Nolea,
Same connection issues as others.
I gave it 2 stars because it used to be great and now it’s become another hassle or hurdle for those trying to lose weight. If I didn’t already own it I wouldn’t be using it and I don’t recommend it.

Tried 3 times for it to connect and record the info before it finally worked. I should have to be fiddling with Bluetooth and trying multiple times when I just want it to work correctly and to be honest the only reason people go for these scales. No update in 5 months and the last “bug fix” didn’t fix this issue.
LaraCroft_NYC,
Was good, no more with iOS 15
Scale connection with app no longer working. Support says turn off Bluetooth and back on when in app and after weighing and sometimes it will record scale data. Really? I don’t know… seems kinda inconvenient and time-consuming. They know the problem and won’t fix it?? Update: workaround: start up the app (all the way). Turn off Bluetooth and wifi (quickest to pull down iPhone control center). Wait a second. Turn both back on. Dismiss control center. Weigh in and wait for first beep. You should soon get the second beep indicating transmission of scale data. Sometimes not even this workaround works but weigh again and it might just send BOTH sets of data. (So how / where is it storing the first set?)

Update: tried to manually enter weight TWICE: doesn’t show in list (by month of all things). Must quit app, then BOTH manual entries show in list. Buggy! Also scale is now taking a long time to register weight and sometimes double beeps with new batteries.
Johnee249,
You Have A Few Problems (FIXED)
Running app on iPhone 13 ProMax. 1. App does not remember bluetooth device even though I confirm device. 2. Scale only sends reading while standing on and app is open. 3. Graph is displaying weird. Hovering over progress line displays dates from 1944, 1958 and some this year but future date! Is it firmware issue of the scale or s/w for the app? Lets get it fixed people!
Aug. 2022 (update) developer replied and informed me that latest release should have solved these problems. In fact app is now working. Good response by Greater Goods, LLC!
traveler1984,
Improved over the years
I would have given a 1 star because for years I struggled to sync this wifi scale. Before that, I had a Bluetooth one that I still hate. I’m not sure if the Bluetooth one is any better.

The wifi scale would hardly send my data to my phone instigating rage but one day after an update the company kept promising, it finally worked after every daily weigh in. It’s been working for I think a year but just leaving a review as I was scoping out other fitness apps.
HowToSyncToNewPhone,
Thank you AlFarmer!
I have been SO frustrated trying to figure out how to sync old entries to a new phone. I don’t even want to say how much time I’ve wasted. I was on the verge of doing an absurd number of manual entries. Googling lead me to your review which immediately fixed the problem in 10 seconds.

(Click the settings icon bottom right, help & customer service option, tap on help at the top 5x, this will pull up a new screen, Resync entries near the bottom…done!)
AlFarmer,
Found a way to move data to a new phone!
Missing data on your new phone? Open the app Click on Settings on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen and choose Help & Customer Service. Tap the word “Help” at the top of the screen 5 times to get the Debug Menu. Choose Resync Entries from the list to resync your History. After that is complete, go to History and see if your weight ins have returned.
Nlenzi,
Wirecutter got this one wrong.
Scale works great but what’s the point of the app stinks. I’m not sure these developers have ever seen a graph before or knows how they work. For some reason the graph doesn’t include or start with your starting weight. The only graph that’s of use is the past month because it has multiple points on it. If you move to yearly it only has the month averages so if you’ve been logging for 3 months you get 3 data points so seeing your progress with all your data points since you started is not possible. Thankful the data transfers to MyFitnessPal so I can see what I’d like but I’m not sure why this is so difficult for them.
StorkCentral,
Weight Guru: epic fail!
What a disappointment… I bought this Weight Guru scale on Sunday, but I should’ve read these reviews first, because sure enough, by the third day, it’s already stopped syncing. (And yes, I tried the “fix” posted in these reviews, which didn’t work for me.) It’s evident from all these reviews that Weight Guru knows this product has problems and has neglected or failed to adequately address the issue, since all they do to respond is cut and paste the same reply. I am returning this scale today, but now I’m wondering how many others may have done the same thing with the same device before me?
R2Ruh,
A+ customer service.
I have always received top notch customer service from Greater Goods. However, today’s experience demonstrates the high level of support. After upgrading my iPhone, I lost all previous weight readings. I emailed them at 6 on Saturday morning and before 2 pm I had a response guiding me in restoring all data in just 3 steps. You guys are the BEST!!
Jar Jar12345,
Fixed connection issue
The connection to the network issue I was having has been fixed by the support team. Very impressed with how quickly they reached out and were able to solve the problem.
