Description

Soundly Sleeping helps your sleep by reducing the amount of external noise you will be subject to.

It produces continuous, uninterrupted random noise that effectively cancels out other sounds. All you have to do is pick between the exact randomness that suits your audio source best: white, pink, or brown. Essentially the sound gets lower from first to last - simply try out what works best for you. Set your volume - not too loud, we don't want to hurt your ears - and have a good night's sleep!

You might also try the app in the following situations:

* On a plane and you want to relax or sleep undisturbed
* When repetitive sounds (like clock ticking or gentle snoring) keep you awake
* To mask out street noises if you live in a loud neighborhood

Give Soundly Sleeping a try if you have a headache, a migraine, tinnitus, insomnia, or you simply are looking for some privacy.

Try playing it for your kids if they won't fall asleep or your baby if it is crying.

Poetyk,
Great app
I love this app. I've had sleeping problems for years due to a ventricular concussion. I have a constant ringing in my ears and the only thing that helps me sleep and to focus is to play brown or white noise. I prefer the brown noise. This app is great. It does the trick. It helps me sleep through the night. The only thing there is no option to pause or stop on the lock screen. You have to open the app to stop the noise for any reason. I've learned to adapt to that because this app is great otherwise.
mrkga11,
It quit working today
I gave this 5 stars because I really loved the brown noise option. I have been using it quite a few months, maybe even a year. But sadly today it just quit working. Nothing. Not a peep out of it. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still nothing. I turned my phone off and restarted it. Still nothing. My volume was turned up. I still stand by my 5 stars and will really miss this app.

3.8/5 stars
This used to be my favorite app for brown noise when I fall asleep, but with the new update I can’t use it how I used to anymore. It won’t connect when I have earbuds in and I hate that I can’t continue to use this app now since it’s been my favorite for a few years now. I love putting in my earbuds and turning on brown noise to cancel all the noises out around me but now I can’t do that so I probably won’t continue to use this app. I really hope that they make it so I can use the sounds with my AirPods in again so I can use sound sleep again.
jw585,
Brown noise!
This is my go-to app to use whenever I don’t have the sound machine I use at home. The brown noise is perfect for canceling out low frequencies, like people driving or starting their cars. Other apps use recordings of noise that wake me up every time the loop is restarted, but Soundly Sleeping generates the noise based on an algorithm, so there are no disruptions to my sleep. The noise quality, along with a beautifully simple interface, makes Soundly Sleeping deserving of five stars!
WeareIM,
Works well and simple to use. A bit shady though
I like this app and use the brown noise feature at night however now they’re asking me to agree to a privacy policy however, they won’t let you read their privacy policy that you’re agreeing to. When you click the privacy policy (you have to click on the word to find it) it brings you to their website which just tells you about the app. Where is your privacy policy that I’m agreeing to? It’s not on the App Store either. Seems unclear to me.

Best App for Brown Noise
Hands down, best app for brown noise. I have had this app for years and rely on it every single night to sleep. I wouldn’t know what to do without it! Works reliably every single time. I have never had issues. Has been stable across multiple app updates and over multiple phone upgrades year-after-year. Wouldn’t use anything else! A huge thank you to the developers.
Jaya Nagarajan,
Long-time insomniac
This app has been a constant on my phone for years. I am an incredibly sensitive sleeper and also a college student, so sometimes there are sounds around me that I can’t control. And that’s when I use this app to put on some brown noise. The app itself is simple and perfect! I could not want anything more from a noise app. 10/10 I recommend it enthusiastically.

Amazing
It has NO ads and so many sound sleeping apps you have to pay for to get the best quality but with this you get different options and it makes it super easy to use. I have noticed that I have fallen to sleep a lot better with this app than other ones and it’s pretty much the exact same thing so 10/10 recommend!
Eab92,
Issues fixed
I wrote a review a few days ago about the Bluetooth issues after the recent update. Developers were quick to respond and resolve the issues. Happy to go back to using this app nightly! Thank you!! Upgrading my previous review to 5 stars ❤️
MeowKitten25,
Great app, a couple new bugs
I love the app, PLEASE make it so it still plays sound even if your iPhone is on vibrate again. It seems like they removed that functionality in the last update. I would love to be able to use the app even when my phone is muted. Also, I just noticed that when I turn off my screen, the audio stops. This didn’t happen before, please fix!
