XYZmaker 3DKit is a 3D modelling and design app developed for beginners new to the 3D world. It is perfect for fun, educational, colorful and artistic model creation and 3D printing all in the same program.
Designed for use in and out of the classroom, creating models is as simple as dragging 3D solids and other pre-designed parts from the menu, you can also use a variety of modeling tools – extrude, revolve, sweep, loft, and freeform to create diversity 3D models. Design your desired 3D models with a wide variety of 3D modeling tools. You can even upload your 2D photos and turn them into 3D embossed models.
Once you got a model, it is easy to paint and sketch on it. Creating a colorful 3D world can be real. Once created a 3D model, you can easily print or share the creations with friends and family.
XYZmaker 3DKit has refined the 3D design to printing workflow, and added a color drawing option to truly customize your design. You can now design and directly print to XYZprinting printer all while using just one program. Once printing, it also has a print status monitor to keep you updated.

I couldn’t get anywhere with it because every time I tried to login/sign up it wanted to send me something to my email which I never got even after several times it would not work it would only try to get me to reset my password which I did not need to do.😒

Can’t connect
You need to sign in using an XYZ account. All I get is an error when I try — even though my profile page pops up just fine. Too buggy.

Need better instructions
The app gives almost no information on how to connect your printer. Sure there’s a website showing you how, it tells you that there is a set up printer bar, but it is not there. Please tell me how to set up printer or give better instructions.

It’s a great start
Great start for a free modeling software. I am unable to import anything. STLs opened in the desktop xyzMaker and saved as an AMF will import but will not open. Needs to be able to open STLs.

Designing something is incredibly frustrating. It keeps glitching up. It doesn’t do what you want it to, like simply combine two objects. It’s ridiculous
