Create unique, artistically inspired, spacial collages of images that you take by slowly moving the camera around in 3D space. The resulting pictures are somewhat similar to what is called "panography" or "Hockneyesque" (after the artist David Hockney).
"You Gotta See This!" uses the gyroscope of your device to determine the camera orientation while you record and positions the images it takes accordingly on a flat surface to create the spacial collages.

Simply start the recording in "You Gotta See This!", swipe the scene up, down, left and right with the camera and share the image created by one of the five amazing themes on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more. It will be five stars when a couple of quirks are worked out and a feature or two is added:
1. The first picture I take with the app open stays in the capture frame for all my other shots. This makes starting your next shot a little tricky.
2. There's no seamless pano mode. This would be really nice. Even if you had a theme where the edges of the pictures were neither faded nor bordered that would be a lot closer without all the edge detection and blending.
3. The resulting images should be of higher resolution.
4. Live preview in the capture frame would be great but I imagine that's technically very difficult.
5. More/custom themes. How about letting me choose the photo edge/border and the background image/color?
I found I got best results when moving really slowly and having the exposure locked. This app is really intended for making "artistic" collages, not for VR 360 capture (which would actually be really cool...) so don't expect seamless panos or even alignment perfection. The resulting images are still really cool.

I don't use this app that often but I really like the results when I do. Lately I've been getting a note that it needs to updated to work with the next IOS. I sure hope they do but since it hasn't been updated in four years it doesn't seem likely. ☹️

Unique, excellent art-photo tool
You Gotta See This creates original, distinctive, and -- in the hands of a good photographer -- truly artistic images that evoke the "panography" of British artist David Hockney. Hockney used a Polaroid camera to capture dozens of images which he would mount in a large-scale array to create a single work composed of multiple, intimately connected parts.
YGST accomplishes much the same thing by using the built-in accelerometer of the iPhone or iPod touch to detect when the camera has moved to a new spot, capturing an image of that spot, and merging all the photos into a single composite image or (your choice) an array of adjacent images displayed against a selectable background.
The point of this app is not (as with, say, AutoStitch) to create a seamless large-scale photograph, but rather to create an artfully multi-paned composition that can be greater than the sum of its individual parts. The results can be stunning or mediocre, depending on the subject and the skill of the photographer. Check out the user-supplied images on the developer's web site for an idea of what is possible. it's ok, but...
On the surface I was completely jazzed about this offering. But after using it a few times here are a few things I noticed.
-way to much overlap on the pictures; so you are looking through multiple levels of images.
-where is the resolution? the whole point of a pano is to see detail, you might be better off just standing back and taking "wider angle" shot, because the resolution of the rendered picture is the same as one picture anyway. If you can't get back far enough to get the whole scene then this app might be for you. But really the camera lens is pretty wide already. I want the option to render at full resolution, and steps in between.
-the backgrounds that are included in the app are very annoying
Something I would like to see is a way to "open" a pano scene, and be able to view in 360 degrees the original "sphere" of shots taken. You'll notice when taking the pano, there is a colored sphere that tracks your phone movement in space. Your camera is taking pictures in this "sphere" and they are recompiled and stretched flat when sent. I would love to see those photos "inside" the sphere so I could do the reverse and view the 360 pano by moving the phone around. You could then send these .sphere shots to others that had the app to view them as a 360 pano.
Until the resolution issue is "fixed", I'll have to stay at 3 stars.

Good app, but with some caveats
When used properly, this app provides an ability to show far more than a standard iPhone photo can, and there are times when that can be immensely useful. For that reason, and because it's priced at $1.99 and not higher, I rate it 3 stars... not more, though, because of issues mentioned below. I'll review my rating with future updates to see if my concerns are addressed.
The need to hold the camera at arm's length and to keep the arm rigid to get the shots - which really does seem necessary to get accurate results - is going to make some shots less than enjoyable to take.
The first time I used the app, it froze and I needed to hard-reboot the phone (power + home button). Before freezing, when moving between views, the app often stalled for periods of time. Since this is iPhone 4-only, it's not due to hardware or software issues. It's nice to have multiple viewing options, and upon reboot, I see less of a stall when switching. Perhaps the app uses a lot of memory, so it's best to have little else running when using it.

Buyer Beware!
I hadn't used this app in a while, then fired it up when at a beautiful vantage point on vacation. I captured a couple of collages, but didn't realize (until after I got back) that UNLESS YOU SEND OR SAVE EACH COLLAGE, IT GETS OVERWRITTEN BY THE NEXT ONE. No warning, they're just gone, as far as I can tell. So I only had the last one I did, which was certainly not the best one.
It would be nice if the app would double-check with you if you haven't clicked 'save to camera roll' or 'email' or one of the other sharing options, before just letting you throw away the panorama you just captured. (Or at least it could be a preference you could turn off, once you were a YGST! master and knew better.) Or, save a bunch of them in a history and make people delete them to get rid of them.

Datestamps are totally off
I do love this app, I've been making David Hockney style panographs for years, so it's great to be able to do it so quickly with the camera that's always in my pocket.
But:
- The timestamps for all the photos are off by about 40 years. I've got three photos I made today and saved to the camera roll, all about 10 minutes apart. One says Nov 30, 1960, the other Nov 30, 1965, and the third says SEP 30, 1985. The times are also completely off.
- I would be great if they'd be able to figure out when the camera has gone completely out of focus and not take a picture until it does. I don't mind going as slow as I need to to get them all in focus. Or at least, is it's going to take the out of focus images, don't put them on top of the in-focus ones.
But:
