· Welcome Dutch & Portuguese speakers!
· There's now a plus button to the bottle when it's empty. If you didn't know where to start before, this new icon should be irresistable!
· You now have more smartness in Smart Reminders. That includes a more humane nudge to start tracking your water each day. Watch for witty quips and encouragement.
· I've extended Smart Reminders to allow you to select your milestone size. If you use larger containers with a larger goal, you are now free from micro-sized alerts!
· Some people upgraded to premium on one device, and couldn't figure out how get it onto another device. This wording is now more clear.
· Welcome emails should now arrive in your language. I still only speak English and French, though.
· Get a "bump" from your iPhone 7 when you log your water or meet your goal. Now you can "feel" success, and not simply see it.
· I'm testing out a new ad provider, and I want to hear feedback about it on @WaterloggedApp. I'm committed to minimal annoyance and hope for occasional relevance in the ads.
· I run the app alone, and I have a regular job and large family, so support is limited. I love you, even though you aren't my only focus in life!

· Fixed: There were strange situations which caused Fitbit to silently disconnect. Those should now prompt you to re-enter your password to stay connected. Whew! That was a tough one to solve!
· Fixed: Marking a newly created container as a favorite now works. We're no longer biased against them.
· Fixed: You should now be able to claim premium features on a new device always. Those rare cases which required a carrier pigeon or similar effort are gone. Send a support request if you encounter a problem with it.
· Fixed: When we ask for permission to use your camera, we no longer only ask in English. Our sinister plot to take over the world failed!! Just kidding.

UuuupDooown,
History
I like a number of things about it. One of favorite things is that I can adjust the history in case I want to correct an entry I made in error. I also like that it syncs with my IPhone Health app. It’s for these two reasons that I stuck with this Waterlogged app instead of switching to another popular water tracking app.

I also take pleasure in the celebratory confetti that rains down when it congratulates me that I’m successful.

The app could be enhanced, though, if it allowed me to track how much hydration I got in various drinks such as juice, etc. Currently, it only allows me to track how much water, coffee, juice, tea, etc that I drink rather than how much hydration each has to offer as compared to water.
Wordy543,
Best water tracking app I’ve found
I’ve been looking for a good water tracking app for a while. I tried the ones that you have to keep things alive and while those were fun I also felt like it was to much pressure and I found myself cheating just to keep the creature alive (I know, ridiculous right?). Anyway, this one works perfect for me. It tracks everything without the pressure. I can set up the reminders as I need them. I also like that the water goal is customizable. Some other apps set the goal by your weight but that is not always how you should be determining how much water you should be drinking.

Older reviews said that if you paid for the premium that it does not work and sync to Apple Health or MyFitnessPal, but I have had zero issues. It has been awesome that it inputs it right in there for me! One less step for me to do since I would always forget to add that in MFP. Definitely worth the extra money for the reminders and for it to sync (and no ads).

I also like that it tracks other liquids as well. The one thing that I would like is to be able to add an other liquid container to my favorites. If I know everyday that I’m going to be drinking 8oz of milk or a protein shake I would like to just be able to quickly add that rather than add it manually. But I also realize the main point of this is to track water, so I won’t complain too much. Overall, this is a great app!
teesee5,
Doesn’t work anymore sad to say!
I had this free app when I was on iOS 10, 11 and 12 then when I updated to IOS 14.8, it doesn’t work. Before, I thought it was a really cool app and it really helped me out. I would set reminders and it would give off an alarm like rain or bubbles and it really worked well. Now all I get is just a page with the bottle on it and I can’t go in to anything in the app. What is confusing to me is that the app pops up saying that it wants me to upgrade to iOS 15 but that’s deceiving because on the App Store it says this is supposed to work with 14.0. I have deleted this app and reinstalled it three times—it won’t work so now it’s worthless and I’ve been trying to find something else but I don’t want a bunch of bells and whistles. I just want a basic app that will set off a little alarm to tell me to drink water because I will go the whole day without drinking until the evening when I’m dehydrated. That was basically the whole reason why I first got this Smart phone because my daughter showed me this app and I thought it could really help my health and prevent all the kidneys stones. Ugh!
No it wasn't good,
Great App
The layout is simple and it’s awesome to be able to preset liquid amounts I drink often (like seltzer cans or water bottle) so that they’re easy to click and add to my intake. I also like how the water in the bottle moves around if you tip your phone—though it sometimes glitches, which is fine since it’s inconsequential and a little funny.
It’s also thankfully very easy it is to go into your history and delete something if you mislog, and easy to view history in general. The daily goal setting is great too, and you get a little confetti celebration every time you reach it after missing for a day or more. The ads are minimal and always have an X (I don’t think there’s even a time limit, and if there is it’s less than 5 seconds). I probably only get one or two a day.
All in all, great app and completely worth downloading it.

Account lockout, no customer service
I love this app. I have a few minor quibbles, but I've used it religiously for months, and filling that daily bottle had definite it helped make me drink more water.

But when I first paid for premium a couple years ago, I know I created an account. When I try logging into the account on my iPad,I get an error message saying it does not recognize my email and password. However if I signed out and logged back in on my iPhone, it worked.

I've written emails to the developers a few times, and they have never responded. And now, my phone had to be sent away for repair, I am currently using a loaner iPhone, and I can't login on this iPhone either. While my regular phone is away, I can't log/save my data on either my iPad not temporary iPhone, and I also still can't get a response from the people responsible for the app. I may have to abandon it and simply cut my losses, which is very frustrating for an app than I have paid even a penny for.
CandaceSoVan,
Really love this app
My previous hydration app bit the dust, and so I went looking for a new one. Some charge subscriptions, which seems absurd. One I tried had quickly annoying sound effects that couldn’t be turned off. So far, this one is doing exactly what I need it to do. I really like being able to create custom containers, complete with pictures. It makes it extremely easy to update during the day. I paid the upgrade price to support the developer, even though I don’t need the extras. Keep up the good work!

Note: Previously I knocked off a star because I didn't think I could add to previous day's total (for example, when I'm up and hydrating around midnight), but it turns out I can! So bad on me, and good on this app!
LilTay666,
GREAT APP
I really like this app for mulitple reasons. I am a water drinker, lets just put that out there now. I probably drank about 80 oz of water every day before this app. Then I was just scrolling through health apps and I cane across this one. There were all the basic like oh "test your heart rate" "exercise log". None of those stood out to me. Then I was scrolling and I just stopped short when I saw this. One the main purpose of the app is free. All the extra features are at a cost but you dont have to do a trial or anything. So I downloaded it and lets compare before this app and after. Before I drank 80oz a day. Now I drink 140oz. This app just motivates you to keep filling up your water bottle. Drink some water instead of juice. I absolutely love!
DarkPath,
MyFitnessPal sync is broken
A week and a half ago, WaterLogged, which had served me very well since 2016, completely stopped syncing with MyFitnessPal. I attempted to triage the issue myself, including uninstalling, WaterLogged, rebooting, & reinstalling WaterLogged. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the account. Unfortunately, even though the syncing wasn’t working for a week and a half, once I disconnected, I could no longer reconnect. I emailed waterlogged support a week ago, including screenshots, after failing to resolve this issue myself. I have yet to receive even an acknowledgment of my support request. The entire reason I started using it at all was because it’s supported MyFitnessPal. Loss of that function is a complete dealbreaker for me. After I post this review, I will permanently uninstall WaterLogged.
Freelancr6,
A ‘Must Have’ for water tracking
I love this app ! Like another user I’ve used quite a few water tracking apps, but this one was exactly what I wanted & needed. While dealing with a medical condition I had to be extremely aware of my water intake, and this app helped tremendously . Now that I’m in recovery this app is still something I use daily. I love the fact that you can track other liquids while also tracking your water intake. Plus having Fitbit integration helps me track my overall health and well-being . I do wish they would add some additional liquid options like almond milk and milk based coffee verses the standard water based coffee. But as it stands this app is still amazing. I highly recommend it.
tombolt,
Frustrating! I really wanted this to work.
Well, I fell for the bait of paying to upgrade this app because it said that would allow integration with MyFitnessPal, but it doesn’t work. If I wanted to enter the data there manually, I could have done this without this app. I reported the problem... crickets! I replied to the email from the author and still deafening silence. I got on my laptop to go to their website and was told the support portal has been shut down. This is an amateur writing apps for his own enjoyment and profit without the slightest interest in service to customers. No, it’s not expensive so I’ll just chalk this one up to experience. The features that do work may be worth it if you don’t need something with all the bells and whistles of a professionally produced app. But seriously, do you not already know how to set up reminders on your phone to drink water?
