Onepoormrm,
Great Studies
This has been a great app for several of the studies that I have now completed. It is nice to have the option to use either with a group or personally. I have only used it personally and usually in the summer months since I am active the rest of the year in a BSF group. It took me a while, though, to learn how to navigate between the scripture, to the questions, the notes, and the lecture. The confusion for me was that I was clicking on the lecture before I had finished the lesson. I do like that the notes are broken down into the daily study to be read after the questions are answered rather than wait until the end for reading all of the notes. I also would like to have the landscape option with my iPad use. Overall, the studies are each just amazing information and challenges in my personal study. Navigation is just a bit challenging for the app. Thank you for wanting feedback and for continuing to work on the technology. I do know that BSF is developing the technology at an incredible rate over the past few years!
tribeof9,
Have enjoyed the studies but it gives answers
This app is pretty good for a shortened version of BSF. I have done two different studies with two different women’s groups and it has created some pretty good conversation. I don’t feel like I get a whole lot out of the study but the conversations it creates are good. Sometimes the thought questions in the app seem to come out of nowhere and are a stretch to apply to the lesson.

What I don’t like about it is it gives “insights” for almost every question, and tells you the answers. The first time I did the study, it didn’t give those insights to all the members of the group, only the leader. That was helpful and forced the members to think about the questions instead of just looking at the answers. But this time everyone has the insights. I wish they hadn’t changed it. I also have some who would rather have it printed than doing it on a phone. I wish there was that option.
shamazing8,
WordGo by BSF is solid biblical learning
I was so blessed when I found BSF and again when WordGo came out. I do both and love the depth of biblical learning and guidance. It is easy to navigate and the lectures and daily audios help pull it all together. I love that you can select are study time, how many days etc and that the app will prepare the daily lessons based on such. I’ve shared it with many friends and am helping them understand how to use it. I also love the tutorials on how to lead a group etc.

A couple of things that I think can be improved in the app:
1. The daily reminder does not seem to keep up with where I am at in the study. If I do an extra day or two, it reminds me to do the next day vs intuitively knowing I’ve already done those days.
2. I’d love to see the option added to read an introduction to the book chosen to study; or at least a reminder to those using the app to read the introduction in their study bibles. If one does not have a study bible, having it on the app would be helpful for the reading to understand who wrote the book, when, to what audience etc…
3. When trying to set up the group with my daughter I couldn’t get it to conclude the set up. She did finally get it but trying to schedule the time etc. I’ll have to play with it more.

Thankful for this great app and I have no doubt that you will continue to make improvements and address any app issues.
M Tina,
Excellent studies/Work in progress
I love the studies in this app. They are in-depth and allow for great discussion and discovery. In addition, the notes and the lectures really cater to the different ways everyone learns. This is a great way to understand God’s word though the teachings of the Bible.

The app itself takes some getting used to. The navigating can sometimes be glitchy and inconvenient. Also, as I can figure this app is only for the phone. This is becoming a barrier for some of my older family members who already are not used to technology. If possible, making this app tablet capable will make it a little better. Also, there is no way to print out information (though that might be by design).

All in all I enjoy this app. We will be starting our third study in 1 and 2 Thes next Monday. Thanks for giving us another way to know God’s word.
CNLB,
First group study finished
Just wrapped up a Sept - May study using your John series as a guide for our womens group. The study was a great tool for some of the women, especially breaking the personal studies into 6 days per week. Many of the women in my group were new to Bible study and commented that this aspect was helpful and really got them into a good routine. Great reviews overall from the group. The notes and lectures were helpful and insightful, and having the scripture on the phone was also very helpful.

The app has a few quirks to it - it doesn’t pull up well during the study (at least on my phone) so that I can see the answers I’ve written. It tries to give me the keyboard to type but then it covers the answer or it won’t let me see all I’ve put down. Maybe allowing you to save an answer so it won’t bring up the keyboard would be helpful.

The app also logs out instead of keeping you logged in so an option to remain logged in would be good.

One other suggestion would be having a link into the scripture references when they are put into a question - this would be especially helpful for leaders during the time we gather.

Other than that, the content, questions, notes, lectures all made for a wonderful first study for our group! Thank you BSF. We are heading into Joshua next.
KindFierceKendra,
Really meaty, tiny inconveniences but WORTH IT
Highly recommend the Ephesians study as your first one!

I REALLLY appreciate this app, you get to choose your timing pace and dig deep into small section of scripture each day. It makes for such a sweet time with Jesus. The questions are SO simple, DEEP and practical. Quick to the heart and the insights are beyond my train of thought and make me excited to glean.

It’s a bit difficult to explain the tiny inconveniences without a visual showing but for me it happens when I type in the box to answer the questions, the page will not move with my typing so I have to stop, scroll and then continue typing to read. It truly IS NOT that big of a deal at all, but I do think a developer could finagle a better way for the page to grow as we type. With this, when reviewing answers we have to scroll through the box as well, if the box would grow with the length we typed then when we are discussing it could be easier to see the entire answer in one views I hope this makes sense! 😆
Getting all our group on the same page on how to navigate discussion together isn’t the easiest but it has produced laughter!

Overall 💯 recommending this app to everyone, once you select a study and do one day I think you’ll be won!

P.S. You are impacting everyone you’ve ever known, You ARE awesome and Jesus loves you and cares for you So deeply. May this season of your life overflow with HEAPS of laughter!
Jrs - user,
Living loving learning
I found this app very easy to navigate but there is some room for improvements which I’ve already seen some come through in the updates. Most importantly it is a wonderful way to study God’s word. The study notes each day are a nice added touch. The application questions make examine yourself and are great during group discussions. I’ve done two studies so far using Zoom video conferencing to do groups. I especially love that the length of the studies are around 4-5 weeks. I’ve seen comments about all questions not showing up. The app lets you select how much time you want to devote to study each day. If your time is short, then you won’t see all the questions. However if you have just 20 minutes each day, I think you will see them all. Thank you BSF, you are a blessing!!
Leash Holder/Mom/walking buddy,
Love this!
I have loved having this option for personal Bible study! Thank you for making this accessible and easy to use.

My one request: I wish there was a way to opt-out or not automatically advance the study days. As much as I want to use this daily, life gets in the way. If the next day is suppose to be week 1 day 3, I wish the app would “stay” on that day until I’ve completed that day. It’s frustrating to try to remember where you are especially if you miss a couple of days and the app auto-advances to the next week. I’ve even seen some Bible study apps with a “catch me up” feature that reverts back to the last completed day and that would also be a good option.
Ishcampmom,
Wow! Great way to connect with friends and God!
When the CoronaVirus hit, there were about 9 of us from different cities (and states) who wanted to connect to each other and to the Bible to seek help and guidance during this time of isolation and loneliness. I had heard of WordGo and wanted to try it. I appreciate how the app dine tunes it for you—how many days you want to study, trainings for the host, answers to questions, reminders on your phone to study (if you choose). We started with the 4 week Ruth study and it was amazing how applicable it is to what’s going on in the world right now. We also appreciated the podcast/lecture as well as the notes.
One of the women in the group liked it so much she is going to start another group using it too.
Well done WORDGO.
Rosaterp,
It’s Pretty good, but a long way from completely User Friendly
The information is good, but your app is not user friendly. I too have received the message that I could not use the email because it was being used- by me! My whole class had an issue getting access to the studies. We had to type out the questions for the class. Also, your lectures are not Deaf friendly. I used a second email as a teacher and still had issues closing out the class and beginning a new one. I think you should eliminate the need for a teacher to close out the class before we can start a new study. Also eliminate the limitations of one lesson per week. If I am studying on my own, I may finish in a week. Also it would be nice if i could have access to more than one study at at time if i choose like YOUVERSION and their Bible reading plans. Bless you all for making this available. I am trusting it will become more user friendly as the months go on.

Also, I cannot use it in portrait view on my IPad.
I copy all your info into my NOTABILITY app to make it more me friendly.

Blessings for your hard work. I am sure when you get these glitches out, it will be FANTASTIC. Cheers.
