UPDATE RATING: Just figured it out. Whirled it around my head and made a whip motion. Worked as described.

Finally an update!
I'd been disappointed this app hadn't been updated to work in newer iOS's. So glad it got an update, perhaps we'll be seeing it again in an upcoming Big Bang Theory?

Don't know what the other recent reviews are using, but the app works fine on my iPhone 4. Just as advertised, it makes the whipped sound as you shake it back and forth.

Of the yahoos that gave this poor ratings actually READ the directions they would realize that they have to actually MOVE the phone for the app to work.

This app is awesome. For those who are not the brightest of the bunch, YOU HAVE TO MAKE A WHIPPING MOTION WITH YOUR PHONE as if it was a whip in order for it to work. It might take you some practice, but it works perfect every time I use it.

Possible Solution
Having same problem until my wife turned sound on (iPhone 4 and had it set on vibrate). Works great now!
