Minor UI changes

Lots of minor tweaks to improve game play and interface
Three particular changes:
1. You can now select how the Upper Section total is reported. Either the straightforward total OR a countdown to the 63 points needed to receive the 35 point bonus.
2. ScorePad view now reports all current stats while you play so a quick switch to that view lets you see how you are doing.
3. YahScore. This is a new completely self-contained scorekeeping mode built into Yachats. It allows you to use the familiar interface of Yachats to scorekeep a "real" 5-dice game for up to 5 players. Score entry is highly automated and convenient. Compare players scores at a glance.

1. Now includes Yachats bonuses in Yachats score on main screen. Previously they appeared only on scorecard.
2. Cosmetic updates, nicer buttons etc.

techlanika,
Yachats is the best!
Yachats is a wonderful app, much better than similar apps that I've tried. It has beautiful graphics and a clean, uncluttered interface. It has many nice features that other apps just don't have. In addition, support for this app is awesome! Many thanks to the developer for keeping Yachats updated!
vickers_d,
Awesome app!
It’s a great app. I’ve been using the app for years. It’s smooth, and easy to play. I’d highly recommend it!
meangn,
Finally
Thank you for finally updating this app. I love this game and it addictive
ummjhall,
The best Yahtzee iPhone game
This is definitely the best of any yahtzee or similar game I've tried on the iPhone.
It looks great, it's intuitive, you can see everything all at once, and it has an incredibly smooth feel (why do I feel like 'smooth' should be spelled 'smoothe'?).
I would most certainly recommend this app.
There are a couple of features I would like to see in an update - playing against the computer would probably be the biggest one, and then more minor things like different types of dice (eg traditional white with black dots) and perhaps the ability to play with more than 2 players (though I haven't needed that so far).
Keep up the great work!

Also, Yahscore is another great app by the same people if you are looking for a yahtzee scorecard (and it's free!).
lindac,
Not bad
There are a ton of Yahzee® style games out there, and more than a few for the iPod Touch and iPhone. This one fits somewhere in the high end of the middle. I like the screen display, and I like the colors. I would like to see something that indicates when I have gotten to 63 pts. on the upper half. I would also like to see something that indicates that I have scored additional Yachats. If you do not already have a game like this for you iPod Touch or iPhone, this one will do nicely. However, it doesn't bring anything new to the table.
Real Music-Not Rap,
Great game
Despite the goofy name this is one of the best versions of Yahtzee I have ever played on the iOS. It's stable, and the visuals/graphics are very pleasing and fun. The only thing I can think of to add (not improve, because it plays great) to the game is more dice type options, although the three built in are nice, and more importantly, having the running score on the main screen, instead of having to leave the game screen.

Been spending lots of time in Dr offices waiting rooms lately. This is great 4 making the time fly. Got the people seated next 2 me playing. They love it. Well worth the $. Got mad @ it the 1st time I played it cuz it crashed, then I realized it hadn't crashed I had run the battery down playing it for hrs. Would luv 2 c a undo feature, easy 2 make a mistake. Thx
kwvalentine,
HELP
I'm addicted. So much fun and so quick to play. I was very unhappy with the makeover of the dice. They look unnatural and it seems a bit difficult to see "the dots" on them. I much prefer the old look. The reason I say HELP above is because the game desperately needs an undo feature. I get so aggravated when I accidently hit a wrong selection that I will always reset the game and just start it over. Get this added and change the look of the dice back and I'd rate this game 5+ stars.
celia p,
yahtze
I had this game on every phone that I could use, plus my itouch and now I found it for the ipad. I love this game and it is just like the board game. It's not like a racy game but just a clean all time fun game to play while you are waiting for something or just for a good time.
Wilson the Cat,
Uncluttered fun
I had to laugh at the description. The developer and a dozen other people know what ray-traced images are. The rest of us don't care.

What does matter is that the developer has paid attention to the details, resulting in a really enjoyable "cup and 5 dice" game. This is an app one can play for hours without getting bored, and without irritating neighbors with whistles and boing sounds. Great job, Mr. Corcoran.
