One Pleased Mom
This was amazing! My son had an issue that was fairly urgent, but not an emergency and he wouldn’t be able to see our family physician for another 3 weeks. Ironically, my employer had just sent out a flyer about this telemedicine service through our insurance so we decided to try it out! I am so glad we did! The pediatrician we saw was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He provided him with treatment he would have had to wait for otherwise. It saved us from having to go to the ER! Would highly recommend this service!! Thank you!!

Excellent service
I work from home and I know my body and it’s limitations, so when I felt a UTI coming on, I logged right on and was seen by a provider in less than 5 minutes and she asked a few questions and even made suggestions about what I could do to make sure my good gut bacteria stayed in check while on antibiotics! It was great! I will use the service again when I’m not able to get to my specialist or primary for an illness. Thank you so much to Dr Laurie!

Excellent Health Option
I suffered with a chest infection for over a week but could not attend my primary care location due to their restrictions. I was able connect with an excellent emergency medicine physician who knew right away I was quite ill. He prescribed the appropriate medications and they were sent directly to my local pharmacy. The best part, Dr. Yoon called me back several hours later to follow up and see if I was having any difficulty breathing! Excellent service.

Telehealth Rookie now sold!
I had never used a telehealth service before a weekend malady made trying to “make it til Monday” uncomfortably unbearable.
My examination doctor (Dr. Allen) was awesome. She was attentive, straightforward, and keen to answer my questions and prescribe an effective course of treatment.
The experience opened my eyes to the incredible convenience and value of telehealth services. I will certainly use this service, as necessary, in the future.

Nice quick easy visit
The doctor was professional and listened to my problems regarding my sinus infection. Asked if the normal prescription works for me which it does not due to having chronic sinus issues and he adjusted the medication and sent in what I needed. Very easy and would use again.

Seriously unreliable platform for appointments
It might work to see a Dr. for a routine issue like a cough or cold but for scheduled appointments (such as therapy) forget it. I’ve had three family members each report how they can’t join the appt and get kicked out. Tried different devices, same issue over different days. We’re tech savvy and gave a solid internet connection so it’s not us. What a mess! They have no idea the problems this causes for the customer/patient and no doubt the dr thinks you just don’t know how to use tech. Not true. The links are dead and unusable.

This is a must try if you’ve never tried online doctor visits. They are very professional and helpful and will write you script for you to pick up at your nearest pharmacy after they have diagnosed your illnesses. Highly recommend!

Prices are a joke
I can pay literally $10 to drive 3 mins to a med express and get examined and the same treatment because my insurance covers it. Out of respect for not infecting others I figured I’d try virtual, but they’re asking $65 before my insurance even pays a cent. And this app is recommended by MY insurance that’ll let me pay a $10 copay at Med Express. I don’t understand the madness.

Never ending technical issues
I’m not sure how any Amwell related app can continue operating with as many technical issues as they have. I have had more appointments with issues than without. It’s sad when you pay for a premium service but don’t receive it. It’s been going on for too long, fix it.
