the characters look like Veautiful Joe versions of snake and the crew, music is reminiscent of the mgs series as well, some complain about a lack of originality but it attracts mgs fans like me, its how i found this app

Good, not great
Story is a little lacking, but graphics are good. The gameplay is plain, but gets the job done. Bigger levels, more enemies with less stupidity (ie staring at a wall while you walk by), maybe ways to incapacitate an enemy without killing, and a way to roll over unavoidable trap and noise floors would be a big help. But is there any good reason the Raiden ripoff can't execute a simple knife combo? Also, the ability to strip weapons, ammo, keys, etc, from enemies would be great. MGS is all about being creative and exploiting the system, but there's no room for that in this game. Get some inspiration, level design wise. The MGS love is thick here, but fans will find this bite-size tribute to be a pale imitation.

Disappointing choices by the developers
I love the original metal gear. This one is very reminiscent, which is great. I was loving it - 5 star quality... until I got to level 17.
In level 17 you fight a difficult boss - trap doors on the floor plus disorientation beams. To kill this boss effectively you need rockets, which are $1,000 a pop. This $1,000 is very hard to come by, apart from in app purchases. Unlike console video games, where if you die you are returned to the state you were in before you lost the game, every $1,000 rocket you fire disappears for good, requiring more purchases or inordinate grinding.
I recently deleted the app. Not worth it. I feel like I'm playing a quarter-popping arcade game with dollar bills and, frankly, this game is nowhere near worth that.

Fun "Metal-Gear" type game.
It's very obvious that this game was inspired by the Metal Gear Solid franchise, that being said, I absolutely love playing this game. However, you can easily pay to win this game with in-app purchases. It can be difficult to collect coins/cash in this game and I'd rather not pay over $50 just to unlock a character to play as and unlock new equipment. While it is not required to pay for these items, they do make it very hard to unlock enough in-game currency to unlock said items. It's things like this that are plaguing the mobile game industry. Anyway, it's a fun game if you have money to blow. 3 stars.

A good sequel But Forces Grinding/In App Purchases
This improves on the 1st one in so many ways: better controls, more characters, more weapons and even a cooler title screen.
I am glad the developers improved on this stealth game by allowing you to move in more than 4 directions; it is a huge difference to feel you are actually sneaking up on enemies.
The main problem with this game is that it forces you to grind because you don't get back items/bullets you use if you die and level 23 needs you to buy a lot of items because of how hard the boss is especially when half his health is lost. This problem worsens if you accidentally buy accessories that are overpriced yet useless for boss battles.
After you get medals for the 1st time, you hardly make any money and then you gotta grind/buy cash with in app purchases. Level 22 has you get about 700 cash per try if you are fast but 1 machine gun clip you need against that level 23 boss costs 1500.
