5/5 App
Very well add app, intuitive and easy to use. Highly recommend to save the scoresheets!

Mediocre
I own the board game, and I searched the App Store curious to see if the game had an app to resolve the most clumsy part of the physical game...which is flipping the cards. I was surprised to see that the app did not supplement this feature/flaw, but instead focused on replacing the pad (which I personally enjoy). There’s nothing wrong with having a paper-free option, but if it gets to that point, why not include the cards as well? I’m having a hard time picturing myself flipping the cards (which annoys me) and then going into this wonky app to fill out my town. Please consider a card replacer (charging is fine) to make the physical game even more relaxed. I’d love to see a one button tap to display all the numbers and actions/effects each round.

The app’s page does not adequately describe the product, and the app itself doesn’t include a single page describing what is, let alone how to use it. Fairly jarring to anyone I think.

Very strange decisions. If you wanted to save paper you could of made this game a complete app to begin with.

Card selector requested
I do love using this app to replace the physical score sheet. BUT, that’s literally only what it does. Would LOVE to see a generator that replaces the flipping/shuffling of the cards…THAT would be killer! Also, we would certainly pay to have this game fully function as an app…and particularly the newer “Welcome to the Moon” which would be PERFECT as an app, with the campaign mode and all.

Handy to have
If you have Welcome to your perfect home this is a great addition to the game. It takes away all the fiddley parts of score keeping. One thing missing is the ability to see the house frequency which hopefully they will add in the future.
JessicaGilstrap,
Excellent solution for playing remotely
This is a great way to play remotely or with a large group where handing out score sheets is impractical. Thanks for this!

Perfect for game play remotely
Loving having the ability to play during quarantine. Glad that this game board exists!
Dwtheriault,
Hasn’t crashed once for me
So the app is definitely better than having to keep track by paper and pencil but the UI could use a little work. Some of it is just not real intuitive but it’s easy to figure out and all scoring is done for you. Too bad it didn’t come with virtual cards as an in app purchase or I’d buy those too!
Killer_Of_Eden,
Great Idea, but needs work
The app could use a quick tutorial of how to use the interface. There were several times where I hit the wrong button and was unable to undo what I had done. I didn’t find the interface to be intuitive at first glance.

I think making the quick reference card from the game available, would be really beneficial.

The app is INSANELY glitchy! There were more turns than not that made it nearly impossible for me to select what I wanted to select. Then randomly it would begin working again. I couldn’t name my neighborhood because the keyboard won’t appear or quickly disappears before anything can be entered.

While this app is free, I think it needs a fair amount of work for it to be a functional alternative to writing on the actual pads. I prefer to save paper and use apps as a substitute, but not if the app is more hassle than it is worth. I’m sure, the app will be fantastic when the bugs are sorted through and fixed.
Smartyscarab,
Almost there
App is still a bit buggy. I’ve noticed it crashes most when going to enter in the points for Housing Estate Plans. If you’re able to enter these pts, I can’t figure out if there’s a way to mark the used estates (or another plan for the advanced variant). It’s also hard to enter the name of the city as the keyboard disappears.
lawrencelove,
App has been crashing. Needs work.
The concept is great. I haven’t been able to use it enough to determine how intuitive the interface is, but it seems decent at this point. Considering that the whole 1-100 player count thing is dependent on this app, I hope they can get it right.

The app crashes on me after my very first entry, but I guess that’s better than having it crash on me further into the game.
