GREAT service - give it a try
As professional as it gets. Friendly and POLITE customer service reps working as efficiently as I’ve seen to collect necessary info. Smart doctors asking relevant questions during consultation and making sure they are meeting your needs. This service is legitimate and I would highly recommend giving it a shot the next time you need some help from the comfort of your own home. From initial outreach until the time I had the medicine I needed was only 1 hour!! No waiting rooms! No headaches! Great stuff

Needs better process for joining appointments
Update: Thanks for the prompt response WellVia. I wasn’t aware I needed to open the app at the appointment time. This should definitely be more clear when setting up the appointment. Sending push notifications from the app at the appointment time would also be very helpful and would probably cut down on the time your schedulers spend on the phone trying to sync doctors with patients. The design of the app is actually really pretty but the process for connecting with a doctor is garbage. Every time I’ve used the app I have waited at my appointment time for the app to send a push notification that my doctor is ready for my video call. Never a single notification at my appointment time. 15 to 20 minutes later I’ll finally get a non-video phone call. Talked to support and they suggested I log out and log back in again 5 minutes before each appointment. Really??!! Your whole business revolves around a mobile app that makes doctors appointments and it won’t notify me on my device when my appointment is ready? I’m supposed to know to log out and log in again? Get it together WellVia.

Physician that would not listen
It was disheartening to hear that a physician that called me refused to listen or look at my sons past history when making recommendations. Everything was over the counter and after explaining he gets bronchitis and it won’t go away until I take him to the hospital if he doesn’t have an antibiotic she stated “well you should take him to the hospital then because I’m not prescribing that”.

I have never been discredited as a mother when discussing my sons Heath. We have used WellVia before and every time got what we needed and he was good to go but this time was not the case. It’s sad my insurance pays 100% for us to use when it’s not beneficial for families. We ended up doing his Kelsey seybold doctor and getting what we needed, but it was not the experience we have had in previous years and the physicians were not well trained in customer service or how to care with compassion and listen to parents when they know their children’s history.

WellVia is great doc not so much
It’s said when we have come to a time where the doctors will not listen to the patient. I have never been treated as rudely as I was on my last visit. Once I stated I had not been vaccinated his attitude completely changed. He didn’t listen when I would answer his questions and state I didn’t ask that my question was… and it was the same question and I did answer. He also did not pay attention to my chart to see what I was allergic to even after I stated some of the drugs I am allergic to I got the same response he asked the same question again ad then sent in a proscription I can’t take and when the pharmacy asked them to send something else they said they would and a day later there still hasn’t been something new sent. My request to WellVia would be to make sure this doctor never is assigned to me or my family again!

Waste of money
I have used WellVia 4 times. The first time the appointment was cancelled because they couldn’t find a doctor in my area but never notified me. The second and fourth time, I was “seen” by a pediatrician! I am 64 years !!! Every time I was told to use over the counter medication and I would get better in 7-10 days. The third doctor eventually called in a prescription, but didn’t bother to tell me. Each time I have ultimately had to go see my physician for antibiotics. The doctors I have interacted with seem to be bothered that they are having to deal with me and won’t listen to the fact that I know shaft is going on with my body. I know when I have a sinus infection and bronchitis! I used the service because I have felt to bad to go to the doctor and the service is provided by my employer, but it is a waste of time and money!

Completely and Absolutely horrendous.
I’m absolutely and completely appalled at the insulting and rude treatment I received. I’d give negative stars if I could. Dr. Rao is a bully and insulting. He has no care for patients and zero bedside manner. I’m truly saddened at how horribly I was treated, because this tells me that others are receiving equally bad or potentially worse treatment (non-treatment) while this doctor collects a paycheck and calls patients liars when they say they have a rare disease.

Update: spoke with corporate… was told “tough luck and we hope y’all come back and see us again.” This company is scamming your health benefits for a monthly payment for their horrific service that is stocked with paycheck collecting doctors who don’t do anything but say to “go to your primary care physician” and then collect their paycheck. What a scam.

Turtle service
I am not a complainer but after waiting all morning for a doctors return call a service rep had to connect me with the doctor. He prescribed an antibiotic and it helped some what. Not enough meds and when I had to call back after four days the rep said they would need to review my request for more meds and would get back shortly. Never received a call. Long holiday weekend and I would continue to have this sinus headache and infection. It’s not COVID since I tested negative. Just a sinus infection. I should of just gone to a normal ear, throat specialist and paid $150 for a 24 turn around to feeling better. Well Via not dependable for basic needs. Sad!

Very helpful physician
Had to use the service to evaluate my son with a profound rash following a recent upper respiratory illness. The doctor was kind, asked pertinent questions, explained things in easy to understand terms, and prescribed medication that I am now able to pick up from the pharmacy. This was very helpful especially at a late hour and for concerned parents. Very much recommend this service.

First time user
Waited around an hour for a call back after request. I have a abscess/ infected tooth. It is a weekend so my dentist office is closed. The doctor informed me that it is not recommended for him to prescribe an antibiotic. He offered no other advice other than to contact my dentist (office closed for two days). So I was charged the visit fee and spoke to him maybe 2 minutes. Won’t use again.

This Service is horrible
My company switched to WellVia from medlive and we have had nothing but trouble with it. My wife called for the first time yesterday and when the doctor called her back he was driving down the road with his windows open then he just hung up. When we did get ahold of someone else they talked to my wife like she was an idiot. My son has been waiting to the doctor to call for over an hour they it texts and said the first call was missed , his phone never rang. So I’ll not be using this anymore and I’ll let my HR know that just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean better
