Good game but...
Ok so I gave it five stars because it really does deserve it, BUT there are some things that could be better.
1. The controls can be pretty frustrating at times.
2. The auto lock feature never seems to work
3. Not really a plot in the campaign mode as far as I can tell
All I all for a good quick run n gun game session while you're on the go, I'd say it's definitely worth downloading. I mean it's a lot of game for free

A game developers guide to game updates
So first off id like to say that the interface and controls for the game are alright, slightly buggy but alright. However when your game says amazing story I expect an amazing story, not grammar mistakes only a 6th grader would make. Another point, I go to a wall that says fire a missile here and as I go to do that dialogue pops up saying hey don't forget to fire a missile here. Really I apparently can't read well enough that I need extra help.
This gets into the main idea for the title, any game developer out there this is a grade a example of a good idea, and possible build for a game. Except that the creators of the game didn't take the time necessary to fix any glitchy bugs in movement, grammatical errors, or the fact that game sounds continue to loop after the mission completed enters the screen.
The game has the right intentions, but with all the wrong design. This is why I give the game a two star rating.

Not so old school
I'm loven this game. People are saying its old school but there is a modern feel to it. The looks are deceiving. Once you start getting deeper into the missions you find yourself not just remembering those games from your childhood but reliving the fun you had. This is a must buy for your iPhone or iPad. Take advantage of the low price while u can.

Relivin' the awesome times.
I love this game. Reminds me of the classic Metal Gear on the MSX2 and its North American counterparts. Sphinx Studios does an awesome job at producing fun games which give that great nostalgia feel to it. If you're looking for an excellent trip that can take you back in time, I highly recommend this game. Get it while you still can.

IAP kills progression
Ammo is dished out rarely. Costs coins, which you collect, to buy enough to progress. If you die, you retry/restart a level, ammo doesn't revert to what you had at the level start. You hit a point where you either IAP more coins, or have only a short range knife. For a game based on shooting from cover, the knife is mostly suicidal.
Update: figured I'd give it another go. Nope. Get to a boss that takes about $10,000 worth of ammo, no way to get it without IAP. More needed than the game gives you.

Love it
The game is a perfect way to blow time while high. It's action packed but not to crazy. Great array of weapons and tech, flowing UI. Really a great game. Only thing I would say is some kind of multiplayer, but isn't that what everyone wants on everything? Haha but really, real talk, good fun game. I would recommend it.

Ok game
This game is ok. You shouldn't have to pay for it and its a good thing you don't. The graphics are only ok, the music is bad, and you have to pay in the shop for more ammo. You also have to pay to restore Heath. Also you should be able, to collect coins in the game instead of getting them for every kill. Also the price of the Heath is way to much. Thank you,

A Must-Play
One of the best games I've ever played and its amazing and action packed and it has a great story line...and it doesn't even take up half your storage like the other games that try to apply those qualities within there games...

In these time when I find my 32GB iPad short of space, there are few games that I would keep stored in it. This one is worth the memory space.

Surprisingly fun, with a nostalgic feel.
Excellent gameplay, good controls, graphics are real retro-chic. Keep in mind this is after playing only 20 minutes, so I can't speak for long term play, enemy balance vs IAPs, but being fun and free, its certainly worth checking out.
