Woody Cross: Word Connect Game Hack 2.9.4 + Redeem Codes

I appreciate that the creators of this game, while similar to others available, made it far more suited to the user experience. There are ads, but it is an affordable one time charge to get rid of these. Unlike other apps of this kind, Woody Cross allows you to regularly earn actually usable points to continue playing instead of being all about getting people to spend endless amounts of money, or continuously stopping play for endless ads. I love the Daily Quests! By completing the Daily Quest, I can earn enough coins for a couple of free hints a day, or choose to allow an ad to double these points and earn more free hints. I now play this game instead of Wordscapes every day and will continue to choose this one. I have chosen to purchase one of the hints packages when it was on sale knowing that this is a game I will want to continue to play rather than abandon after getting annoyed with continual purchases being the only way to keep playing. The creators of this game clearly realize that appreciating the customer keeps them playing and allows them long term earnings. The only improvement I would suggest is to add a tournament option. A tip to other players - find all of the word combinations that you can before looking at the board. This allows you to earn more coins for bonus words instead of only focusing on the required words to complete the level. More coins = more free hints to keep you going! This game mostly asks for things you have a chance of getting, but has a mechanism to give credit for rare or archangel things if you know extra words at that level. So it’s really fun to be able to move pretty effectively through the game without ending up blocked early on by the game getting too hard too fast. But it also lets you try (as much or as little as you want) for extra words that are in there! I love that combination. Add in the ability to earn some hints for those times when you get stuck, and it all works really well!!! Although there are some ads, the cost for the ad-free version is not high, and either way it’s one of the better games out there!

I really love this game, as a previous reviewer said, it is an honest game. You can watch ads to get free coins as well as purchase same. The puzzles are challenging even at the earlier level, where I am now. I am trying to build my coins up for the more difficult levels for which I am sure I will need them.

There is one thing I noticed, though, that you need to fix, and that is on the leaderboard when you go to input your player name, no matter what name I use, the response comes up “use an appropriate name.” At first I thought it was just me until I looked down and saw almost every single player with just a generic player, name and number. It would be nice if you could fix this so that we could actually have names attached to the leader board. (Now I can’t even get back into the name slot.)

This game is mildly entertaining and sometimes makes you think. The problem is that the same puzzles repeat pretty quickly, and a worse problem is that the game allows the developers to use slang and sounds which people use that aren’t actually words, such as “ooh” and “coco”. I’ve heard of Coco Chanel, but if we are using proper names and foreign languages the answer could be anything. They frequently use blah, yep, yup, and other sounds. Why not teach those who don’t spell well to spell properly? They also use prefixes and suffixes to stand for words. It seems they choose words that don’t make good puzzles just as “filler”.

Maybe these are words included in some dictionary but when I went to school they would never have been accepted. I’m not a snob, but I just think it could have been much better.

This game is fun to play, but I wish on some easy words it would use different words instead of their standard words. Some of the smaller words seem to be a staple and there is no challenge if most 3 letter words are the same in every game. I want a bit more of a challenge. The best part of the game is you get to play 2-3 levels before being hit with an ad. I had just deleted a game after 2 days as after every level you were barraged with ads. No thank you. I understand that is the cost of a free game but enough is enough, I just delete annoying games. My time is also valuable. Thank you.

My husband and I enjoyed playing the game every morning (staying on the same level) so we purchased the ad free upgrade. This was pretty good until lately when a recent update has started a flyover ad. While you’re trying to work on the puzzle it starts going across your screen and is too distracting to continue enjoying the game. I’m holding on to hope they will remove this aggravating ad ploy at least for paid version. It’s totally worth the paid app upgrade other than this one annoyance. I will update this review if anything changes.

I played for several months and enjoyed good selection of words even though some I hadn't seen before, but appreciated the built in dictionary to look them up; ads were infrequent and manageble; the nature pictures were beautiful colors; and the Daily Puzzle was fun until it stopped working sometime after level 2450. Also, some levels before that, the game would skip the last of the 4 "earned" pictures with the 1000 points! That was very disappointing, especially when I was looking forward to seeing the beautiful tiger picture.

I am 75 and I have been playing Woody Cross for a few weeks and have solved approx. 232 puzzles. I love learning and a challenge like the Woody Cross app keeps me alert and entertained. I play as soon as I get up in the morning with my coffee when I am groggy and it makes me think which helps me wake up faster. The ads are brief and I have downloaded some of the games. Thanks to the developers
For providing a game that is free and stimulating!!

My personal preference is to have a game that can be used in the rotation that allows a wider picture of the game I am playing. It makes it easier to see and to prop up to allow my iPad case to hold it in place. I hate a screen that cannot rotate. Too bad, because it spoils my enjoyment for this game. I know I will not choose a game that does not have this ability ever again.

I have played many different types of word games, and this is the best one by far! I use word games for therapeutic purposes as I have had a couple of strokes. I use the games to help keep my brain as sharp and functional as possible due to the constant decline of my brain function. Thank you so very much for your efforts, developers!
