I need help!
I’ve been playing this game for quite a while and love it! For the past couple weeks, after I play one round, usually after the daily puzzle, the screen goes black and I can’t get it to restart. Getting out and back in, doesn’t help. I usually just quit & try the next day.
I finally just quit playing 4-5 days ago. Thought I’d try again today, with the same results. I thought maybe I’d try to delete the app & reload. That’s when I saw other complaints. I have an Ipad, probably 3 yrs old. I have 6 other MobilityWare apps that I play every day with no problems. Help!

Update: I was disappointed to see a form letter-type response to my review. There doesn’t seem to be any plan in place, or being developed, to address this issue. Guys, how difficult can it be to address a user’s legitimate problem or suggestion specifically? You aren’t having to deal with a lot of them every day. Take 10-30 minutes each day and make your customers feel valued with a response addressing their specific review. Repeatedly using identical form letters to respond to your customers makes them feel demeaned and unappreciated, and I felt like I had just been brushed off and dismissed. So, I’m going to “dismiss” (read “delete”) this game.
When I saw this in the App Store, I thought, “Finally! A word game that is substantially different than the others!” And it is! Gameplay is unlike any other word game I’ve found. It’s enjoyable, if not particularly challenging. My problem with this game are the liberties taken with the words and phrases used as answers to the puzzle. I’m not sure where the creators of the individual puzzles are from, but often the answer has little to no connection to the stated category. With a little care and creativity, this game can make sense in addition to being quite a bit more challenging.

I like the game itself but . . .
I like the game itself. Fun and interesting puzzles. Even with the more obscure titles, I can usually guess correctly within the bonus limit.
While there are advertising videos, they typically play between rounds; or in the middle of a round only when you’ve left the app for some reason. And the ads usually may be fast- forwarded (cut short) after a few seconds; you rarely have to sit through a 30 second ad.
Three is a serious bug, though. More often than not after an ad plays, the screen goes dark instead of going back to the game. And when I say “more often than not” I mean it quite literally; more than half the time you won’t be returned to the next game after watching the ad. You have to close the app and reopen it; not that it’s too terrible a chore, but it does get quite annoying.

Lot’s of fun yet difficult categories as I believe some things are not necessarily correct. I still love the challenge! I finished the game with over 2000 questions. It is clearly the best game ever! So I downloaded it again and hope that new questions are added. There are a few minor glitches, but nothing to stop e from enjoying challenging myself. 10 stars !! Several misspelled question. For example: the old man and the sea is spelled incorrectly as old mank and the sea. This type of error uses up many points. I have found 6 such errors. Still love the best game available 😘

This would be fun except...
The program keeps going black and has to be turned off cleared off my phone and restarted. In the category for famous people I tried to solve one by guessing Johnny Depp. Not hard to spell but once entered it told me I was wrong. After the next attempt which told me I was wrong I continued thinking I was way off. By the way my spelling was accurate. I played on and with only one letter missing, the Second P in Depp, I pushed the solve button and it finally took the answer. Keep in mind, I’m not saying that I don’t ever make mistakes and hit the wrong button on the keyboard but I did not this time. Once it didn’t accept the first try to solve I double checked my spelling and it was spot on. I would say this game needs a lot of work to fix bugs. I love Mobility Ware games but this needs more work.

Great game!
UPDATE: spoke a little too soon, whoops lol I’m also experiencing the black screen issue it seems, isn’t a huge deal but a little annoying. The problem seems to be when screen rotation isn’t locked and if I’m laying in bed for example and roll over, the black screen will appear after my screen is rotated from portrait to landscape.
Loving this game so far! I have bad anxiety I’m always looking for games that are put my brain to use but not so much that it makes my anxiety worse. This seems to do the tricks and best of all, the ads aren’t as intrusive as some other games. Can’t wait to keep playing!

Great Twist!!!
I just loaded this game less than a week ago and I already love it!! You’ve taken one of my favorite games and twisted it into a new favorite!! I think I’m on the 5th pack and I started playing yesterday. Very relaxing word game. I’ve always been hooked on word games and I still do the puzzles in a book 📖!! Thank you for this new approach to an already great game!! Your team is quite amazing. I also play your solitaire games including castle, crown and a few others not to forget Mahjong!!! I have enjoyed every game that I have downloaded from your team!!!

Please Help!
I’ve been playing this game every morning, along with several other Mobility games, as part of my “get my brain up and running” session. Until recently, that is.
I’ve reached puzzle #1974, and have enjoyed the various themes made available for my choice. Until they weren’t made available any more. The last 31 times I’ve completed a theme and should have had choice of a new theme, I was limited to choosing either “Places” or “1990’s.”
In fact, the last 10 times, I wasn’t given a choice. The windows said “Theme 1” and “Places.” Tapping “Theme 1” got no response, so those last ten times I played “Places.”
As a final frustration, now the theme never completes. Every puzzle that comes up is “The Eiffel Tower in Paris.” Scout’s honor.
I’ve finally given up. All I play is the daily puzzle.
I tell you sincerely that Word Search has been my favorite word puzzle until these bizarre things started occurring. I surely hope you can straighten this out.
Oh, one more thing: I’ve intermittently had the black screen problem that other players have mentioned. Not lately, though. Just “The Eiffel Tower in Paris” over and over and over.........

Fun concept!
I don’t normally enjoy this particular type of word game because they’re usually too dull. But adding the twist of trying to uncover and solve phrases adds a strategy hook that these apps normally lack.
The game skews very easy for my tastes but there’s an upside to that, it makes it good to relax with.
I recently had a trial subscription to Apple Arcade which I cancelled because I couldn’t find any games worth keeping a subscription for. But this game is better than anything I found on Apple Arcade.
I would have given this game five stars but I had a deduct a star because it has an incomplete dictionary. I always test these games to see if they will accept certain “adult” words and this one clearly has some limitations. When I have the letters on the board for a word that will give me a blank tile or potentially reveal much needed letters in the hidden phrase, preventing me from using that word due to unnecessary censorship detracts from the gameplay.
The game skews very easy for my tastes but there’s an upside to that, it makes it good to relax with.

This is a fun game, however, it would be much better if there were an option to remove ads.

I have played plenty of other free games that also rely on the revenue from ads to help further the development of their free games and updates as well.
That being said, they all have provided an option for the player to pay $0.99-$1.99 in order to have the ads removed to avoid the overwhelming amount of ads that constantly interrupt gameplay. That $0.99-$1.99 option is something that needs to be considered for the future.
I know this doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things, but because of this inability to be able to prevent the ads from being forced upon me I will no longer be playing this game, and have removed it from my phone.
