Word chums
Had to write a review about this one, been meaning to do it and then I hit the wrong button, the no thanks one. This is the best word game and I have played a few! It is sooooooooooo much fun, the chums are so cute, you want to make a good word, because the chums look so sad and yes sometimes mad when you don't! They just put a smile on your face and at the same time you are using those little grey cells, it is great! And the makers of this did an outstanding job the way everything works so smoothly, great, great job!Have been playing this now for a few years since this review still love it except for the letters that you are given especially when a new game is started,either they give you mostly vowels or no vowels without fail. Takes the fun out of the game, so please fix this! Sadly the issue I had to write about has not been fixed,I actually paid for this game but if there is no improvement with the above issue I will be deleting this game after quite a few years, what a shame!and the problem has not been fixed turn after turn had to swap letters could not score any points,what fun is that?will be deleting this!

Very Addicting!
Love this game. I have played for over a year now and look forward to playing every day. You can play as much or as little as you want. You can play with friends or a "chumbot" on the difficulty level of your choosing... or you can let the game choose your player, which is usually very close to your level of play. Chat is available if you want social interaction and you can link to Facebook so you can play with your friends. As you work through the levels, you can play for the fun of it or challenge yourself by working through the quests set forth within the game. Group play is a plus and lots of fun if you want to play with a group of friends. In-game purchases are available for boosts and extra coins as well as items to make your character your own. These items are collectively stored for you to use again and can be upgraded to help you move through the levels faster. Overall, a top-notch game! If you love word games, this one is a winner!

I love those little cartoon fellas and all their different expressions. I have just begun playing word chums and already I am addicted. Super enjoyable! Addicting! Brain exercise! Get to play internationally! Word Chums is my buddy. Keeps me company anytime. The new quick game is most enjoyable. I can play so many in an hour! In between painting, reading a book, cooking, marketing, cleaning, socializing, I turn in to Word Chum to switch in a new mood. A mental rest. Anti dementia! Word Chums is my constant buddy! I can play Word Chums for hours! I love love love this game! Greatest game ever! I cannot survive the lockdown without my Word Chums! I love changing my costumes! Word Chums is the best Scrabble game! I love this game! With practice, I observe myself improving! Great game! Awesome way to sharpen the brain! Awesome game! NOT REALLY FIVE STAR
THIS EXCEPTIONALLY FUN, INTERESTING AND COMPLETELY ADDICTIVE GAME IS REALLY A 10 STAR GAME !!!! Of all the computer games WORD CHUMS is the most fun and by far the most interesting. I tell my friends it is scrabble with a BIG TWIST and when they downloaded the free app and started to play, they immediately become addicted, as I am. I find myself even taking my iPad in the bathroom in the middle of the night to play!!!!! NOW THAT IS ADDICTED!!!!! I have played Scrabble and Words With Friends and they were fun but WORD CHUMS is by far not only superior to them but also THE BEST GAME ON THE COMPUTER. When you get set up, you MUST take a few minutes to read the rules because if you just start playing, thinking it is just scrabble, you are missing out how to really play the game and you are loosing out on points that you could really be getting. Give his game a chance and you will immediately LOVE IT. I guarantee it!!

Great Game!
I used to play Words with Friends, but my cousin told me about Word Chums. I stopped playing it and told family and friends and now they are enjoying it too! I like the Bomb, the Hint and tapping a word to see the definition! Thanks! I still don’t like the large banner that comes up after you play! I know there were lots of negative comments when it changed. It blocks the board and you have to wait until it disappears before you play. But otherwise it is a great game. P.S. I find several words they don’t recognize, which are words. Still feel it’s a great game... but I still don’t like the large banner coming up to tell whose turn it is!😥 I still find several words that aren't recognized, but are words. I still feel the same about the big banner. It's annoying.

Fun game, and more
I have been playing Word Chums for quite a while. I actually even spend the money and bought the pro version to get rid of the ads. I enjoy it so much! I like how the letters turn green when it is a word. You can play with Random people or friends you know. I have some random people I have been playing now for over a year and have chatted a little with them. Usually just find out what state they're from and wish them merry Christmas, stuff like that. The game is a lot of fun and I have my sister playing me on a regular basis. That's really nice because I don't get to see her very often. It is a way we can keep in touch and do something together. It doesn't take that long to play and it makes you think. Good quick diversion from life's stress. It's a great game!

Much Better than Words with Friends
Word Chums is more fun than WWF because it gives you more playing options - up to four people can play against each other in one game or they can form teams of two and play a team game. The avatars are fun and as you earn coins, you can “buy” various accessories for your avatar to wear. That probably sounds a bit goofy but it’s really fun. Any my favorite feature is the star ratings for words that you play. If you put down a word and Chums tells you that it would be worth 34 points if you played it but also only lights up two stars (for example), you know that there is a much better word to play somewhere on that board. And it will tell you when you’ve found the best possible word. All in all, it’s a much more engaging and fun experience than WWF.

Love this game. Just wish the developers would take some of the players suggestions seriously, like let the2nd and 3rd place winners wear the red and yellow ribbons.
Update: developers are still not listing to players about giving second and third place winners a red or yellow ribbon. Some players are discouraged because they never get a ribbon or recognition for 2nd and 3rd place. Would love to see some better monthly shopping choices. Would love to see them be more creative. Also when swapping or using a bomb even though it shows good tiles available you end up with 5 ones and can’t play anything. You wasted your bomb. I still gave the 5 stars because I love the game but am afraid I will lose a lot of friends playing the game because they are getting pretty unhappy over these issues.

So Much Better than Words with Friends
More exciting, bigger word scores, bigger game scores, more! Valid words are highlighted as tiles are placed, so you don't waste time on trying unacceptable 'words'. Hints are available on where best word would be played (or at least, better word than you have found). Score for your current (but not yet played) word shows how it compares to best possible word, eg, less than 25% of possible points, 25-49%, 50-74%, and 75%-“Best Word”. Can play against friends, randomly, or against Chumbots (computer) at levels from very easy to very hard. All in all, it's so much better than Words with Friends that WWF has become boring. You gotta try it. (Sorry for sounding like a commercial, but it's that good.)

Best game ever!
I am a wordie, love games like Word Whomp and was a huge YUGE scrabbled until Word Chums! What a fun game. I love the abundant triples and most of all, the definitions available by clicking! Oh! Did I mention the ability to see a legal word appear when you’re just seeing if maybe that letter could work, and Aha! It does… or doesn’t. Best game ever! Thanks!
