Addition ... The “factoids” offered at the end of each game are terrific. Even for someone addicted to little obscure facts, these are a rare treat.

Enjoying this game enormously. But can’t seem to find details on how things work ... I’ve learned by trial and error, which has cost me coins.

I’d suggest a little more generosity with those coins. How about a few coins reward at the end of each level. Or a surprise bonus for a particularly difficult word. When I exhaust my coins, I’ll probably move on ... don’t want to fall into the “purchase” trap. But meanwhile, it’s one of the best word games out there. Thumbs up!

Update ... I’ve completed all the puzzles and eagerly await the new ones each week. I now rarely need coins and make sure I do the daily puzzle for 20 coins ( if you don’t miss a day ). I learned to never “ buy my way out” of a puzzle because you only get to move ahead one time and then have to go back to finish the one you paid a penalty to get out of. Don’t ever do that. Just pay for a couple of hints. And never use “sprinkle” ... a total waste. Choose “vowels” instead.

The puzzles are brilliantly constructed with related terms and associations positioned adjacent to each other in the puzzle. Best online game ever! 👍👍👍👍👍

I once rated this game 4 stars - almost 5 if my first two suggestions had been implemented. I’ve enjoyed this game for a few years. It’s been part of my daily routine. Topics are interesting, and I learn new things. A few preferred tweaks: 1. Re-sort Genius Cards to have unused on the top. It’s obnoxious to have to sloooowwwwllllly flip through dozens and dozens to find one. I have to go slow bc if I miss it, I have to start all over again. 2. Option to confirm hint and reveal theme or place those buttons at top. Because of where the buttons are located, I’ve accidentally touched one or the other and wasted coins without meaning two. 3. *Most importantly* Bring back the daily puzzle, even if it’s for less coins. Or certain amount of coins based on how fast it’s solved. I looked forward to those shorter puzzle opportunities as well as the ability to add to my coins just by being a loyal daily player. I realize y’all gotta make money, but this is a make or break feature for me - and for several others, it would seem.

I am extremely disappointed that this app is no longer adding new puzzles. It seems the daily may end soon. This was a wonderful game that taught while being fun.

This is a great app! I’ve learned, I’ve laughed and I’ve gotten frustrated but worked it out! It can be very hard in some puzzles, however so far I have found my way to finish every puzzle. I do like that you are able to go back and “redo” puzzles to get more genius cards. If you love crosswords, jigsaws, or any game app, I highly recommend this app. If you think you are really smart and like a challenge this is it. Think you’re not so smart, this helps you become smarter. This is definitely my favorite game, puzzle, app ever!

I have been playing this game for a couple years and enjoy it but I give it only four stars until the developers make it easier to find the available genius cards that you have earned. Because I have completed many levels and earned 100’s of genius cards I cannot understand why the available ones do not sort to the top of the stack instead of having to tap the screen to advance through the stack one at a time. With no way to go to backwards, if you miss one you must go all the way through again to find it. And since the game does not tell you what genius cards you have available you find yourself going through them only to find that you do not have any must use coins to unlock one. I don’t mind using coins to unlock a genius card but only after I use the free ones I have earned first. Ridiculous.

I enjoy this brain teaser every day when a puzzle is available. The game is challenging and I learn interesting facts as I play. I look forward to playing it as It is by far the best word game I have tried and highly recommend it if you like a challenge. My only criticism is that I often have to wait more than a week at a time (sometimes two) for a new puzzle to appear. I must constantly go to the APP store to see if I need to update the puzzle. I wish puzzles were installed more quickly. On a positive note, when I have had a question the developers are Johnny on the spot. . I just wish the games would appear as quickly.

A real challenge. My only critique is that once one is stuck there is no avenue forward. Don’t get me wrong, there are some tile checks and “factoids” embedded in the puzzle, and one can earn bonus cards (like fee vowel placement, free placement of several letter, etc) but some could use a tiny bit more introduction / hint at the subcategory.... BUT, I say this probably because I am currently stuck. One either solves the puzzle, Googles like mad and waits a couple days for inspiration, or one quits. So far the first two and not the latter. Frankly, this is the most fun and challenge I have had with word puzzles, and I am normally not a crossword fan. Try it, no really try it and you will like it.

Really enjoy this game. It’s challenging but not punishingly so, and it’s actually taught me things that make me want to learn more. BUT. If you need tech support, be prepared to be disappointed. I would love to be able to buy the game outright once and for all to avoid ads, but that’s not an option. So I decided to buy $5 worth of coins just so I could get 30 days ads-free. I received the coins but still saw ads. I contacted the company via its website and got a pretty prompt reply, but they just said for me to force-quit the game (which didn’t help) and they’d investigate the issue. That was in December. It’s now April. I’ve reported it twice now, using two different email addresses, and followed up with multiple polite emails. Besides their initial reply, they haven’t done a thing.

This is the most interesting word game I’ve played so far. I have really enjoyed learning about the categories, figuring out what to look up, and being surprised by what I did (and didn’t) know. Patience helps, as I have had to stop working a category and play the daily challenge a few days to accumulate enough coins for hints before continuing.
My only major problem is ads with sound. I have to mute my phone so I don’t disturb others, and I forget to turn it back on. Wish I could mute the game without muting everything on the phone.
Keep the categories coming. Happily waiting for the next one.

I enjoy this game a lot! Beware that the “reveal theme” button is in a bad spot if you “rest” your thumb during play - you may accidentally hit it which will cost you 25 coins. I would suggest making it perhaps a genius card. Game is fun, and it’s always nice learning new things. Great concept, and my husband and I play as a team sometimes. Could be great family fun. I’m only giving four stars because you can’t move on until you pass each category or keep buying new ones. Some can be very difficult, so you’re stuck. Maybe you could be given three free “pass” cards and then option to buy them with coins. Customer service is awesome!

Originally gave a four star rating (see below) but now it has been several months since new categories have been added and this week, the daily puzzle has seemed to be discontinued. I have received no response from the support team. I’m giving up
on what was once my favorite game.

**Checked in this morning like I do every morning to play the daily puzzle and hope to see new categories added (it’s been weeks since a new category has been added.) To my dismay, today not even the daily puzzle is posted. There is an icon below the owl figure that says “daily puzzle.” When I click on that it says the daily puzzles are available but need to be downloaded. It says the puzzles can be downloaded but nothing happens when I try.**
