In Wonderputt, you find yourself in a dream-like world filled with impossible perspectives, friendly animals, and incredible inventions. There's only one thing to do in a situation like this: golf! As you carefully sink the ball into each hole, the course comes to life, shifting and changing to prepare the next. Get a lift from a helpful whale, be abducted by aliens, and ride an iron girder suspended high in the sky. Nothing is too wondrous for this wild course!
Just when you think you've got it all mastered, a new challenge awaits! Simply getting the ball to the hole isn't enough if you want to get the best possible score. Plan carefully, aim precisely, and take advantage of every trick in the book. With plenty of crafty achievements to unlock, you've got your work cut out for you. Worry not: there's a practice mode that will let you hone your skills or simply enjoy a relaxing round or two on your favorite holes. Happy putting!

The 'Favorite Bug',
Frustrated, But No Regrets
My Experience: If I were to base it off here, I would rate it mildly low- mainly because I just did not like the linear perspective, granted it was obvious when looking at the page and is apart of the game design. It took me many frustrating tries to get just one hole, then again it's just me sucking at this game, so not the developer(s) fault. Would not recommend if you have limited patience, as it can be rage inducing.
Pros:
- The game's aesthetics are gorgeous- that's actually one of the main reasons as to why I bought it.
- Music: not my taste, but fits the aesthetics/ atmosphere.
- Animations: creative and eye pleasing.
- This is one of those types of games that has the ability to calm you if you have the patience to sit down and play it and not worry about the scores and whatnot.
Cons:
- Limited amount of levels. Theres not that many holes per se, and is a common con amongst the reviews.
- There's no 'restart level'. You either go with your run or you restart everything. Might be because of the limited amount of levels.
The game already says almost all of what it has to give just in the screenshots and the description, so you are getting what you're buying. Based off on the gameplay alone (and no biased emotions), it's a solid 4/5 stars for me. Not for everybody, but great game nonetheless.

The upgrade has made the game unplayable!
I’m so disappointed it the upgrade. I already owned the game. Not interested in club idea. Hate that all accomplishments lost. Thought I could just start again but nope. Unable to get past Hole 10. The graphic that counts strokes keeps flashing making it impossible to drag far enough for ball to reach lily pad. Tried resetting but didn’t help. Guess I’ll just have to delete a once beloved game. Is there any way to go to version before the upgrade? Stupid question I’m sure. Darn!

Let me start out by saying this game is gorgeous, including the music. It’s perfectly simple while easily played over and over. But it’s time. We need more courses! Would be awesome if there were 3 or 4.

Used to be a good game
I just spent some time trying to play Wonderputt. Since I bought it so many years ago, I only got a medium sized push to go to the new subscription format. Now I’m glad that I didn’t because some time in the last few years, gameplay has worsened. If you are blocked behind you like on the 10th hole, you can’t have a long enough backswing to clear the water. I seem to remember a “give up” prompt if you go over so many strokes. That seems to be gone as well. An impossible hole with no obvious way to bypass equals zero fun. There seems to be a lot of positive reviews so I guess I just don’t get it anymore. Oh well, life’s too short to deal with apps like this!

Not worth your time
I remember as a kid playing wonder putt on the computer it was one of my favorite games, I saw it in the App Store and I knew I had to try it again. When you first open the app it asks you to subscribe, then once you start playing the game about every 3 holes it pops up again asking you to subscribe, then once you get to the ninth hole you cannot progress further in the game until you subscribe I’m okay with the ads but not letting me play a game that takes 15 minutes to complete without subscribing just don’t download the game it isn’t worth it

Wow, you auto-updated Wonderputt on my devices and aside from making me livid from your invasion of control of MY game on MY devices without even asking me, YOU ERASED ALL OF MY ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS. Guess what? As a result. I will fight tooth and nail to AVOID EVER GOING NEAR YOUR “Game Club”...which appears to be a bait-&-switch auto PAY subscription service for games I don’t want, anyway. Sadly, I’ve been saying this to a lot of developers lately: THANKS for taking something really good, solid, and entertaining...and destroying it with your dang GREED! (Word of mouth will get you in the end and when it does, think of me.)

Tried to Shove Sub Down Your Throat
Firstly, the first time you open the game it tries to force you into subscribing, seemingly giving no option go opt out until you press suscribe and a small skip button appears on a corner of the screen. Then every few holes it tried to get you to sub. Game is not 3d, they try to simulate a 3d environment and quite frankly its extra work and looks bad because the textures are low res. In addition to this, due to the aforementioned simulation, the mechanics feel extra wonky.

Was a great game, but no longer worth it
When the game first released, my buddies and I loved the game immediately. It was polished, smooth, and quite enjoyable for an iPhone game at the time.
However, now they try and trick you into getting it since it is labeled as a “free” game but you are required to purchase a subscription to actually play it. It was fun while it lasted, since it is certainly not worth paying them for cheap tactics.

i remember playing this game as a kid on the computer and was happy to see it as an app. but what i didn't realize was the MASSIVE paywall the game was buried behind. the game wouldn’t even let me get past the 10th level? I really don’t care that there’s a subscription that gives me other free games; i wanna play this one, thats why I installed it. why even let people download a third of a completed game?

Honestly, I love this game! I would have paid a lot more than a dollar for it! Definitely recommend if you just want to relax with clean graphics and gameplay.
